Bio

He/They Geek by day, mailman by the hour. New to the site, and rpg forums. Kinda. I have some brief experience on Iwaku but lots of time playing Pathfinder, Call of Cthulu, Dungeons and Dragons, Starfinder, etc. I typically run games that are on the spooky, mysterious side. Open to any game that has role play, combat, exploration, I can do whatever. Outside of rpgs, I watch weird movies, play a few games, write, and hike.

@sassy1085 That's cool, I like that idea. What do they play? Guitar?
So we may or may not find another player. There is an npc that briefly joins the party, she can stay for the first book if we need her.
@Tangletail Very nice, you seem like you're ready. You have good traits too. I'll be nice and let you take the maximum starting gold for your class.
@rush99999 It all depends on how you want to fight. Fighters have versatility and different builds. Barbarians are a little more one note, but no one is better in melee combat.
@rush99999 Any idea what class you would want to play?
@Tangletail You can pick Alchemist since you've played before. That's a pretty universal one.
Any race that doesn't have a natural fly speed is okay. Teiflings are welcome aboard. I'm partial to catfolk rogues myself. They get special rogue's talents. As for unchained classes, I strongly encourage them over the original. They fixed them for a reason, especially monk.
There's room and thanks for the information. We just need one more to get started
I also have a pdf for character sheets if need be. Since you're new, we'll stick to the base classes. That's Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Wizard. There are many other classes and some are pretty good, others are pretty niche or complicated. You can also check out aonprd.com/Classes.aspx for more information. The archives of nethys have most pathfinder material uploaded. It's a lot of information and I can help more directly if need be. Once you know what class you want, you can pick your ability scores. Instead of rolling, we will do the point buy system. Everyone gets 20 points for ability scores. Then pick a race that compliments your class well. After you settle on those big decisions, you can distribute your skill points and pick a feat. The last step is to buy your equipment. All the information you need to create a character is on the Archives of Nethys. If you need help on what to choose or any questions at all you can DM me.
If you've played DnD 3.5 or 2e it's a smoother version of that. There's still lots of math but not as much as the older systems. Check out
myth-weavers.com If you make an account you can fill out character sheets for free.
