Dulga Tarata

Walking back to the dorms was uneventful for Dulga. She garnered only a few stares, hearing curious whispers about a tall school girl wearing a cloak. Little did they know that the cloak was the "normal" part of her usual attire, and the uniform is only something she has to wear due to school rules. Upon reaching the dorms she could see that there were many students milling about, mostly around the kitchen. Going to the notice board she could see that her dorm mate would be Kaida. Dulga had hoped it would've been Mina, but Kaida was a good choice too. She didn't seem like a bad person, though Dulga's face did grow a bit grim. "I bet she's angry at me. I need to talk to her." Dulga continued towards the dorm and noticed that it was open. As she approached she heard Kaida scream and ran inside, ready to bash the interloper.

What Dulga saw however just made her annoyed instead of angry. There wasn't really a puzzle to solve; she could see that Mamoru was here with Luelle, who was dressed up in a rather ridiculously cute outfit. Kaida was still in her uniform but looked surprised. So Dulga could guess that Mamoru, being the type of girl she is, had played dress up with Luelle and tried to get Kaida to join them. But being who she was Kaida didn't want to. And Mamoru being who she is didn't take no as an answer. So for her troubles Mamoru got tossed. Face palming Dulga walked into the room and dropped off her several gun cases onto her bed before turning to Kaida. She looked like a cornered animal. Moving to her Dulga hid the poor girl in her cloak, hugging her close with her six arms. Then Dulga turned to face Mamoru and Luelle. "I apologize for this but could you give us some privacy? We need a moment."

Oh. I suppose I do deserve that don't I? I'm sorry. If I'm out I won't argue with it, I can't say I've done my part as I should have. Like I've said before you've been too kind to be as it is. If you're willing to give me a chance I can post today, but I understand if, because my previous record with you so far, you'd rather not have me.

Dulga gently put a hand on Mako's hand around her wrist, pulling it off. She bowed her head and headed towards the door. But before she left Dulga had a few things to say. "How many have to die before he's stopped? How long do you think I have before he comes here seeking a challenge? You know it as well as I do that he seeks the strongest, and Komei has it. You can hope that he never comes here. I will be ready for him." Dulga left Mako's room without another word, heading straight to her father's home. She needed to get things from there. With information about Kansai, Dulga needed to gather weapons. No more worry about rules and laws. Now only training and preparation. She needs more guns.

It was a long walk from the school to her home. Her father, ever the hermit, made sure that anyone who'd want to visit him would have to go by foot. He lived far away from any trams, and the apartment he was in had roads too narrow for cars. Even walking wasn't going to be easy as he lived in a maze of a neighborhood. You'll sooner end up in Tokyo than find his home. And it wasn't just because her father was paranoid; he just liked the complexity. Perhaps this was why he was so good at making weapons as he enjoyed the challenge of creating complex things even if they looked simple on the outside. And it was likely the reason why he felt so depressed after the lost of the Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, since he'll never be able to think up of anything greater than that. Even if other dismiss it as simply a blade, to her father that sword was more than a blade. It was part of who he was. Dulga still felt a seething anger at Mako, knowing that she was the one who had stolen it.

Eventually Dulga would arrive to her father's apartment. It was a small but secure place, relying both on it's unassuming appearance and advanced security system to prevent common thieves from breaking in. Though Dulga was certain that anyone who actually knew about this place could plan ahead and rob it blind. But Dulga wouldn't allow them to take anything, not before her. Entering the apartment it was dark and smelled stale. It was immaculately clean, as her father often liked. There wasn't even a speck of dust, yet it also was completely devoid of life. She immediately went over to her room. Much like the rest of the apartment it was empty, more so since Dulga had removed all her belongings form there. All but a few. Underneath Dulga's bed was a secret compartment, hidden underneath even the carpet. Moving the bed out of the way Dulga accessed the safe and inside was her mother's veritable armory; a huge cache of guns, more than what a single woman would need. But for Dulga she wondered if it would be enough. "I'll make it work."

