I just hate how they brought them back and had them begin acting even more out of character than their grown up opposites. And if they REALLY needed to make a founding X-Man gay, I'm sorry but to me it would've been Beast. He's had virtually no relationships in the comics as far as I can remember, and it would've made much more sense than making one of the biggest playboys on the team secretly gay.

I will say I like what I've seen of young Warren now with the cosmically altered wings since Black Vortex happened, but young Scott just seems as annoying as old Scott was twenty years ago. Making adult Cyclops a wild card was brilliant, he was just one of the casualties in making the Inhumans seem important.

Mainstream Wolverine was killed to stiff Fox out of any new material to use in their films and replaced with Old Man Logan and X-23 as a female Wolverine to steer the films in different directions. For me, it's like they're TRYING to make the X-Men less appealing. A young Wolvie would've been great because it's never been done, closest thing was Ult. Wolverine and he was pretty well liked. Imagine Young Man Logan in a confrontation with a now older son, Daken! Or being mentored by Sabretooth.

And when I saw this image, I knew Marvel's priorities were all to shit. It's the BSG Apollo/Starbuck fiasco all over again....

The Legion of Superheroes RETURN

Awesome, *most* of the whole gang is here. I had an AMAZING idea to make this continuity truly stand out... but you guys are gonna have to wait till a Legion member of the team's past returns to see what I've got in store.

In the comics, if anybody here is familiar with the comics, a recent storyline called Legion of Three Worlds had the most popular versions of the characters interact with one another. From three different Earth's in the Multiverse. That story is about the level of awesome I hope to achieve with this new twist. Get ready for a shocker guys and gals.

The Legion of Superheroes RETURN

K let's see, I still need to make Maxima's stat card... we need to get to the missing recruits, BTW did you guys see the hints about an enemy stalking us when Maxima touched down? Dropped a few clues, I think @Damo021 is the only one who knows who the enemy will be. Storywise his/her Tamaranian character will be one of the recruits who was captured, but Starbolt will have been blindfolded with a black cloth over her head.

Show of hands who's still here? Haven't heard from @Weird Tales in awhile, I know I've already written Hawk and Bolt out, but what about everyone else? @Gisk @rocketrobie2 @Drewvonawesome @bluetommy2 ? With Maxima and Ultra Boy it gives us a 6 person squad, if Damo returns we'll be back at 7.

@Weird Tales I think I wrote in my last post you were lost in the sea of Multiplus clones but you could still come in and deal the final blow if you want as he only has 1 hp ATM.

Damn, and I'm just seeing this! Sucks though @Demon Shinobi. I'm still pretty psyched about the upcoming film, though I'm worried we won't see an actual Green Ranger in them...

The Legion of Superheroes RETURN

Cosmic Boy, Ferro Lad, and the new Ultra Boy were all at HQ in one place or the other. Cosmic Boy was still going over automatic ring logs for the missing recruits, trying to triangulate where they might have went offline. There were three or four holo-screens in front of him, still confined to his chair. It looked as if he hadn't been getting enough sleep. There HAD to be a link in their disappearances if they were all already in Metropolis when their rings went dead. Somebody was targeting the team right down to the noobs. However no foreign tech was detected, so Brainiac 5 was mostly ruled out.

Glancing back over at footage of the battle in Old Bludhaven, it looked as if Momentum had got the injured heroes to safety and EMS crews. Hawk, Superforce, and Bolt were all hurt pretty badly and in the case of Bolt she was completely drained of power after the assault on the replicator and fell into a coma. With Momentum running to their aid, Bulk Lad and Capt. Marvel quickly dispatched a beating to the enemy and managed to keep the battle contained.

Sol was trying to take a rest. With what happened earlier downtown, and now half the team's in another town dealing with a guy who can create copies of himself, he was mentally exhausted. He closed his eyes for a few moments in his personal quarters, dozing off and remembering his last several days on Daxam. Then seeing members of the Legion die making sure Sol and other Daxamites made it offworld before the planet exploded. Then his dream shifted to a time when he was still in a Legion t shirt fighting superhuman criminals in Coast City. Mandroid got a strong punch on Ultra Boy's jaw. As Sol was hit again, this time it was Octo-Shark lashing out at him with the tendrils coming from the shark man's back. Within a few more moments, just when it seemed Sol would get his chance to deal some justice in the metaphorical game of cards, he was woke up by a loud knocking noise.

Alarms went off, Cosmic Boy looked at the security footage and noticed who was at the door.

"Somebody wanna let her in? Ferro, Sol, you guys busy? Don't make me hover all the way down to the first floor..." Rokk continued on the intercom.

Just outside of HQ...

A larger beast of a man with large teeth stayed his distance. He kept to the shadows but his eyes were locked on the purple clad new member of the Legion. He was too late this time though, this one got to the door. He snarled under his breath and backed into the woods surrounding him off the trail.

Old Bludhaven...

Multiplus was taking a beating but managed to get a few more shots in. He threw a duplicate like a missile striking into the Xudarian speedster, and a pair of duplicates tag teamed Bulk Lad despite being clearly outgunned.

A gang of clones also managed to sneak up on the green clad alien Capt. Marvel for an assault.

I haven't seen anything that suggests that Gabriel and Sarah's mother was not the original Gwen Stacy. But, I also do not collect comics like I once did when I was much younger.

If you really want me to take Gabriel (and Sarah) out of it, I will. I'll just have to come up with another story arc for my character.

She looks cool! After reading up on Gabe and his sis, I think it struck a nerve because it basically made Gwen out to be a ho. I mean, who sleeps with one of her friends dads? I was also confused about their age but it was said they had accelerated aging and were really only 5-9 years old.

Saying Gwen cheated on Pete is bad enough, but then they want me to believe she cared for the twins in secret while still doing well enough in school to keep attending?! Right up until she died?! Idk why I thought she was the clone Gwen...

If you really wanna use those characters have at it. It's just that the history is so convoluted even the writer wanted to retcon it during Brand New Day immediately afterwards lmao
