I’ve worked min wage jobs and I’ve done the bare minimum and have still gotten the measly ten cent raises yearly and good references from them. There really is no point, bare minimum gets you by.

@Nytem4re probably not but you could try to keep them in mind. There's also my character whose still in the cabaret who I haven't written a reaction post yet. Locke should know she's connected to Lyla, the girl that was kidnapped so you could start with questioning her

I'll prob do this.

It'll also tip off neko sensei's character that Locke is probably the man he is looking for.
With how fast all the vamps are going, would it even be possible for locke to follow?
@lovely complex

Not too entirely important but I was wondering if you had a specific date the rp occurs in. If you don't that's fine, just wondering.

"Yes, you could say I have a master of sorts." An officer ordering him to things was pretty much a master, except generally Locke chose whether to follow those orders. He hadn't seen a reason not to, as his orders were just and noble. Greg led him to a tall male and a woman with considerable assets, and seeing how the woman seemed to be questioning the man about Lyla, Locke assumed this was Greg's master. However, before he could even say anything about the matter, another man interrupted the conversation. Really, it seemed nothing could go the way Locke expected.

"Would like join eating prime rib? Lyla is little girl who gets lost. After food, I find her. Come if like, or stay with Greg."

Eating food while a young girl was out on the streets, who could possibly be kidnapped at any moment, seemed idiotic to Locke, though the British hadn't really shown much wit to begin with. But that woman and Greg seemed to be his best bet at finding Lyla, and possibly answers to that branding of hers, seeing how they knew her best.

"I graciously accept your invitation.. Madame."

Locke entered the Cabaret Voltaire, only to find there was a slave bidding of sorts. The British did indeed love their slaves, despite their so called civilized society. And they were bidding on... Ms.Lyla. How the girl got herself into this predicament would have to be a question for later. Locke would have to act before money exchanged hands, as money seemed to be another thing the British obsessed over, and fighting them over it was something he wanted to avoid.

"I hate to interrupt your bidding war, but that girl up there is not yours to sell."
I'll get something up today.

It had not even been a minute outside when Locke was met with a female barreling down towards him. Surprisingly he hadn't been disoriented at all, the impact was as if a small pebble was thrown into him. Locke dusted himself off while the female stared at him, probably out of wonder why such a man of a foreign land was in London. Or out of fear of why a "savage" was roaming the streets of London. It wouldn't be the first time someone had stared at him like that, but, in her defense, Locke did stare at her a bit too. While her hay colored hair or azure eyes were enough to gawk at, a strange symbol on the right side of her neck interested him more than her beauty.

A tattoo maybe? Or a branding. Locke thought it was probably a branding. Locke doubted it was a tattoo, because he had never seen any British females have anything of the sort. The British were known to practice prisoner and slave branding. It might also be why she was in such a hurry, but perhaps he was jumping to conclusions too quickly. Locke was about to follow her when a man walked up to him and promptly stared with such concentration the man did not even bother to hide the drool coming out of his mouth.

"Little Lyla came here, dark man?"

Lyla was probably the woman with the strange symbol. It might also possibly be why she was in such a hurry, to get away from this man. However, Locke could probably convince this man to allow him to talk to her a bit in private if Locke helped the man out.

"Ah yes. I assume Lyla has hay colored hair and azure eyes? She we-

"Greg likes dark man. Reminds me of dark beer. I bring you to my lady as new friend."

Greg walked off into the direction Lyla had gone, despite Locke not having told him of the direction she had gone. Perhaps a lucky guess? Locke followed Greg, not quite too sure what to make of his comments. Perhaps that was the strange way the British complimented each other, and if so, Locke would have to thank him for his kind words somewhere down the line. It was not often when his looks brought about positive thinking among the British. Locke quickly followed behind Greg, hoping to find some answers.
@Viciousmarrow

Where exactly is the symbol on Lyla's body? Not sure if you ever specified where it was.

...

That was literally the entire point of asking.

That it was an equal logical fallacy, intended to show you how ridiculous asking for that evidence was.

Clearly the message was lost.

Gee, I'm sorry I couldn't detect sarcasm over the internet. God.

And because it's not scientifically possible yet doesn't mean it can't be. There's plenty scientists once thought impossible, so I really don't see the point.
<Snipped quote by Nytem4re>

You could. It'd be as much of a logical fallacy as asking for evidence that scientifically cannot exist yet was, though.

Isn't that the same thing you did though? What evidence states that a fusion reactor must act this way, despite any safety measures put in place by the inventors?
<Snipped quote by Nytem4re>

Show me a self-sustaining nuclear fusion reactor for them to be able to make any claims off of. Then I'll actually deign to respond to this.

Also, fusion not fission.

I meant fusion. Spell check thing.

And by that logic I can say show me a nuclear fusion reactor that reacts from a breach that way even with failsafes.
