Starting a Vampire the Masquerade campaign. Look for it in the TTRPG interest check section. I'm gonna be a story teller!

I feel torn. On one hand, I'm bored, so I want to get into some more RPs. On the other, I know once the quarantine ends, I won't have the free time to keep up with all of them. Temptation is a B.

@rocketrobie2 Feel free to post in the IC section. You can begin with a general day in Steele's life, now that he's become a kindred.
The central power of Indiana had never been completely certain among the world of the kindred. Last a prince ruled there, the man had been completely crazed. A life spent constantly at war had left him hating anything he perceived as alien, including things so simple as the race of the kine. At first, it was a simple eccentricity. When his racism carried over to the ranks of kindred, however, and he began risking the masquerade over his desire to 'purge the unclean' he was finally put out of the world's misery.

Since that time, nearly fifty years ago, the throne of Indianapolis has gone empty. In the absence of the Camarilla's guiding hand, the Anarchs were eager to take hold. However, while their presence ensured the continuation of kindred within the state, their lack of resources led to a number of troublesome foes going unchallenged in the area.

Local churches began turning to the ways of the Second Inquisition, creating small pockets of hunters with generation of experience to call upon. Protected by the power of true faith, they seek out kindred, and purge them from the world with zealous vigor.

In a state so full of open land and large pockets of wilderness, one of the kindreds' greatest enemies could take hold; Lupines. Physically powerful, and willing to readily work together for the common good, these beast-men seek out the kindred, to kill them without hesitation. Seeing vampires as a blight on the land, they make it their personal mission to end that blight.

Other threats also exist, from rumors of feral kindred who stalk the woods and risk the masquerade, to stories of powerful fey influencing the habits of those who live near them. There are even reports of a guild of mages, set up somewhere in the very heart of Indianapolis.

Against all these odds, one kindred has stepped up to take the throne. A powerful, seventh generation ventrue who has managed to sweep into the state and assert himself as the prince of the capital. Very little is known about him, his name not even yet public to the world, but one thing is for certain; Though his empire is vast, he seeks allies among his own kind, as the threats that stand posed against him will eventually break down his walls. As powerful as his fortifications may be, no king can stand without subjects to give orders to.
So, to recap; There are two goblins still alive, but very firmly passed out. Tibor noticed while he was checking for tracks. Unless someone can actually speak goblin, though, it's going to be very difficult to convince Tibor to waste his time bringing one of them around in lieu of just killing them.
@Necroes Well are you going to try to speak to them normally?

As far as I'm aware, the only goblin still 'alive' is bleeding out on the road. Tibor never did anything to heal it, and since then it's been long enough to build a funeral pyre, light it, and search for tracks. Not to mention treating the halfling's wounds.

Is it even still alive? Tibor has a 15 passive perception and was over searching that area; did he happen to hear if the goblin was still breathing?
Can anyone in the party even speak goblin?

I know comprehend languages would let Neth understand the goblin, but if it can't speak common, then we're not going to be able to question it in the first place.
Don't worry, Tibor is being actively useful.
Tibor wasn't paying attention to the rest of them. There were more important things to do than get caught up in squabbling and trying to pass blame. He did not hear the tiefling passing out the coin, but the actual cost of the maul and the chainmail would far outweigh that of the gold, so he simply made a mental note of it and decided when it came time to sell what they could not use the scales would be balanced then.

Searching the area, it took him longer than he had expected to find the drag marks, but eventually he did. As he had expected, the batiri of this land were no better at hiding their tracks than those of Chult. After taking his time to check, though, he realized that there were more than just the tracks for one dwarf here. There was another that the batiri had taken.

"Tibor find him some tracks. Gundren, by de boot prints. Look like him was captured alive, an went willingly. Not normal, for de dwarf people, but de batiri take more den jus him. Dere another set of prints here. Dis rescue gettin more and more complicated."

With that, he would stand and walk back to the group. He did not feel the urge to prove himself with words. So far, he had been the one to save their driver's life, after moving to protect it on the battle field. He had put the warrior from his misery and cared for his funeral, and now he had found their way forward. As far as Tibor was concerned, the rest of them needed to prove they were better for more than killing batiri and wasting time arguing.
@rocketrobie2 Alright, looks like you're good to join us.

@Dark Cloud I'll work with you as soon as I can to work out the mechanics for your character. You can go ahead and post a description of your character is the CS section. It'll just be his general appearance.
Anyone else want to post, before I have Tibor loudly declare he's found tracks?
@Dark Cloud Which is fine. If you hadn't reserved the next post, the rest of us could have just been talking IC, which we're probably going to end up doing anyway.
