TIER 2 - Dragon is older, edging toward adolescence, roughly 4 meters in length.
TIER 3 - Dragon is now an adolescent, roughly 7 meters in length.
TIER 4 - Dragon is edging toward adulthood, roughly 10 meters in length.
TIER 5 - Dragon is now an adult, roughly the size of a whale shark.
TIER 6 - Dragon is at its prime, just an increase in power.
Unlike other summoned creatures, the dragons that Tamers choose when they first enter the game are a permanent companion. The dragon’s level corresponds with the player’s mastery level and tier: the higher they are, the bigger and more powerful the dragon. They can stay by their masters side, following them throughout their adventures, or be summoned when in need. On the note of size, any dragon above Tier 2 will take the appearance of a Tier 1 dragon in cities and outside of PvE areas.
Dragons are the main weapon of Tamers. If a dragon dies in battle, they will return to their master’s inventory as an egg. After the cooldown (which is dependent upon the dragon’s level) is complete, the Tamer can summon their dragon again. Tamers may also have a secondary melee or ranged weapon (practically required, as dragons are fairly weak in the beginning). What that weapon
is depends on the player. Choices include--but not limited to--swords, maces, bows, guns, and even bare fists. The secondary weapon choice unlocks skills and perks specialized for said weapon. As such, the decision is permanent.
The special ability of which they are named is the power to tame wild dragons. This allows the player to summon them in battle alongside their original dragon. But once these dragons die, the bond is severed and they will respawn in the area they were first tamed. As Tamers advance through tiers, they are able to tame larger wild dragons equivalent to the size of their own. Only one wild dragon can be summoned at a time.
