@StarGenie44 Thanks for catching me in your post, my darling! I'll be sure to return the favor in my next one.

@AnnaBeth What are the posting rules? I don't want to step on anyone's toes or anything.
Mia walked briskly down the hallway towards her first class of the morning, clutching at the strap of her book bag like it was a rosary. The students in the hallway gave her curious looks as she passed by; their gazes focused on her newly dyed purple tresses. While the dress code at this school was extremely relaxed at best, the administration still generally frowned on unnatural hair colors. Mia had convinced the principal that it was for a social experiment, so he’d let it slide for the time being. While the teenage liked her new look quite a lot, she was beginning to regret her latest fashion decision, as it drawing a bunch of unmerited attention.

Mia followed a blonde girl, who had apparently tried to drown herself in Coco Chanel No. 5 this morning, into her English Literature class and took a seat in the middle of the classroom. Normally, she would have sat in one of the back rows, but it was becoming increasingly crowed back there.

“Oh my God, Mia!” Exclaimed Amelia, a petite brunette girl whose mother worked at the hospital with Mia’s father. “What have you done to your hair?” the other girl asked woefully, stroking Mia’s violet locks as if mourning the death of her once beautiful hair.

“Knock it off,” Mia says, but there is no heat behind it and she lets the other teen continue to play with her hair. After a few seconds the teacher strolls in and introduces himself, before announcing that they all have to participate in an ice breaker activity. Mia bites her lip and tries to suppress a smile as she listens to her other classmates groan in protest. Rummaging through her book bag, the pale youth pulls out a spiral notebook, along with a pen, and begins the assignment.

‘Purple,’ she jots down for the first question, smiling at the how obvious an answer it was. ‘Translator for the CIA,’ she writes for the next question in small, precise letters. For the final question she stops, tapping her pencil softly against the desk top. The most important thing to Mia was bringing up her history grade, but she was pretty sure that they’d be required to read this out loud at some point, and she didn’t want a whole class to know she was struggling in what many people considered to be an easy subject. After another few moments of hesitation, Mia quickly scribbles, ‘To make new friends’, before folding the paper and laying it down on her desk.

Yay, they finally meet! I've been so excited waiting for this moment! :D

Evee's pretty horrified by Beast's appearance right now, but she'll warm up to him later once they get to know one another.
Evee stared, horrified, as the rock began to undulate and transform right before her eyes. In its wake stood a sinister looking creature, with no eyes, gleaming fangs, and what looked like circuitry running all over its body. The moonlight reflected off of it's metallic body as the nearby coyotes began to yowl frenziedly and the chicken flapped their wings in a panic. Evee's mouth went dry and her pulse was pounding in her ears. The blonde didn't know what the monster could possibly be or where it came from, but she was sure about one thing.

She needed to run.

Evee turned and began to haul herself out of the hole as quickly as possible, digging her nails into the earth so hard that her fingers started to bleed. She didn't dare look back to see if the beast was following her or not, certain that she would be overcome with fear if she saw it's horrendous teeth again. When she eventually manages to grab the top of the crater, she uses all of her upper body strength to throw herself up and out of the hole. Scrambling to get to her feet, Evee starts out in a mad sprint for the house.
It does, thanks for the quick reply! I'll try to work up an application by tonight.
@Dynamo Frokane Alright, fresh start , got it.

As for the theme music, not sure if you want a more upbeat song or or not, but there is always this classic! :D

@Roecoon Alright, we'll meet when you move in. I just wanted to clarify though, Nori lives off campus in an apartment, since she doesn't attend school right now. Is that okay?
After a few moments of silence, Evee decides to come away from the window and heads upstairs to change into her pajamas. The small blonde enters her room and makes quick work of shucking off her school clothes and pulling on her nightclothes, which consist of a pair of loose fitting shorts and a tank top. She pauses to run her hands appreciatively over the soft blue floral fabric, before heading back downstairs to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. The teen gets about three steps down the stairway when she hears a low rumble. As the rumble evolves into what sounds like loud thunder crashes and the floor begins to vibrate, Evee clutches the banister with a white knuckle grip to steady herself. Slowly, she descends back down to the main level, where she can see through the windows that the sky has grown even brighter.

