Andy Anderson
"Ooh, me next!" Pushy girl. Andy blinked, and cocked his head, hand still extended towards other glasses guy.
"Sidney Garland! All of you obviously know me! I mean, come on, if you don't you've been living under a rock. Seriously, who in this school doesn't visit my blog? hrmm?" She snickered, smiling.
Oh. So her name was Sidney. He thought he’d heard her name before. She had a blog? Well, that would probably explain the whole reporter-y vibes he’d been getting from her.
"As for why I'm here? I think it's rather obvious!" Sidney continued, and all of a sudden her tone completely changed. She leveled a finger at Andy, challenging.
"To disprove any supernatural phenomena that you jokers might come up with! That's right. I'ma reveal any of your little supernatural bullshit as smoke and mirrors."Andy stared, lowering his hand. He turned to face the other girl, startled. Uh…
…well. So that was… something.
Was that supposed to be… a challenge?
She smiled smugly, and sat right back down.
"And if you even think about kicking me out, then well, good luck with that~"Smoke and mirrors, huh? Andy raised his chin boldly, and gave her a pleasant smile. To be honest, he was pretty easy to fluster and embarrass… but about the supernatural?
Hell no. This was his home field.
“I wouldn’t dream of it,” he said. Pleasantly. Very very pleasantly.
“You’re part of this club now, Sidney Garland. So regardless of whether you believe in ghosts or not, you’re going to have to participate to the best of your abilities.”He shoved one hand into his pocket, and leaned back against the wall.
“So how about this? You try to prove to me that it’s all just smoke and mirrors by the end of the year. Give me undeniable proof that it’s all make believe. For now, though, you’ll be a responsible member of this club. And I’ll prove to you that it’s all a hundred percent real. Okay?”Finished, he turned back to tanned boy, and offered him his hand once more. The other boy shook it vigorously. Wow. That was one heck of a good grip.
And he had nice hands. Was he an artist or something?
"Nice to meet you Andy. I'm Connie Sweets, it's my first year here. Hope we all get along well!" said the boy, whose name was apparently Connie. Nice name, that. And woah.
That sure was a dazzling smile. But Andy would NOT BE AFFECTED BY IT.
NOPE NOPE NOPE. PROFESSIONALISM, REMEMBER?Andy opened his mouth to reply, and—
Was promptly cut off by Lillith.
"H'lo. My name is Lillith Marjo," said Lillith, getting to her feet.
"I hope none of you have heard of me or heard my voice before. brodyisafaggot. That's all." Then she sat down.
…did she say what he thought she’d say? No way. He must have misheard. Wasn’t that… kind of rude? Like, really rude?
No way she’d say that. Yeah.
And also it was sort of too late about that voice thing. He’d definitely listened to one of her loli rap covers before.
“Nice to meet you too,” Andy said to Connie in an undertone. He ran a hand through his black hair, smoothing it down, and he smiled, a little ruefully.
“Uhhh… interesting people here, right? I've been here for three years, and I still don't know any of them very well.”
