heyo! i'm going to make this pretty short and sweet. i'm looking for some partners who share the same interests as me! i've been roleplaying for much of my life, for the past 15 years or so i believe, which is a pretty dang long time to be doing this shit. i'm female, but i prefer roleplaying male. i don't mind roleplaying as female though in some cases or in certain plots, but that's to decide later!

i prefer to only use real face claims as I royally suck at describing people in character sheet form! i only roleplay with people who are 18+, due to the nature most of my roleplays will devolve into. i write smut and curse like a filthy sailor and i love themes of drugs, abuse and the like (rl is bad tho, don't do drugs, kiddos).

For obvious reasons, I have tried to keep the short version of the plot as tame as possible, but I'm looking for something a little darker than what I normally write. Message me if you're interested in hearing the finer details of this roleplay, as I do have specifics that I cannot mention here.

Your character is the daughter of a nobleman with a gambling/drinking/drug addiction. She is the youngest of a set of daughters, unwed and without the prospect of a husband, making her the perfect bargaining chip. To pay off his outstanding debt, her father decides to strike a deal with a shady merchant just passing through town. For the promise of one of his daughters, this man will erase all of the debt. It's a tempting offer and her father takes it, no questions asked.

Now, this merchant may be shady, but he is charming and handsome, making him perfect at bargaining and getting exactly what he wants. He deals with all sorts of business and isn't afraid of getting his hands a little bloody. Drugs, illegal liquor, and the sex trade are just a few of his endeavors. Traveling a lot, he's able to peddle his wares just about anywhere and his name is whispered in the shadows of back alleys.

Taking a liking to your character, the shady merchant makes a return to his humble abode, proving simply just how wealthy and powerful he is. He is not without his flaws though, for he is nowhere near perfect - dark desires laying under his charming facade. The nobleman's daughter is no fool and perhaps a little stubborn, fighting back when the merchant makes his move upon the young woman he had bought.

And this is where the plot ends, more dark and sinister plots within.

This roleplay will take place during Fantasy times. I'm not looking for the people themselves to be anything supernatural, so for once I'm going to have to say no to vampires and werewolves. However, I do want there to be ties to magic, more notably, potion-making, so there will be 'witches' but not in the same sense of waving a wand around. More alchemy, less flashy magic.

ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʟᴏᴛ

Finn is a man who could easily say that his life was perfect, that everything was figured out and he honestly couldn't be happier. With a job that he loved, a wife, and a set of twin boys waiting for him at home every night, what could possibly go wrong? That was, of course, until his wife was taken away from the family abruptly in a fatal car accident, and suddenly Finn's world wasn't so figured out, wasn't so perfect anymore. Struggling to figure out how to take care of two young boys while dealing with his own job and grief, Finn is more than a little frazzled, a little overwhelmed, and is looking for help to try and get his life under control. So, Finn does the only thing he can think of, he hires a live-in nanny to help take care of the boys while he's away at work, to lessen the burden of the sudden weight that has fallen upon his shoulders.

This is an extremely loose plot, it can be changed, of course, within reason, but this is something I've been dying to do for the past couple of days, especially the slice-of-life romance. This will obviously be modern, romance is a must, there is no budging on that. I want that sweet, sweet drama of a life lived miserably but eventually opening up to the possibility that there is a life after death.
ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀs

Finn Richardson is set in stone, he's my character. He works at a local prison as a guard and has a pretty stressful life regarding that, his job sometimes calling him in randomly. His character will be written in more fine detail once the roleplay begins, I don't do personality mock-ups.

Your character can either be a male or a female, I don't much care if this roleplay falls under MxM or FxM, it's entirely up to you. As far as what I'm looking for in your character, they must be young, but not too young. Mid-twenties is a good starting point. Perhaps they are in college, or perhaps they are just looking for a place to live and figure the job offer that comes with a roof over their head and free food for simply taking care of two boys is too tempting of an offer. They must like children!!! This is a must! I want the boys to grow attached to your character, then for Finn himself to grow attached. So, they must have experience with taking care of children and be willing to put these boys first in their life.

The boys, Trevor and Lawerence can be infants, toddlers, or at most seven years old, it's entirely up to discussion as to how old we want these boys to be when the roleplay starts.

I'm looking for something extremely specific, as this is all lore of my own creation and these dragons have been my children for a great many years. I want to do this plot justice and to have some fun worldbuilding for once. This is a story of high fantasy in a medieval kind of world with magic being prominent. However, please do not feel discouraged, as I do want my partner to have a hand in shaping this world of ours, I'm just very picky and protective over my dragons, as I have worked hard on their lore and making them exactly what I want them to be.

