I don't think anyone is getting diplo-annexed.

Edit: Or maybe they are.

Hmm my hands were tied, when you have European dogs at your gates I'm sure your tune will change. Not all of us can achieve a bloodless independence but then again you'd couldn't understand as you haven't been dealing with conflicts since your nations founding.

Man, just get on good terms with the United States. If the British decide to come for you I doubt they'd want to go through the United States as well to do so. Monroe Doctrine.

I'm not exactly sure how the Conference of Constantinople came about. I wasn't even going to attend it until I found out the other Great Powers were.

Yeah, I didn't mean to sound like I was making a personal shot at anyone. I generally like to think I maintain some sense of civility and haven't come over hostile towards anyone, but that Treaty that was formed there seemed detrimental to developing the NRP to me. I'm hoping that another war involving as many people as this one doesn't break out anytime soon after.
Once the ACW is settled and if Aegon loses is he even allowed to just switch to another nation or does he get sent back in the queue?

Okay, I think we're pretty civil, but I don't appreciate this accusation. What does this mean?

There was a collective alliance throughout the entirety of Europe and a council that basically wouldn't allow any war in Europe at all and if one started, they'd get dog-piled be all GPs. I didn't think it'd need much of an explanation as to how this could prove detrimental to the development of the NRP, it'd make everything way too quiet at a time period where such a thing shouldn't even be possible. There should be conflict in Europe that doesn't automatically draw everyone into the pile, there should be isolated wars between a few powers, but not all of them.

The Coalition wins, it's the Allies who are getting nothing out of this (except a lot of dead sons and fathers). The Prussians are a step closer to forming the German Empire, and the Dutch can now form Greater Netherlands. All the allies get is a bunch of dead people. Seriously, you should have kept fighting, France. Your move didn't just cost everyone the war, but will put you all at a severe disadvantage for (probably) the remainder of the RP. The Coalition has practically won the game.

There isn't a game to win, there also isn't really a whole lot we actually want in a peace deal with the allies in the first place. It also doesn't mean that the current alliance that the Coalition formed will even last much longer after the war. None of us have any interest in trying to form a giant alliance to dictate control of Europe. The main reason I fought this war besides returning Italian land to my control was to stop the giant British, French, Austrian, Ottoman alliance. From the start of the game that alliance was basically stalling the progress of this NRP.

Just seems a little weak to let them have Belgium and Alsace-Lorraine. Trying for peace is fine, it's agreeing to their demands so easily that seems a little off. You'd think France would feel a little stronger about letting both Belgium and Alsace-Lorraine go.

They'd given away AL before the war even started.

Edit: It was Austrian land when the war started.

Treachery cuts both ways. Don't worry Greece, we want you back.

Although there are a couple thousand dead Italians that they have to answer for. :l

Regno d'Italia

A major step forward in returning Europe to a state of peace once more has been made today with the signing of this treaty of peace and friendship. The Kingdom and people of Italy have always held the French in high regard due to the bonds that have tied us together in friendship in the past. It both moves and warms my heart that the French Empire has decided peace between themselves and the Coalition is the best course of action for the future of Europe. At the conclusion of this horrible war which has engulfed our fair Europe, I look forward to strengthening the bond that already exists between our two glorious nations.

Honestly, Russia can take its sweet time getting soldiers there. Siberia will defend itself. Having troops there only accelerates the deaths of those on the offense.

Basically this.

Russia has been in far worse situations and this is not that bad in comparison.