Packing the guns into a large black plastic case, not unlike the one her other two guns are in, Dulga put her bed back and left a note for her father mentioning that she had stopped by. With her mother's guns with her Dulga walked back from her apartment to the dormitory. She still needed to decorate her room, not to mention do her homework. So many pointless little things, but if she wanted to be ready to fight Kensai, she needed to be here at Komei. If only the school understood this and would let her do what she had to, instead of distracted her with all this teenage angst.

Dulga listened to Mako tell her what she knew. The man, her mother's killer, was a man named Kensai. Sword Saint. Dulga's eyes narrowed at this name. He was no saint and for someone who wanted to become a great swordsman, what business did he have to go after her father? he was strong, certainly, but he was no warrior. Not by choice. None of this made sense. But then Mako said that she had met him before while she was still a thief. Then things started to fall together. Dulga had already come to a conclusion by the time Mako had finished speaking, and Dulga looked furious. All that Dulga needed to confirm it was when Mako said she had stolen a sword. That damn sword that started all of this. "You... You're the one who stole the Murakumo-no-Tsurugi? My father's masterpiece!?" Dulga's voice rose as she took steps towards Mako.

In a moment of weakness Dulga slammed her four fists into Mako's desk, breaking through the table. She didn't seem to care. "My father has known nothing but shame since that sword was stolen! His pride and joy, the best thing he's ever made, and you're the one who stole it!? Worse still you left it in the hands of a madman who has killed countless heroes, including... Including my mother..." Dulga went through so many emotions at this moment. Confusion, anger, sadness, just to name a few. Dulga covered her face as she started to cry. She tried to stop but all of these pent up emotions were just too much for her to handle. Ever since her mother died Dulga had just.... Stopped feeling. Emotions ebbed and flow around her. Even when she felt annoyed or embarrassed they were always just faked, because she felt she was suppose to do something. That was what her mother taught her. But hearing about Kensai and knowing Mako's involvement in all of it, there was a certain relief in Dulga that she couldn't beleive.

She was getting closer to achieving vengeance.

"I need to know everything. Why was he after my father's sword? What do you know about who he is, how he fights? Do you know where he's at right now? Who does he have as allies? What are his quriks and abilities?" Tears were still streaming down Dulga's face. She was so close now. Dulga can't let this chance slip out of her fingers.

Dulga had stayed after class to help Mako clean up, even getting brooms and mops to clean up the crushed chalk and coffee stains. Mako's words about Dulga's ability to get under her enemy's skin made her feel just a little bit better. Admittedly Dulga wasn't really too good at the "socializing" thing, as she always worried that she'd somehow annoy people just by the way she talks. But Dulga supposed that if she could goad villains into making mistakes because of it, she'd try to hone that skill. Somehow. Her face even grew a touch pink and a little bit warmer when she heard Mako call her one of the top students of her class. Compliments wasn't something that Dulga got a lot, at least not serious ones. Even her own parents tend to only give her reports about her abilities about things like her mistakes and flaws. The closest thing to a compliment she's really received was with her mother, when she would say things like "Good shot" or "Nice hit". It was a good feeling.

Dulga would be the last student to leave Mako's class, staying behind with the teacher. Dulga did get her own things ready to go but before she left she looked towards the thief. Once more Dulga's expression returned to their neutral state, but her eyes had a hint of fire. There was still one unfinished piece of business she had to attend to. Dulga didn't waste words. "Do you know about the swordsman who killed my mother?" Dulga couldn't be certain if that question on Mako's quiz was just a coincidence or purposely put down there to tell Dulga something. Unconsciously to even Dulga, it was that question that made her act rather aggressively to Mako. It made her think that somehow Mako was an accomplice or at least knew more than what Dulga knew about the situation. She had no proof of course, and that was perhaps one of those few moments were Dulga's own emotions undermine the girl and influences her decision without being obvious.