Please, read all of their lore! I am open to questions, so please do not feel like you have to stay in the dark for any reason! I am more than happy to explain my madness.

And as a final note, I need my partner to be 18+, comfortable with most themes, and on the most post once every couple of days. I'm looking for someone active, who wants to work with me a lot with this idea, and I do not mind OOC, if you want to do OOC here or on Discord is fine with me.

In this world, there are many kingdoms, with dragons being at the top of the feeding chain. Other species have begun to make their settlements near dragon territories, which in turn have made them more under the control of whatever clan has claimed the land. They do not interfere with these species unless absolutely required, as many dragons are solitary beasts, but there are many who are fascinated by these other species, having taken quite the shine to humans in particular, as many have claimed some as their favorite companion, or as a mate.

This plot is following a purebred dragon and his dragonblood, who he has taken unwillingly into his home to be his bride, his mate forever even if the dragonblood wants nothing to do with him. Though, it doesn't matter, for as soon as the bonding ritual is complete, the dragonblood is entirely under his spell. This dragonblood can be either male or female, though my preference as of late as been more for a MxM pair, but I do want children to be involved in this, so mpreg would definitely have to be involved if we were to do MxM, so please be open to just about anything, and comfortable with my chaos. Please, please, I don't mind you having limits, but ya gotta tell me. That being said, this is a very niche idea with specific, odd kinks, and it is certainly not everyone's cup of tea. I know, this is one of the stranger roleplays I've set up, but it's also one of my favorite plots.

I'm leaving the idea of the general plot/world open, as I want my partner to have some control over the world and for me to not completely dominate it. If you'd like to play another species than human, I'm completely up for it! Just let me know.

I don't mind if you play a dragon as a side character, and we can certainly have plots outside the main one, but I would really like for you to play something that isn't dragon initially, as I do have this marked as a dragon x human roleplay. ┊ᴅʀᴀɢᴏɴ ʟᴏʀᴇ┊

ᴘᴜʀᴇʙʀᴇᴅ, ᴍɪxᴇᴅ ʙʀᴇᴇᴅ, ᴍᴜᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴs, ʜᴀʟғ﹣ʙʀᴇᴇᴅ, ﹠ ᴅʀᴀɢᴏɴʙʟᴏᴏᴅs -
Dragon's come in five different classifications depending on their lineage. Pure and mixed breeds are more common, though pure are becoming harder to come across. Rarely, a dragon will mate with a species that is not their own, resulting in a half-breed, and even more rare than that, will a species not connected to dragons be born a dragonblood.

All full-blooded dragons have the ability to shift into a true dragon form and share much of the same similarities in their appearances. Though, they tend to favor their human form as it simply makes life easier, tending to only use their dragon as a means of transportation or for war. Their true form will vary in size, but this ability to change form grants them an edge over mostly everyone else, as they can fly long distances without having to worry about obstacles or getting tired. Their size and sheer power make them far more intimidating, as not many are willing to poke a beast that has been known to destroy villages simply for the fun of it. Scales will litter human bodies, sharp teeth line mouths and horns are more common in the male populace. Dragons in their human form are often taller and larger than most species. They are some of the few species that are long-lived, some dragons being a couple of hundred years old before they pass, despite the fact that they breed often and produce a lot of offspring.

Dragons are naturally feral despite their almost human appearance. They do not trust easily, are motivated simply by food, sex, or shiny items, and depending on their element, can act wildly different from each other, each having their own rituals and cultures but all sharing in the same basic needs.

Fɪʀᴇ dragons and those mixed with the blood of one act more hot-headed, temperamental, are extremely territorial, and love to bicker and fight for the fun of it. They are known as the most volatile creatures and are usually steered clear of. These dragons are normally the generals, the soldiers, the ones who fight in wars, as they love nothing more than the glory of battle and pure destruction. They are the ones known to deflect, the ones most willing to attack their own kind and to go completely mad with rage. They are commonly found near volcanos, deserts, anywhere that would be too hot and dry for normal species to live comfortably. Fire dragons are the most solitary creatures of all, preferring to stay by themselves or in very small family units, though children are likely to be kicked out of the nest as soon as they are adults.

