I’ve worked min wage jobs and I’ve done the bare minimum and have still gotten the measly ten cent raises yearly and good references from them. There really is no point, bare minimum gets you by.

I couldn't really find a suitable picture for his appearance so I chose the best picture of the ones I found.
Alright posted.

You can assume the raid was an utter failure, and all non-feral vamps are pretty much going to the mandatory meeting at the hotel.

Feral vamps are pretty much free to do whatever, but crashing the so called party later on or perhaps even infiltrating it would be a good idea.

Where had it all gone wrong, Elijah wondered. The hunters and their vampire allies had attempted to raid the club where supposed ferals were, and at the end of it, they hadn't killed/captured anyone, and the rookie had died in combat. Not that he hadn't predicted it, but Elijah was hoping the kid would have proven him wrong this time. The ferals knew the society and hunters were onto them, so the element of surprise was now gone.

Octavius, in the wake of the failed raid, had ordered a mandatory meeting of all local vampires. This was no longer something a small inner circle could deal with. The meeting was to occur at the Four Seasons Hotel, as Octavius insisted on it. The Four Seasons Hotel was a posh, elegant hotel, usually reserved for Chicago's richest. Elijah's disheveled appearance did cause hotel security to confront him and ask if he was lost, but Octavius's invitation to a supposed extravagant party quickly dispelled any of their notions of kicking him out.

While he did hate the smug bastard, Elijah had to admit Octavius did know how to pick a place for a meeting. The hotel felt more like a mansion, with a beautiful interior and servants at his beck and call.

It seemed he was the first guest there, and Elijah ate some pastries as he waited for the meeting to commence.
@Nytem4re That's pretty cool, actually. How would the commanding officer know about vampires though?

I had a few ideas in mine. The best one I can think of atm is that the officer was actually attempting to recruit/hire gurkhas to operate as vampire hunters, the officer being a hunter himself. The officer could have approached my character, proved the existence of vampires, and convinced him to go to London and combat the threat.
Yeah, I'll work on that timeskip and try and get it posted asap.

@Nytem4re Depends on your backstory. Tell me what you have in mind and I'll tell you know if it's plausible.

I was possibly thinking of playing a Gurkha who had found out about vampires by a British commanding officer. Ultimately this officer sends him to London, something along the lines of that.
A question, if I make a vampire hunter, what would I be limited to in terms of knowledge and firepower?

Alright, Me and a few other gms can post a timeskip to get this going again, but honestly I want to see who's left and who's dropped and see if we can even continue.

If there is still interest I will obviously post. And being the most active of the gms in the future I will look into posting more frequently to advance plot, again, if there is still interest.
I'm gonna have to drop out of this roleplay. I've lost interest due to the massively slow pacing the hunters have been dealing with. Sorry.

It's alright.

I think I'll go ahead and start posting stuff to try and save it a bit. A lot of the other gms are busy, so it looks like I'll have to do it.

What if we had some reason to bring everyone in the same area, to give a chance to interact with other people? Like a Vampire Holiday Festival...thing?

Yes we could, but not sure how many players are still here. Honestly, if it comes down to it I'll start controlling some of the gm's characters to push it along.

I'd be interested in this possibly, as a human.