“What the hell?” she muses, before gathering her confidence and going to the door to unlock it. If that was an earthquake like she thought it was, she needed to go and check on the coop to make sure it hadn’t caved in. Evee opened the door and had made it halfway across the yard before an explosion knocked her straight onto her back. Ears ringing, stunned, and half blinded by the light flash and dust, the girl laid there panting, trying to collect herself. She squeezed her blue eyes shut tight to try and keep the dirt out and her hands gripped searchingly at the cool grass to help ground herself.

After a minute or two, when the yard was near silent again and she had gotten her breath back, Evee opened her eyes to stare back up at the sky. It had darkened considerably, but it still didn’t look quite normal. Hesitantly, Evee sat up, hissing at the pain that became apparent in her right temple as she did so. The teen reached up and gently prodded at the area, grunting at the pain and jerking her hand back to find a small amount of blood on it. “Jesus Christ,” she groaned quietly. And that’s when she saw it.

A few feet from the chicken coop there was a large crater and in the center was a rock like Evee had never seen before. The blonde got up and walked closer, until her bare feet stood right at the edge of the crater. “It’s beautiful,” the girl said as she gazed down at the glossy surface of it, its bright flecks of light seemingly winking at her. She was just about to turn back and see if she could grab her cellphone and snap a picture with the remaining battery life, when the ground beneath her feet caved in and sent her careening into the newly formed pit. “Dammit,” the teen cursed after she landed, this time on her side, at the bottom of the trench. The rock was only a few inches away from her now and it sounded like it was…chirping?

Sitting up, she stared at the object that had fallen from the sky and couldn’t help but feel enchanted by it. Ignoring her instincts, which told her she needed to get back into the house as quickly as possible, she scooted even closer to the space rock and tentatively laid her hand on it. Evee had expected it to be scorching hot, but it was actually pleasantly warm.

Hey, this seems like a lot of fun, but you have a little over sixty IC posts. Is there someone willing to help your future newbies to catch up?
Hurray! Thanks for accepting her! I'm super excited about this game.

@Roecoon I like the idea of our characters being friends! If Nori found out Kameyo was a manga artist she would freak out, since she loves manga (Especially the cheesy romance kind ^.^).

@Saarebas I think Arty and Nori would at least know each other, since they work at the same place. Maybe they could be friends?

@Stern Algorithm I don't actually know how Otonashi and Nori would get along. They seem like complete opposites.
Name: Nori Haywood

Likes: Club/dance music, dancing, forehead kisses, flowers, strong coffee, people with a sense of humor, road trips, dogs, whiskey, video games, pretty dresses, crowds, her cellphone, cooking, tattoos, sushi, true crime tv shows, and manga.

Dislikes: Paper cuts, apples, violence, cold showers, cows (she thinks they're terrifying), spiders, doing laundry, jazz music, vodka, snobby people, thunder, cigarettes, traffic, windows vista.

Party Trick: She's pretty badass at shadow puppets! :)

Profession: Works part time as a DJ at Club LUSH and part time at a flower shop in Shire Junction.

Bio/Personality: Nori grew up the only child of two loving, lower-middle class parents in a rural farming community and even though she was happy, she always longed for the big city life. So when she turned 21, she moved to Shine City to follow her dream of being a professional DJ. Nori quickly learned that none of the radio stations would hire her without experience and she began to lose hope, until she saw a flyer that said Club LUSH was looking for part-time DJs. The young blonde was hired on the spot and while she was excited to be doing what she loved, it wasn't quite enough to pay the bills. So she had to take on another job at the local flower shop to make ends meet. She lives in a small two bedroom apartment above the shop and is currently looking for a roommate.

Nori has an adventurous spirit, thrives on action, and loves anything that gets her adrenaline up. This of course makes her a bit of a risk taker, which often gets her into sticky situations. It also means that she can get bored easily if she feels like she isn't doing something productive. When it comes to the people she cares about, Nori is loyal to a fault. If she sees someone bullying one of her friends she will not hesitate to call them out on it. She is a bright, confident, funny girl who is full of sarcasm and doesn't let anyone push her around.