Wᴀᴛᴇʀ dragons and their descendants are calm, peaceful creatures that live on coasts, major rivers, and large lakes. They love water more than anything and value knowledge over all else. They are the scholars of the world, running grand libraries and having the knowledge of many dead cultures and their own written out extensively. They tend to keep to themselves from the outside world, though are always more than happy to let people into their libraries, as they love to teach people of the world around them and encourage others to do the same. Water dragons live in small colonies of about a dozen family units, with new dragons going off to seek knowledge elsewhere in the world and to spread the knowledge already gathered. They are natural explorers, but are also completely timid and somewhat afraid of the world despite wanting to know everything there is to know.

Wɪɴᴅ dragons are the politicians of the world, they keep the four main clans from waging war amongst each other and are often sought out in times of great need when other species are at each other throats. They are quick thinkers, extremely charismatic, and easy to get along with - they can make friends anywhere they go. Keeping the peace is basically what they're known for, being able to even calm the nastiest of fire beasts. These dragons make their homes at the tops of mountains, as close to the clouds as they can manage, and thus often make the trek to those who require their assistance instead of the other way around. Though don't let them be too terribly fooled, they can still be easily bribed with a handful of sparkly gems. Wind dragons are naturally nomadic, though they do have one main capital atop a large mountain where most of their business is conducted. They travel generally by themselves or with a partner but tend to easily integrate themselves into other species parties, loving nothing more than to be around other people.

Eᴀʀᴛʜ dragons are natural-born healers, they have the knowledge to cure almost any disease, the antidote to many poisons, and how to tend to even the most life-threatening of injuries. They keep to themselves in thick forests and dense jungles, living in the trees that surround them and can easily blend in, thus making them the hardest population of dragons to find despite them living in tribes. They are the wildest at heart, though they also are extremely sympathetic and will gladly help others if given the chance despite their almost solitary nature.

Of course, all of these is simple guidelines, and there are is nothing to say a dragon cannot be their own person and follow their own path, especially in the case of mixed and half breeds, and even purebred dragons have been known to break out of the norm that has been observed over the course of many years, of many generations. This is just a way to describe how each major populace may act, and what they are best known for, the history books being clearly written in a way that has noticed these stereotypes. They have begun to change with the introduction of more and more mixed breeds, as there are far fewer purebreds to keep their lineages as pure as they were a few hundred years prior.

Purebreed dragons are exactly what the name implies, dragons that have not had their lineage tainted. They are all one element, breeding only with other purebreds. Because of their strict guidelines, these dragons are more often seen as royalty or nobility, which often leads to a larger scheme of incest and dragonblood poaching. All dragons in a single clan will share the same base element, uncorrupted by future combined elements.
Fɪʀᴇ, Wᴀᴛᴇʀ, Wɪɴᴅ, Eᴀʀᴛʜ

These four basic elements are what constitute the purebreds, and are also the stepping-stones for mixed breeds.

Mixed breeds are commonly found throughout the world nowadays and are the product of two different elements and are often seen as a fall from grace. They are the lower class of the dragon world, having unique abilities and appearances thanks to their parent's lineages mixing. Mixed breeds are special in the way that they combine elements to make something completely new, such as a mist or steam element from fire and water parents, or a stone dragon from earth and fire. These abilities vary wildly.

Mutations are not heard of, oftentimes kept secret as they are a product of a fully purebred lineage, but have somehow had their element changed so drastically that they cannot even fathom being passed off as one of their own kind. Despite all of this, they are more commonly found in lineages that have had more instances of incest, which leads to these mutations, as well as more birth defects. Each main element has its own mutation. They are looked down upon, lower than their mixed and half-breed counterparts, and are usually treated terribly. Some families will kill the infant before the news can even spread, others will place the child with someone far from their kingdom. If a mutated dragon makes it to adulthood within their family undiscovered, they are often banished and erased from any record. The mutated elements that pose any danger to the purebred lineage or those that are born with defects are the ones more likely to be culled, while the weaker ones are left to fend for themselves, banished forever from their family.

Tʜᴜɴᴅᴇʀ, Iᴄᴇ, Sᴛᴏʀᴍ, Mᴇᴛᴀʟ

These four elements are oftentimes more powerful than the element they mutated off. Tʜᴜɴᴅᴇʀ is the product of Fɪʀᴇ, Iᴄᴇ of Wᴀᴛᴇʀ, Sᴛᴏʀᴍ  of Wɪɴᴅ, and Mᴇᴛᴀʟ of Eᴀʀᴛʜ. They are coveted in some circles, feared in others. Lineages that have stood the test of time have come crumbling to the ground upon the discovery of one of these mutations.