"I'm not angry at you. But I do have questions. Please answer them." Dulga had unconsciously positioned herself in front of the door. It was just a hunter's instinct when stalking prey; block the exits. And while Mako could always just dive out of the window, the teacher should know very well how Dulga deals with windows and people near them. "As a teacher of Villain Psyche, and a former villain yourself, I know you know who I'm talking about. I... I need to know more about him."

Even with all of Dulga's planning she had no control of outside forces. She knew that her plan wasn't fool proof either. She could easily see Mako avoiding all of her attacks, and frankly Dulga actually had to rely on some of the other students holding her down just so Dulga could get a hit in. But the one who managed to finally keep Mako in place was none other than Roy. The boy who had gotten defeated by Mina. Probably one of the few boys in class that Dulga didn't have a negative opinion on, and he seemed to be much more competent that his battle had shown. Even if he didn't move until all of this had happened, Dulga couldn't fault him for doing the smart thing and staying out of her way. With Mako stopped Dulga stood just a few feet away from her teacher. Rising her hand towards Mako, Dulga shaped it into a gun, cocking the imaginary hammer back. "Bang."

It seemed like the lesson was over. Mako complimented Dulga for her strategies, even though Dulga only managed to splash Mako with her coffee. That being said, she, Yoshiro, and Roy would all get detention. Dulga especially, not only for attacking Mako, but also throwing two students out of the window and reading confidential school papers. Normally Dulga would object, however upon mentioning the latter charges Dulga kept her tongue still. True she felt rather annoyed that Mako had essentially tricked them into getting into trouble. However it was entirely of Dulga's own initiative to throw students out of the class and to steal a glance at the student papers. She'd serve her time. "Yes sensei." Wiping the dust off her hands and cloak Dulga helped move a few desks back. When Tomoe decided to get a sneak attack on Mako the tall girl signed and went over to Tomoe. "Stop that. Lesson's over. Unless you want trouble." Dulga reached out to pull Tomoe off Mako so that she could get to work getting her things back together. Looking at the thermos on the floor Dulga also picked that up with an extra hand and looked slightly flustered. "Sorry about the Thermos."

@Gordian Nought Sounds good to me, though how would you communicate this with the group? Should I roll Handle Animal to get an idea of what Brannor is trying to communicate?

Just as Dulga expected Kaida went after Dulga as she read her paper. She debated trying to dodge Kaida or maybe even counter her, but as she saw Mako moving towards her Dulga decided to take advantage of it. She stood steadfast as Kaida ran into her and took the papers out of her hands, freeing up Dulga’s hands. ”Sorry. I'll make it up for you later.” It wasn't long after that Mako landed next to the six-armed giantess looking very annoyed. It was a hostile look; an intimidating one. Not like a bear's roar or a wolf’s howl, but the scold and steady Eyes of a killer. Reminded Dulga a lot of her mother.

Before Dulga could react Kenichi went into the attack, calling out his move and warning the others to run. This just got a blank stare from Dulga. ”You say run.” Mako grabbed the thermos and it started to heat up. It actually hurt quite badly and Dulga was about to drop it. However always one to take advantage of every opportunity no matter the cost Dulga gritted her teeth through the pain.

With her monstrous strength Dulga snapped the thermos in half with just a single hand. Dulga then tossed a cloud of chalk at Mako to hide her movements. The space between them soon became cloudy and white, making it difficult to see anything for just a moment. But that moment was all Dulga needed as she splashed Mako with the coffee from her thermos, as well as throwing away the hot piece of metal. While the cloud was still up Dulga charged forward, even with Kaida in tow. One hand was sent outstretched to strike at Mako if she was ahead. But the others went in different directions to intercept Mako if she tried to maneuver around Dulga. To the sides, above, even below between Dulga’s legs. And if Mako had jumped back, she'd find another surprise when her coffee cup, still full of cold coffee, was flung straight ahead of Dulga. In these narrow student desks there weren't many other places for the teacher to go without trying to hop onto a desk.

