TFW you realize your SW character somehow turned into an anime character. I didn't even use an anime avatar. Damn you Japan! Freaking brainwashed me.

@LordVoldemort

Jauna heard Eli's familiar voice call out, "Walls don't count, Jauna!" Keeping the sword pointed at the wall, Jauna casually peered at him over her right shoulder, half her face hidden behind a velvet red curtain. "Is that a challenge?" she called back concealing half of a grin. She observed Eli hop on a horse. "No way! I thought we couldn't have horses on this journey!"

With that, Jauna sheathed her sword and raced across the castle courtyard to the stables. Spying a smaller, sturdy mare with a gray coat speckled with black spots and a mane of purest white, the lady accepted a nearby stable boy's offer of a wooden step stool which he placed beside the horse. He offered her a hand up as well but Jauna immediately plum forgot his existence as she happily mounted the horse in two fell bounds. She did, however, still remember to sit side-saddle. It simply wasn't befitting for a woman of her up-and-coming status at court to debase herself riding like a man. That was one of the few perks of marriage that Jauna idly looked forward to, being able to ride how she pleased when she chose. As she watched the rest of the assemblage seemingly gravitating toward Maize and Rhea, Jauna felt a small twang of jealousy that nobody had any reason to look to her for authority.

She sighed audibly. Of course it was stupid for her to want that now; her experience outside the castle was truly optimistically minimal and pessimistically nonexistent. The only reason she was here was because....well frankly she didn't know other than Eli seemed pleased to have her along. And why shouldn't he? That's right! She would protect Eli with her own life if need be. That....was a disturbing thought. What if they ran into danger? Surely with a party this size, the two of them would probably never come to any real harm right? These thoughts gnawed at her insides as she walked her horse, whom she absently heard the stable boy call Jessie, up next to Eli's mount.
Sorry, my subscription box broke again so I wasn't getting notifications. I swear up and down I thought everybody ELSE hadn't posted.

@LordVoldemort Posted. :)
As the front of Daisy's outfit got torn by the drake, Ceria shouted, "Enough is enough, you scaly fuck! We came in here to pay our respects to your deity and you go on and attack us without provocation? Stop hurting my friends!" Lapsing into Elvish while raising her bow with an arrow nocked, Ceria screams, "Amin feuya ten' lle!" and fires straight for the drake's center of mass. The arrow smacks the dodgy flying lizard right up behind its tail and clearly hurts more than just its dignity.

@Ambra

I edited my last post and hope it's now satisfactory. En garde! >,>

(I'm actually pretty sure this universe wouldn't take too kindly to fencing terminology, or French, but allons-y!)
@Lord Orgasmo We're waiting outside, getting ready to go. You can interact with one of the people there.

I interact reactively to whoever interacts with Jauna. Hint hint nudge nudge! I'll try to be more proactive, but I'm the type of person who likes to be approached first and Jauna is the same way. @Zeroth had the right idea. :)

Lastly, the post may be small, but it could have been a lot smaller without the sword practice bit for other people to glom onto if they so chose.

EDIT: I have an idea now actually, but I'll wait for a couple more people to post first which will probably override aforementioned idea, so never mind!
Sorry for the micro-post. About half the group still appears to be at breakfast while the other half is ready to go. I wanted to make sure Jauna was in the latter grouping.

Greymont Castle - Main Gates

Jauna finished her breakfast and followed the rest of the party out towards the main gates of the castle. She wondered if they would ever actually get underway or if there were yet more things to discuss that hadn't already been brought forth. The lady distanced herself about ten feet from the group, brandished her sword, and practiced simple thrusts and parries while she waited for departure time.

Sword forms, in all practicality, were the stuff of practice rather than actual battle. In a calm, rested environment Jauna could perform all but two of the forms taught to her by the strict woman who had coached herself and Eli. When push came to shove, not that she had experienced altogether many shoving occasions, it was surprising just how much of one's training went out the window in the midst of chaos. The nobility swordplay instructor in question would have chalked it up to her not having practiced enough for the training to become so-called "muscle memory". Jauna snorted at the thought as she feinted, spun roughly three-hundred-and-sixty degrees to her left and stabbed at the castle wall. Her black blade landed a mere inch away from the rough-hewn outer wall beside the gates.

"Jauna one, wall zero," she muttered under her breath and assumed a ready position.
Your icon is gorgeous. Welcome aboard, Ann! Excited to have you, and I hope to see you around~

My lack of artistic expertise means I can't tell what the bottom half of the image is supposed to be. I see a gal with a very pretty flower in her hair, but other than that, no can tell. O,o
@LordVoldemort @Ambra

Jauna's whole demeanor wilted at Eli's mention of walking. So that was to mean no carriages or horses then? Alright, fine by her if that's what he wished. If this was a test of her endurance, she entertained herself with the thought that hers might be greater than the prince's. She returned her gaze from Lady Rhea's mini-speech back to the last remnants of her porridge and shoveled the rest as gracefully as possible down her slender gullet.

When a well-muscled, knight in literal shining armor stepped up to the breakfast table and introduced himself as a knight and in charge of this mission, Jauna's eyes about bulged out of their sockets and she found herself hiding behind her hair. Well dang, we're in good hands she thought simply as her brain worked in overdrive to try, somewhat unsuccessfully, to focus on what else he was saying. It was clear that Eli was still a boy compared to this....this....MAN! @Solace . Jauna cleared her throat mildly and gestured to one of the servants who came up to take her plate and utensils. She nodded to them, all the more reason to have her now rosy cheeks pointed somewhere other than the newcomer or Eli. She found herself clutching the pommel of her father's sword in an effort to keep both hands in her lap and still.