Half-breeds are becoming somewhat more common as more and more settlements crop up along dragon territories and the two people begin to mingle more. A little bit rarer, it is not commonplace for two species to mix, especially that of dragon descent, but it has been known to happen. These half-breeds are viewed as mutts, as they have little to no elemental magic, no ability to shift into a true dragon form, and short of having some scales litter their body, are more akin to their non-dragon lineage in appearance. They are more often the product of a dragon father, as female dragons rarely desire the attention of a male outside their own species, though it has been known to happen occasionally, and more often than not with species of the same size as them, whilst males will generally prefer smaller females.

Dragonbloods are the most unique and the rarest of all the classifications of dragons. They are not of dragon descent, but somehow possess the power of the dragons. It is believed that they have had a dragon in their lineage somewhere, but that the blood has been so diluted that it is no longer present except for these rare cases where a dragonblood is born. They often do not know what they are and are extremely coveted by dragons for their ability to produce full-blooded, purebred children. They have all the magical ability of a full-blooded dragon, but none of the appearance of a half-breed and cannot shift into a true dragon, looking completely ordinary to whatever species they may be naturally. They oftentimes do not even realize what they are until their power is awoken and many have been lost as they have never truly been awoken. Dragons can tell what a dragonblood is, and will instantly covet them more than they ever would a sack of gold or the largest of gems, almost becoming addicted to even the scent of a dragonblood.

Purebred dragons will seek these dragonbloods out as they are untainted, pure in their element, and will continue their lineage for another generation to come, as once bred to a dragon, the offspring will always be full-blooded.

ᴀʙɪʟɪᴛɪᴇs -
Not all dragons have complete control over their elemental magic. Some have more than others, and some may never learn how to fully control it. Purebred dragons have more control over their base element, while mixed breeds have partial control over their new founded ability, though some have mastered full control from practice and training over a great many years. Some powers are simply too unstable to ever be tamed, and can sometimes lead to wildly uncontrollable dragons in turn. Emotions play a great deal in magic for dragons, as they feed entirely off of them. Fire dragons who are angry are more likely to set the building around them on fire, while wind dragons who are calm generally have a gentle breeze blowing past them.

Half-breeds have little to no control over what small amount of magical ability they may have if they even have any, to begin with. They may be able to use it one day, but the next to be completely without. They may be able to gain a little control with practice, but it's more likely that their powers are simply a nuisance, a hindrance in their everyday life.

Dragonbloods are a wild card, who have all the magical ability of a purebred dragon without any of the control that comes with it. If their power is awoken, they become dangerous as many species are more emotional than the feral dragons these powers originate from. They are often seen as witches and wizards, as magic is only known to the dragons and is rarely found in other species, and so they are hunted, or banished from their lives because of the curse they have been burdened with.

ʙᴏɴᴅɪɴɢ ﹠ ᴍᴀᴛɪɴɢ -
Dragons are very sexual creatures who tend to not bond well with species of their own kind. Bonding is more typically found in dragonbloods, to claim them as the dragons own, or in pairs that will lead to half-breeds. Otherwise, dragons will typically have mating seasons that the males will fight over females for the chance to continue their bloodline. This will typically lead to a single male breeding with many females, which has caused a larger spike in the mixed breeds that inhabit the world.

Purebreds will only breed with those that share the same base element as their own, which will lead to the appearance of a bonded pair when in reality it is simply out of necessity to keep the lineage untainted. This will also lead to a higher chance of incest as fathers breed back to daughters, and mothers allow sons into their beds. They also covet dragonbloods, those that carry the pure element but none of the dragon, able to produce full-blooded offspring easily and keep the lineage from growing too corrupt from their own selfish reasons.

Dragonbloods are the most commonly bonded, claimed by the head of the family to continue their lineage from growing stale. Males are often the ones who claim these dragonbloods as their own, females being considered inferior to their counterparts. They do not care about the gender of their dragonblood, as their magic has the ability to even grant male dragonbloods the chance to carry offspring, though male dragonbloods are not often found.