Mako met Dulga's challenge, though the six-armed giant was well aware that Mako may have already seen through her intentions. But Dulga would just have to take advantage of every little thing she can, from the surroundings to what other students too. And most importantly how Mako would react to Dulga. Maybe even some real nasty plots if she wants a chance to land a hit on Mako. Dulga continued to stare down her teacher as their glares meeting one another. Mako seemed eager to play but Dulga's eyes were plain and stoic. To her there was no joy or excitement for what she's about to do. Unlike some others, Dulga radiated no "killing intent". She simply acts like an unfeeling machine. When Yukari threw Mamoru at Mako, that was when Dulga acted.

First thing she did was grab a handful of chalk from the front of the class with her rear hands. As she hide them inside her cloak Dulga crushed them into a fine powder but didn't use them just yet. Dulga took a step towards Mako's, grabbing the coffee, thermos, and a few of the papers some of the other students had written. Dulga never took her eyes off Mako as she used her multiple hands to not only drink the teacher's coffee, but also flip through some of the papers that the other students had written about how they'd react in Mako's questions. She just glanced through the papers from the corner of her eyes, walking back towards the student desks. When she spotted the one she wanted Dulga stopped and took a big sip from Mako's coffee.

Dulga held a paper out for everyone to see, at least anyone close enough to read it. But especially close enough for Mako to recognize it. It was Kaida's paper. Hearing that Kaida for some reason wanted to keep her paper a secret, a secret that Mako obliged, Dulga was going to recite some of it in order to goad Mako into coming after Dulga. Unlike the others Dulga wasn't trying to play defensive, but to make Mako "react" to Dulga's actions. Heroes who just wait for trouble to happen will be too late to stop it. By taking the first strike, Dulga can set up the situation however she wants. As Dulga read off Kaida's paper, she made a note of where Kaida was sitting at in case she reacts. "Kaida Baeumont. Scenario 1. 'I would try to reason reason with the man. Explain that if he harms the woman it would only get worse. Slowly working my way towards them. Explain more that he puts the weapon down and walks away I would put in a good word with the judge. Also offer to be his hostage.'" Said in an entirely stony demeanor. Dulga just kept a gaze upon Mako to see her reaction. Dulga also drank the rest of Mako's hot coffee and was surprised when she tasted the cold coffee in Mako's thermos. "You have poor taste sensei."

"Oh what the hell!" Navera screamed when the Halion pointed her blade at her. Sure, Navera was mostly lying, but this was completely unnecessary. Navera was honestly fearful for her life however, since even with her assassination skills, she wasn't going to try to fight this beast in a cramp escape pod. Fortunately it seemed like the other survivors also thought what the Halion was doing was completely foolish too. And she even accused Navera of somehow being the cause of all of this. Navera wouldn't even know how to pull something like that off, even if she could remember how she got here in the first place. "Are you daft or is that just normal for your kind? If I had anything to do with whatever reason we're here, I would have at least made sure not to be in the same pod as a halion barbarian! Your willful ignorance is no substitute for the truth you primitive savage."

Navera made sure to move far away from the Halion as the others saved her from the monster. She was grateful that some could put aside racial tensions to focus more about the issue at hand. Though she was worried about how she was going to deal with the Halion once they do land. No doubt she'll keep trying to kill Navera for whatever poorly explained reason would justify her blood lust. As Navera moved to her seat she could feel her dagger hidden on her person. At least she knew she wasn't completely defenseless, knowing that it was still coated in her paralytic venom. And even if the Halion was submerged in stone, Navera knew how to handle her knife to find an armor's weak spot. Their arrogance in assuming that their armor was impenetrable would only be their downfall when Navera's blade finds her way.

"I don't care where we go, I just want to get out of this deathtrap."
