Powers:
Enhanced Vision:
The "cones" and "rods" in Thea's eyes (the specialized cells responsible for normal human vision) are different. While a normal human has up to 150 million rod cells in their retinas, Thea has closer to 400 million, vastly increasing her visual acuity (clarity of vision). As for her cones, she has fewer than the average human causing her to see mostly in black and white, thus increasing visual contrast (which, according to her, allows her to better see "what's real and what's not", such as seeing through a two way mirror). Thea also has enhanced muscles around her eyes increasing her ability for orb distortion which changes focal length.

Weaknesses:
"If you prick us, do we not bleed?"
Though her body is in unbelievable shape compared to the average girl her age, and add the fact that she is exceptionally skilled, Thea is still very much human. Therefore she is every bit and very much vulnerable to the damage caused by punches, kicks, bites, pinches, knives, bullets, bats, great falls, being hit by vehicles, etc. as the next person.
Thea has yet to have any training nor does she have any resistance to magic or psychic attacks.

Thea is one of the world's greatest archers.
As a young child Thea idolized her hero Robin Hood and was said to be a natural archer, frequently practicing with her bow and arrows. She was mildly traumatized the first time she accidentally killed an animal.

Marksmanship
With her training, natural talent, and enhanced vision Thea virtually never misses with her bow.
She is also quite the fair shot when throwing weapons such as darts, knifes and fighting sticks.

Peak Human Condition:(for her age!)
Thea is in top condition after having to survive on her own for years.

Acrobatics:
Thea is an accomplished and skilled acrobat, able to dodge bullets (single shots) and perform great feats.

Deception:
Thea is a damn good fibber.

She learned how to move silently and how to hide herself while on the island.

Hand-to-Hand Combat/Martial Arts:
Thea has been trained in a number of different fighting styles.
Eskrima, a Filipino martial art that emphasizes weapon based fighting. In Thea's case the emphasis was on fighting sticks.
Hapkido, a Korean discipline and a form of self-defense that employs joint locks, grappling, and throwing techniques similar to those of other martial arts, as well as kicks, punches, and other striking attacks.
Wing Chun is a traditional Southern Chinese Kung fu specializing in close range combat.

Survival:
Being on an island for 5 years, Thea learned how to survive in the wilderness.

Indomitable Will:
Due to the trials suffered upon the island, Thea has tremendous willpower.

Hunting:
Her ability to hunt comes from years of training, patience and survival. Thea is proficient enough in hunting to pursue a cougar without it ever noticing.

BRIEF Bio:
A spoiled brat of a child, Thea Queen accompanies her father, Robert, for a cruise on the family yacht. The ship was sabotaged in the Pacific ocean, forcing Thea, Robert, and a third crewman to escape in a life raft. Only having enough food and water for one person, Robert killed the third man and told Thea that he had failed their city and that Thea needed to survive and right his wrongs. Robert then committed suicide, shooting himself in the head in front of his daughter. Thea's raft ended up on the island of Lian Yu, nicknamed Starfish Island by some because of its shape.

For five years Thea survived on the island, from the age of 13 to 18 years old. There a few scars, a handful which are quite ugly, on her body showing that life on the island was far from easy. Thea has yet to really share her experience on the island with anyone. She has yet to tell anybody that she wasn't always alone on Lian Yu. She hasn't told anybody that the scars on her body are from not only fighting for survival, but received through physical torture.

It wasn't long after returning home that Thea set on her sights on fulfilling the promise made to her father, to right the wrongs of Robert Queen... to save their city. She used her family's money and company to acquire much of her equipment, and even made her base of operations in the cellar of an abandoned warehouse once owned by Queen Industries. For a long while Thea was known as 'the Hood' by the citizens of Star City. She was a mysterious vigilante dress in green and black leather with a hood to hide her identity whom used a composite bow and arrows instead of guns to take down the criminal element from to lowest thug to the highest and richest elitist. The Hood gave little mercy to those whom broke the law and terrorized the city. The Hood often clashed with the Star City Police Department.