They bond by imposing their scent upon the dragonblood and activating their abilities, which causes the dragonblood to act more like a dragon, following the same routine of heats that cause them to become extremely needy, clingy even to their dragon mate. This heat is what ultimately grants them the ability to carry dragon offspring, as dragons normally only produce children during these heats. The dragon will bite their mate, their fangs secreting a venom that once mixed with their blood will cause them to smell like their dragon mate. This also has the side effect are truly awakening their powers, making them far more usable than they had been prior. A sort of blood ritual then takes place, as both parties feed off of each other's blood, allowing the two to finally be bonded. In the case of male dragonbloods, this ritual is also what activates the ability for them to carry the dragon's offspring if the bonded dragon is not female. The dragon will then become extremely protective over their bonded, and their bonded will tend to stay close to their new mate.

Dragons typically go into heat twice a year but have been known to have it happen as many as four times in one year. These are the only times when females typically fall pregnant, as every other part of the year they are free to have as much sex as their heart desire. Once a female is pregnant, she and her mate will then go about their life as they did before, but the male will tend to stay by her side, growing increasingly protective over her and the growing child. As they prefer their human form, the female dragon will avoid shifting as it is simply easier to be a pregnant human over a dragon who cannot do even the most basic of tasks, though some have been known to prefer staying in their dragon form the entire pregnancy and making a nest in a cave somewhere to raise their children.

They typically have two children with every pregnancy, though in the case of female partners not of dragon blood, or dragonbloods, they normally just have one child, as it is much easier on their bodies. Dragon babies grow extremely quickly, pregnancy generally only lasting about six months instead of nine, though it can vary in the case of half-breed couples and dragonbloods and isn't completely unheard of for a non-dragon to carry a dragon child to nine months, or depending on the species of the mother, more or less.

┊ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ┊

Rekkein is a tall bloke standing at 7'3 with his curled horns adding an additional 3-inches. His eyes are normally a deep shade of brown, though when angry or of a high emotional state, they have been known to faintly glow with fire. His muscular body is littered with scars, tattoos, and the black scales that outline his body, small patches appearing randomly on his chest, back, arms, and anywhere else. He has a small cluster of tiny scales under his left eye. Rekkein has four sharp fangs on the top row of his teeth, but only one set to accompany them on the bottom, as well as sharp nails on the ends of his fingers.

Rekkein has a great understanding of fire and can control it on a whim with little effort on his part. His fire can be particularly destructive when he is angry. Smoke can usually be seen coming out of his nostrils or mouth as he speaks and breathes, just a side-effect of having a fire burn constantly in his chest. I don't have anything super thought out this time around, I've just been itching for something a lot like the crime dramas you find on Netflix, each episode or a series of episodes entirely on one case, with maybe one larger scheme in the works. Maybe your character is new to town, or perhaps they've lived in the town all of their lives, and now for whatever reason, shits going crazy. (Could be a reporter???) A string of murders, slaughtered animals, Old Man Ted is screaming about aliens abducting his wife. The diner's claiming their pies - and only their pies - are getting stolen, and no one knows why. It's as if a perpetually full moon has bloomed over the town.

It's come down to the small police force of maybe 5 - 10 men to cover all of these strange events and get to the bottom of what's happening before the whole town goes to shit.

Now, this will be in a small town, where everyone knows one another and there's a constant stream of gossip. I'd be playing the sheriff, as that's the role I'm really itching to fill right now. Your character could be just about anything you want! A newcomer, who stirs up trouble and causes the townsfolk to become suspicious, maybe they assume all this trouble started when they moved into town. Or a reporter, who has to work with the sheriff to cover what's happening, and they both become a cliche crime-fighting duo! Or, they could really be anything, it's up to you!

As far as the crimes, and the mini-plots, we'd both be playing any side characters and NPC's as needed. And for the crimes themselves, I am totally up to including anything! Want the circle of hell to open up and some freaky demon shit to happen? Sure! Want werewolves, witches, or vampires? Wonderful! I want the crimes to start out slow though, I want this to be a long-term roleplay that's a slow burn. I don't want to drop right into a serial killer plot, you know? I want to work from "hey this is weird," to "holy shit he head is missin'".

And genres, I don't mind if there's no romance, but I won't say no to it! Y'all know I'm a sucker for it, so just in case, I do MxF and MxM only, with me playing the dom male. I'll play chicks, but only as a side character. It'll be modern, so in the current time, or any time in the last ten years will work for me! Obviously, this roleplay will be 18+ and only run in PMs. I only do face claims and prefer that my partner do as well, but realistically drawn will also suffice. Character sheets and an in-depth backstory aren't required, as this will be very mystery-heavy!

This is one of my more disorganized plots, but I'm very excited about it!

