I’ve worked min wage jobs and I’ve done the bare minimum and have still gotten the measly ten cent raises yearly and good references from them. There really is no point, bare minimum gets you by.

I kind of liked it, I just wish they did more with the aftermath. Seriously, this was a world shattering event. The Pro-Reg side won. Heroes were now supposed to be government agents or they would be incarcerated. And yet, as soon as the event was over, things seemed to go immediately back to normal. By the time the Super Hero Registration Act was repealed at the end of Siege, I had practically forgotten about it.

To be fair, the original Civil War was shit.

There is truth to both of these comments. Yes, they had a pretty swell idea, they just made a fucking horrible attempt at executing it. I mean, Tony Stark, the guy that was supposed to be ye we need to register these heroes, hires a bunch of former villains that killed people? Wut?

What I like about the movie adaption so far is that tony actually seems to stay in character and has a better reason to be pro-reg.
Wow, hostile much. Couldn't just put your two cents nicely Nyt. Well then how many characters do we currently have now xD

It's just that if you don't put this down at the beginning, it just creates an issue later. I myself was guilty of this when I threw an AT-ST with the force once in an rp. Yes I know, it was a pretty fucking horrible idea in hindsight. In star wars rps, I have seen too many characters go down this OP road. It was from personal experience that I decided to be harsh, since leeway in the capability to be OP usually leads to OP.

How someone would know how to make a force storm when Palpatine was the only real recorded user, and his character didn't seem like he had the hatred to be able to conjure up a force storm. It's also a sith method, how jedi outcasts would condone it as well, leads to many issues.

I assumed this rp would be canonical somewhat. If this wasn't the intent, I will gladly leave if it makes people happy. But if you are still willing to have me, I will make a character and try to put this behind us.
<Snipped quote by Nytem4re>

To assume that he had mastered all those just because I only listed them is ignorant. The CS asked for a list, I provided them. No further embellishment was asked for at the time. Not that you're using your common sense.

Okay. I'll just use my common sense and leave. Good luck destiny with the rp.
If it's going to kill the RP, then consider me gone. But for future reference, remember that not every one is going to write out the finite details of the abilities and such. You canon mongers are a pain in the ass though, no imagination at all.

Maybe because a lot of SITH LORDS AND JEDI MASTERS cannot do even half of the stuff your character can do? I am all for imagination but your character would literally would be able to kill anything that could stand in his way. For god's sake, if you can't see why having a 21 year old make a hyperspace wormhole that would tear apart the entire surface of a planet is wrong, then fine. Sorry if I wanted it to be realistic to canon somewhat, but apparently that means I have no imagination. Goodbye, I am sorry Destiny. I will withdraw my interest now.
I fear I may have misinterpreted the power list. Are they the powers he uses or that the Order over all uses?

I think this rp wanted some canon involved, and as far as I am concerned, order of the grey does not exist within star wars canon. Secondly.. Mandalorians hate jedi, so I doubt one would ever become a jedi, though possible, highly unlikely. Secondly you list several force powers for one character who is just 21, who I doubt has really mastered all those force powers. The character seems to have mastered everything several jedi masters/sith lords would be unable to.

Force fire is not a "family power", as it is not limited to your non-canon family.

This is what I see as issues, from my limited knowledge of star wars.

It also seems like the character is turning into a mary sue, where they master every single force power, not taking into account on how long it actually takes to master basic force powers, let alone advanced ones like you say he knows. You might take this the wrong way, but if you can't see why he's not OP I think I will leave with Sep.

Edit:Force Storms are just fucking broken. Go look at the star wars wikia on why a 21 year old shouldn't have that force power.
I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this, but I feel after guildfall I've just lost a lot of motivation/interest. It's not because of the new people coming in, or the old people leaving, it's just.... me.

RP feels very tiring for me at this point. No, I am not writing a page of the finest literary work known to man in my posts, but I've been finding it difficult to write more than 1-2 paragraphs. But I feel I've grown more self conscious of my writing, fearing what others might think. Back then, when my writing was utter bullshit I hardly cared what people thought, but it seems with improvement I've grown this fear of judgement.

I've been lurking more than rping nowadays, which depresses me slightly. I've been trying to find an reason for this, such as my preference for the free section pre guildfall, to guildfall itself, which I've come to realize is a faulty assumption to make.

