Looking for [MxM] partner

Well, I have a bit of a problem here:

I don't like 1x1, I prefer group rp. But most of the romance groups are specifically focussed on hetero pairings leaving no place for any mxm or fxf.
Non-romance groups almost never include sexuality as an important part of the character sheet, and even when they do most of the characters are straight anyway, specially the males. So getting a lover is almost impossible.
It seems that yaoi rpers aren't very welcome on this site outside the 1x1 section, where on top of that, most of them seem to be focussed mostly on the smut.

So... I wanted to create a normal group (or maybe joining an existent one) together with someone who might want to create another gay male character, so we can pair them up if we can't find any other MxM players.

Is anyone interested in some MxM romance in a group rp?

He's not supposed to be a crossdresser, I just wanted him to look a bit slutty-ish. And as Silent Obvserver said, he isn't the hetero type, so I guess it's fine. But I don't mind changing his appearance if you guys don't like him.

This is what you don't seem to understand; that there might not be any lewd things at all. It's just a normal romance group. I've played lots of these on another "normal" site with the same rules as this one. No smut, no shota, no mature content. And yaoi was perfectly allowed. Many people was there just for the romance. A few kisses, cuddles, and nothing more. And those who wanted to take it to the next level simply went to PM and had their fun there. After they finished, they'd come back to the public thread and kept with the plot. That's all. Nobody was ever reported or banned. There wasn't any "public smut".

I know there are other sites for this, but saying that "this one isn't one of these" is going a bit too far, isn't it? I mean, yaoi is just a fandom related to the manga/anime. It's like saying "I'm making a rp about SAO" or Pokemon. I don't get why all of you see it as something more.

I'm not getting angry or anything, sorry. ;^; I'm just saying that I'm being treated differently than other players from the anime fandom and it is unfair.

I'm more aware of how this site operates than what you all may think. But what I'm trying to say is that I don't plan on restricting the minimum age of the characters just because someone said that my group is potentially guilty of becoming shotacon at some hypothetical point, even though it may never happen.

It's like everybody is assuming that just because this is yaoi it means that all the players will crave for smut and won't care about the rules, instead of viewing it just as any other normal group, just that we only have boys here.

Since you all love rules that much, I would invite you to follow them and, since this is an interest check, post only if you have at least a slight interest, but instead I'll do something more productive with my time; I'll help you spreading the rules trough the community. So please, go to this other interest check, roleplayerguild.com/topics/85577-olymp.. which is also romance based and takes place in a school, and tell the op to change the plot because, hey, that group is definitely potentially dangerous. In fact, it has a lot of more chances of having underaged sex than mine. But, oh wait, it's not yaoi so it's fine. *sigh*

Look, I don't care. I'm not interested anymore in playing here, so do whatever you want. But I hope this helps you to realize how different your treatment has been towards me and my rp just because it has a certain tag.

That's fine, but that brings out two problems:

1) Should we then forbid any underaged characters from participating in the story? Because how are we going to determine who wants to have sex and who's here for other purposes?

2) What exactly is "underaged"? Because in Rome adulthood was reached at 14 and that was the legal age for marriage. And even if I assume you want to follow the modern laws, age of consent varies depending on the country. So... What should I do? Ban all characters of ages under 18 from this specific rp? And do all the romance groups have this rule, or is only mine in particular because it's boy x boy?

Plus since you mentioned pederasty I kinda assumed that you weren't talking just about the smut, but all the things related to seducing an underaged character.

Hmm... Minor characters? Well, I don't mind if you create them, but it's actually the first time that I see someone controlling a warband. Normally I would ask the other players if they want to take those roles. But if you think you can manage all of them on your own, go ahead. ^^

Also, I think you're assuming that everybody in the group has a lot of knowledge on the subject. That's, of course, a good thing, but keep in mind that you might scare some not so experienced rpers. xD So if you plan to get into very specific historical details, please make sure that everybody can still follow the storyline, okay? xD