First things first: this roleplay will consist of a lot of adult themes, dark themes, and so on and so forth. Also, badly written politics, because I don't know the first thing about politics. If you're looking for a serious nation-based, politic-heavy plot, I'm not your gal. That said, I do want to try and better myself on my flaws, but politics get boring in my opinion when dragged out too long. Sooo... take that as you will. 🤷‍♀️

And second: I'm looking for an active partner who can get out some quick-fire posts. I'm looking for super casual right now but they can certainly get lengthy as well, depending on the situation. 2 - 3 paragraphs is my ideal right now. That doesn't mean I wanna skimp out on quality though!

Another interest check for Rekkein! Only this time, I'm chucking a lot of my lore out the window and starting more from scratch. This is a plot I've done many years ago, and the idea has stuck with me so much that I wanna try it again.

Your character is the prince or princess (Rekkein is into men as well!) who is scheduled to marry the prince/princess of another nation. Before the wedding, a grand ball is held to celebrate, as well as to invite political figures to cement more of a safe rule for this Kingdom. Many come as a show of good faith, bringing expensive, perhaps rare gifts as presents for the happy couple, Rekkein included. He is an ambassador for the dragon Kingdom, whose alliance will prove to be of great worth if a time of war ever breaks out. 

So, he's there for the party - everyone is, mingling and dancing when all of a sudden all hell breaks loose. The kingdom's princess/prince has been assassinated! The ballroom is swarming with big, scary burly men, looking to take hostages, or just to kill for fun. They want your character, but they have been talking to Rekkein and are standing basically behind them, who in turn protects them.

They can't do much to help with the slaughter, so instead the dragon and prince/ss flee from the castle and make a run for it, Rekkein now serving as an impromptu bodyguard as they try to figure out just what to do. Neither knows the surrounding town, and your character is so far from home that there's no way to return. The castle has been taken over by the general of an army, a bandit leader, whoever we decide, and there's a bounty out on our character's heads, as all the members of the royal family are now dead, and the kingdom under the hands of a ruthless leader.

This is a pretty rough, choppy plot, but we can flesh it out more in PMs!

In the case of Rekkein's ability to shift into a massive dragon, I'm going to *disable* it for this roleplay, as that would simply be too OP in defeating armies, and he's already got the use of fire magic on his side. So, for all intents and purposes, assume there is a race of people who have scales littering their body, horns, sharp teeth, and claws and have the ability to use magic. We can discuss the finer points of magic use in detail if you'd like, as I don't want to make him too powerful.

Now whether or not this turns into a romance, adventure, whatever is up for discussion. I love romance in all of my writings, but if the prince/ss you play was actually in love with their to-be spouse then that makes things tricky. Sooo, just let me know your limits, preferences, whatever else you may think is important, mmkay?

Rekkein is a tall bloke standing at 7'3 with his curled horns adding an additional 3-inches. His eyes are normally a deep shade of brown, though when angry or of a high emotional state, they have been known to faintly glow with fire. His muscular body is littered with scars, tattoos, and the black scales that outline his body, small patches appearing randomly on his chest, back, arms, and anywhere else. He has a small cluster of tiny scales under his left eye. Rekkein has four sharp fangs on the top row of his teeth, but only one set to accompany them on the bottom, as well as sharp nails on the ends of his fingers.

Rekkein has a great understanding of fire and can control it on a whim with little effort on his part. His fire can be particularly destructive when he is angry. Slice of life, mystery, dark, romance, drama - present day
The second idea is more X-Files, though Supernatural would also be a good comparison. I've seen more X-Files than Supernatural, so please don't take me for any knowledge. That said, this isn't fandom!!! I want an original world, with original characters, but the same concept of two people hunting aliens, the occult, weird shit through the states, or anywhere else we wanna stick them. I absolutely have no ideas for this one, so this is more of a discussion plot, but I've been wanting to do this one a lot lately.

Your girl's at it again. This time, I don't have much in the way of plots, just two ideas I think could be fun with a large cast of characters and enough drama to last a lifetime. I do have some preferences, or call them requirements if you will, simply because I have had too much trouble with roleplays as of late. 

I'm looking for someone active who can get a few posts out throughout the week. I myself, I can post at least once a day to every other day, or multiple times a day given the circumstances.

I am seeking shorter replies, something more casual about 3 - 4 paragraphs. Since I'm looking for multiple characters, the length may differ depending on what is going on. I can write a novel if need be, but I want more snappy storytelling. 😂

I need ya to be 18+, as my plots always include adult themes, and some can be quite dark. I am smut friendly, as well fade-to-black friendly. Just let me know your preferences.

