<Snipped quote by McHaggis>
I don't know if we should do specific times, that caused chaos in another rp I'm in. I was thinking that maybe we just do day/night scenes that are changed by the gm/co-gm's?
We definitely should do the locations though.
I was thinking that time is not a unit of measure in the RP, if that makes sense? Let me explain.
I was in an RP recently where we did AM/PM things, but people would be behind because of timezone and it just didn't work out because they had just written a morning post, then its already dark.
If time isn't relative, that means anybody can say its anytime for plots sake; for example.
-----------------------
*first post*"Such a beautiful morning!" Levi said.
*A few posts later*"What time is it?" Levi asked.
"Half past twelve." _____ answered.
*A few posts later*"I love the sunset!"
"Its beautiful!"
*A few posts later*"Its so late!"
"I know, you should head to bed."
-----------------------
This way, everyone can stay at their own time and pace, and don't feel rushed; you just choose one time or another with other people when the plot calls for it. Example:
"____ waited until nightfall to meet up with levi"
*Next post*"After sundown, Levi met ____ at ____"
That way, you both are at the same time!
-----------------------
If a group is at Huskers or the park or something, then a time will be decided upon a GM; so people don't say "good morning" when it is night in someone else's post.
Make sense? I hope its not too confusing?
