oh while were talking about data backups for RP stuff, boy howdy do i have a story,

One of my first ever RPs was about people in Code-Geass style mech suits fighting against an all powerful corporation and it was super dope, and we more or less finished the damn thing and I book marked it and loved it and it was mine

A few months later the site I had put it on got hacked, and I lost it forever. I have the first have of it saved before we transferred websites, but all of the really good stuff is gone for good.

this is definitely not a happy story, it crushed me real bad

@Mercenary Lord ...clearly you have not been rping with the right people. Then again "planned from the beginning" is a variable term. How far into the beginning counts? Must it be someone else that thinks of said weakness?

in fairness, I have taken several long breaks where I havent had time to write with others

generally it means weaknesses written into the Character sheet. I may be biased currently, since I've been in a superhero rp for a while where one of the players made a severely overpowered character, threw a fit when the GM called them out on it, got that character killed, made another overpowered character...you get the drift

never mind, i think my mind is going more and more insane recently

here is one of the few times in all my years (like 6 or whatever) that I've actively seen a player voluntarily set their character up to have a disadvantage that they didnt plan for in the beginning, is this like wizardry or something