Romance is generally a must, and I tend to prefer male characters over females, so my 'main' will always be male. I have no trouble playing multiple girls as side characters though. That said, my favorite pairing is MxM, but I will also dabble in MxF for the main pairing. Any FxF will be side character only, as it's not my favorite, but I'm not about to limit creativity.

I know this goes without saying, but please do not show an interest and then dip out! Or start a roleplay with me and then vanish. Trust me, I know life happens, shit gets rough, but let me know! I am more than happy to wait, as long as you let me know.

With all the formalities out of the way, time for the plots! I have two, and I am only looking for one partner per idea at this time.

Slice of life, romance, drama, fluff - present day
One idea is a simple slice of life, as I've been craving something to do with high school kids and maybe following them into college, and life after that. I have nothing more than a cliche idea of one of the characters being new to town, and the other being a sort of 'bad boy' type character. This is all up for discussion, so let me know! This is certainly something I really wanna do with multiple characters and explore multiple stories within the world.

So, this is definitely far out of my league, but I have been itching to write more out of my comfort zone, and for some reason, this is an idea I haven't gotten out of my head for the past week or so since I started playing Starbound again, lmfao.

Basically, I wanna be stranded out in space with someone. I'm not much for sci-fi despite loving the genre, it's just not something I ever really wrote before, with all the do-dads and beepy lights. I wanna change that though, and what better way!

If you haven't heard of or played Starbound before, it's what I'm basing this roleplay on. Earth has been destroyed, and a few survivors have barely escaped on crippled ships, stranded out in the middle of nowhere and barely getting to the nearest planet that may have supplies, or at least the starting point to get their ship back up and running and so far. General plot, but we can expand on it from there, or just rip straight from Starbound. I have no problems with this one being a fandom, since it's so open-ended anyway with no real canon besides for the lore, and it might actually work in my favor to just call this a fandom since I'm so unfamiliar with the genre.

That said, I also have no problem with changing things up or just winging it, with some premise to guide me on.

Onto other things, as I do with every single roleplay, I'd like there to be some romance, if even on the backburner. I figure that our two characters will have gotten separated from their original groups and are stuck together for some time, and y'know, loneliness is a thing. Of course, they can always pick up more crew later on, but I'm a sucker for romance. Sue me. With that, I normally play males, so I'd like to keep it that way. I'm thinking of a security officer as far as his backstory.

What I expect from my partner isn't much. Communication, OOC, reliability, that sort of thing. Talk to me, I love to make new friends, and I'd like that you keep me in the loop if it's gonna be a while between posts. I don't mind waiting, but I hate the feeling that I have been ghosted when in reality I haven't. And speaking of ghosting; just don't. I've had far too many people abandon me, and if you're ghost-prone, it's better to avoid me, tbh. I don't expect daily posts, though they are always welcome - a few posts a week is enough in my opinion. 

Obviously, I ask that you're 18+, due to the nature of this roleplay. Starbound itself is a lighthearted game, but I imagine it wouldn't stay as such in a roleplay format with death, violence, gore, etc, etc. It's gonna be brutal. I wanna have my character fight for his life. Aside from that, smut is welcome but not required, I am fade-to-black friendly, and I have no limits that I know of, but y'now, it's the internet. Shit happens.

So, this idea is pretty straightforward, but I want a super fluffy, super cute romance between an English teacher and the coach of the football/wrestling/whatever sport you feel like. Before I begin with the plot, this will be MxM, and I don't want to fade-to-black for any smut scenes that may happen, so please be comfortable with 18+ themes, some hella cute gay boys, and writing out smut. I don't want smut to be all the time 100%, I do want it to make sense for the story, but I want them so much. <3

Julian Thompson is the new English teacher at Pinewood High and new to the area altogether, he's quiet and extremely private, but he's animated about teaching and can become quite the opposite of his normal personality when lost in reading a book. However, it's mostly nerves from moving to a new town and starting over from scratch. His past is an enigma and he doesn't share much with those around him. His students like him, and he's liked well enough by the other teachers, but the coach has seemed to take an especial liking to him.

Your character is the coach, who's perhaps lived in the small town all his life and is a pillar of the community. He can be the coach for football, hockey, wrestling, whatever you decide, but I want him to have a nice strong personality, be more carefree and open, and help drag my guy out of his shell. 