Over the last few months, Thea had a bit of an epiphany.
Star City doesn't need a dark vigilante who stalks the shadows to strike fear into everyone's heart. This wasn't Gotham.

Star City needed a hero to inspire hope. Thus, the Red Arrow was born.

Story Arcs:
You Have Failed This City (solo) - The overarching and never-ending story. Red Arrow is on a constant crusade to stop crime and deliver justice in Star City.

Future Past (solo) - Unknown to the public and her family, Thea wasn't always alone on Lian Yu. Soon old ghosts come to haunt her.

Batman's a D**k! (team-up or team) - Not much of a plot for this one. Thea teams up with 1 - 3 other heroes be they solo heroes, Titans or even Leaguers. The heroes one common bond... their dislike for the Dark Knight.

Supporting Characters:
You Have Failed This City (solo) - Moira Queen, Merlyn (Malcolm and/or Tommy)/Dark Archer, Felicity Smoak.
Possible others include: John Diggle, the Hijack King/Whitney Dunn, the Polka Dot Bandit, Isabel Rochev, the Rainbow Archer/Albrecht Raines, Black Spider, Brick/Daniel Brickwell, China White/Chien Na Wei, the Ninth Circle.

Secondary Character:
May have an idea for re-imagining (remaking?) a Green Lantern Corp member into a different hero...

Additional Notes:
This version of the character is meant to take the place of Oliver Queen / Green Arrow.

On the Green Arrow (New Earth) DC Wiki page, it is suggested in the Trivia section that Oliver could possibly be a metahuman. So that gave me the idea to give this version of Thea enhanced vision.

@Omega Man Is team memberships (JLU and Titans) simply determined by the players by stating which team their characters belong to in their CSs? Or might there be any in game tryouts?

EDIT - Should have Red Arrow after work tomorrow. Just need to add a little to her bio, I think.

@Omega Man What's the rule on creating/using villains as PCs or NPCs?

Will we be able to play villains as a secondary character?

What if Player A and Player B both want to claim the same villain as an NPC/Supporting Character? (For example: both Nightwing's player and Red Hood's player want to claim the Joker.)

"'Some of the greatest threats to the world,'" Rachel Reigns said, repeating a section of the message her daughter had received. "Some people used to consider your father a threat." Rachel sat across from her daughter with her arms crossed, studying Stelara with her baby blue orbs intently. Stelara made no acknowledgement to mother, staying silent as she stared out the tinted window of the black limousine that had picked them up at the airport with her beautiful green eyes. "Do you think any of those people care that your father is dead? That that monster killed him in cold blood?"

The limo slowed to a stop in front of the school as it came to its destination. Stelara placed her rather expensive sunglasses upon her face still showing no reaction to her mother's words. While the driver got out to come around and open the door for the young woman Rachel had more to say. "Keep your guard up, Stella. Do not trust them. They will only use you." Then, the door opened.

Without saying a word, the twenty year old got out of the car. Once out of the car Stelara smoothed out her plaid circle skirt and straightened her red, light weight crop sweater. Sheer luxe pantyhose, red ribbed knee high socks, a pair of black platform T-strapped pumps and a silver heart-shaped locket completed her outfit.

Rachel rolled down the window as the driver retrieved her daughter's luggage. "Stella," Rachel said looking up at her daughter, her voice much softer than it had been a minute ago. "You know your father and I have only ever had your safety as our upmost priority."

"Yes, mother."

"You are our shooting star. Please, be careful."

"I will."

I love you, Stelara," Rachel said with a smile before blowing her only daughter a kiss.

"I love you too, mother," Stelara replied and did the same.

And with that small exchange Stelara began her walk up to the front door of the school. Through her dark lenses she could see a quartet of young adults loitering in front of the doors. Were the doors locked or were they merely hanging out? As her heels clicked along the pavement Stelara would soon find out.