I suppose I have RP "Fatigue", and I wanted to ask people if taking a break would really make it better or if trying to continue rping is the better option to make. Don't get me wrong, I will always love RPG. Imo no other site compares, but my motivation/interest has waned.

Any advice on how to get past this slump?
It's been a while since I've shown interest for a star wars rp, but if you'd have me I'd be interested in making a Jensaarai.
Grane Blauer

While stealth ops were probably his forte, Grane had to say he disagreed at the moment that they should go stealth, let alone split up. Yes, they may have only one person who could really take damage, but he'd rather take that than the odds of stealthily infiltrating in with no comms. Too much could go wrong. If one half got utterly wiped out, the other half would probably be screwed. The surviving half probably wouldn't even know the other half had been wiped out. Grane doubted any of them knew how to make smoke signals, even more so under combat, and using a heliograph system didn't really seem to be an option.

While Grane had hardly fought against grimm, the sound of a noisy helicopter was sure to get their attention as well. The grimm would most likely be riled up from the deafening sounds of helicopter rotors.

The way Grane saw it- His team was like an airborne unit at the moment. They had similar objectives- take a point with limited firepower and wait for reinforcements. The entire point of an airborne unit was to surprise the enemy in their own backyard, and wipe out opposition before they could mass together and eventually wipe out the smaller force, or at least delay them long enough for reinforcements to arrive.

"Robert, while I'm down to do this mission sneaky beaky like, we just don't have the comms to pull off a successful stealth raid. Yes, we could go in blind and hope nothing goes wrong, but it could. Waiting to grab some radios inside of the fort is not much of a safety net in my opinion, when we don't even know there are working radios there. I would suggest the most direct approach and drop into the middle of the fort. It might disorient the Grimm for a bit, long enough for us to take the base. We can get Delta into a elevated position where he can pick off the rest of the grimm assaulting our position, while we radio for help and hold the fort on the ground. Splitting up our forces with no comms for the first half of the op is not appealing to me. If something happens in that time period, the mission is FUBAR." Grane meant no disrespect, but he felt he needed to give some input before they all agreed on a half baked plan at best.

"That being said, if you feel like stealth is the best opinion, I will respect your choice of strategy." Grane wasn't really interested in the leadership position, nor did he want to start any drama with this new team. If Robert wanted to go ahead with this, fine, he'd follow orders. Didn't mean he had to agree or like them though.
<Snipped quote by Lucius Cypher>

Some female boxer or wrestler or martial artist or something got beat in a fight and they're all fans so they're all... praising the girl who beat her? Usually when someone I'm cheering for loses I get upset but that doesn't seem to be how they're reacting.

Anyway, just saw the new episode of RWBY and One Punch Man. Can't wait for the next episode for both shows.

IMO Ronda (Female MMA Champion) Was overhyped and honestly needed this loss so she could gain some humility. She has been known to boast about her abilities, so it was nice to see her soundly beat and sorta destroy her "invincible" aura.

Then again I was never a fan of hers. Not humble enough and got what she was asking for.
Grane Blauer

"No, Never a mission from Beacon, but I wouldn't say I'm a complete rookie." Then again, Grane had never really fought Grimm, so it would be interesting to see how he would fare against these creatures. At least their mission seemed straightforward enough, evict some grimm out of a fort and make sure their buddies don't bust back in. Nothing too strenuous for his first real engagement with the Grimm. Robert was trying to offer some sort of emotional support, though knowing Robert he was probably trying to mask about how much of a pussy he was. Yes, Grane was probably being extremely harsh and perhaps even a bit assholey, but this kid was going to lead him into combat. A lack of clarity would probably lead to the deaths of the entire team.

Also, remembering that incident in class just made him cringe. It was like a small kitten in a den of lions. But who knows? Maybe combat would change the man. Hopefully before they all got killed. On another note, their newest team member seemed pretty chill. At least better than Robert as far as he could tell, but that wasn't much of an achievement. But enough thinking about his teammates, Grane wanted to reach the fort ASAP. The faster it was taken, the faster the reinforcements could reach them.

"Robert, We gonna move out? I'd rather get this mission over with as quickly as possible."