Bonus points if the town is small enough that being gay is perhaps frowned upon. Extra bonus points if one of the guys doesn't realize they're gay - I want to navigate some drama and angst and a whole slew of emotions from these two. <3

This story will take place at the beginning of a new school year, where Julian has just moved in over the summer and this is really the first time anyone's laying eyes upon him, short of his visits to the grocer or to the local bookstore. He hasn't made it a point to get to know people and keeps that same mentality starting the school - though he will always make time for his students, and it's about the only time he will make an effort to get to know people. He's got a mysterious past, and of course, bored soccer moms can't help but gossip.

Now onto the fewer fun bits, my requirements for a partner. More rough guidelines, but y'know, they need to be put out there. Please be 18+! This RP will most certainly happen in PMs and I don't want any awkwardness. So, this is going to be something different from my norm, since I actually wanna play the female lead in this roleplay, while my partner takes the role of the strong male lead. Weird for me, I know, but it's something I wanna do, aha.

Your character owns a strip club, maybe a few bars or nightclubs as well, but his main place is always the strip club, where my character works as a dancer. The businesses are mainly a front for whatever he does behind the scenes, be it run a gang, mafia, mob, or just be an independent contractor that can get people most things off the black market, that is entirely up to you. My character is just a college girl trying to make ends meet, and discovered that dancing on the stage at night will pay the bills. It's not perfect, but anything to get to the end of her degree and enter her dream job. 

One night, he takes the fancy of my girl as she's up dancing, and treats her to a night of drinks - something different from the norm of working all night. One thing leads to another and they end up back at his apartment, sharing a night together.

After that, life goes back to normal. She sees him around but knows it was nothing more than a night to blow off some steam. He doesn't take much notice of her, perhaps giving her a small smile or a nod as he passes her, or lingers for a bit to watch her dance, but keeps to himself. A few weeks pass, and as is the typical trope, I'd like for her to discover she's pregnant. This is where there are a few options, whether she keeps the baby, puts it up for adoption, there's some grand trope of the two falling in love, or she miscarries. Don't get me wrong, I want there to be a romance between these two characters, but I don't want it to be instant just because she's gotten knocked up.

That said, I do want one scene in particular where after she discovers she's pregnant, she's still working the stage because right now it doesn't matter - right? One of the guys gets a little too handsy, a little too frisky and when she tries to pull away, ends up getting attacked by the pissed-wasted guy, maybe punched in the face or something. Security will get the guy off her, kicked out of the building and she'll be moved to the dressing rooms. Your guy can come to check up, since security would have notified him and maybe overhears my character and some of the other girls talking about how stupid she is that she was even working while pregnant, risking herself like this.

So, I've just rewatched the Pirates of the Caribbean movies for the umpteenth time, and now I'm suddenly itching for a roleplay set in the same universe. Not necessarily something fandom-based, but also I wouldn't be entirely opposed to using canon characters, with, of course, our main characters being original. I love the goofiness and absurdity of the world, as well as the fantasy aspects with the mermaids, supernatural beings, and all that encompasses it. Added on top of it, I would also like to add some more serious notes and grim themes, simply because I think it would be fun to have both some heartache amongst the laughter. 

I... honestly don't have much of a plot in mind, aside from one of our characters obviously being a pirate (captain or first mate) with the other being a rival pirate that has been taken hostage, a soldier from the British navy, or maybe even a stowaway! I'm open to suggestions, and ideas. That all said, I think I'm leaning more towards a M x M pairing, because obviously I am a slut for romance and I need it in everything I touch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I can be persuaded to do M x F with a compelling argument, but I do have to warn that I main males like my life depends on it, and I rarely take the role of the girl. But, as always, I can be possibly convinced with a compelling idea if you have one, I'm not entirely unreasonable.

Due to the nature of the roleplay, with mature themes of dark, grittiness, as well as the romance aspect, I require my partner to be 18+ and comfortable with most themes. I can write out smutty scenes, as well as fade-to-black, it depends on the plot of the story or my partner's preference, but I do enjoy a good hearty dose of smut in my stuff. I'm 25 myself, so no worries here. Obviously, this means PM roleplays.

I don't require much in the way of partners, aside from good communication and somewhat active replies. Once or twice a week is all I really ask, but I will always be more than happy with more. For character sheets, I only accept written descriptions, real face claims, or realistic drawings for the character appearance, but from there, it can be as empty as you desire - I don't do much for my own character sheets besides for name, age, and anything of importance.
