EDIT: Found it. It's at the top of the titanpad again waiting for you/us to finish it off. I think we were gonna go ahead and take on the Condiment King our first arc in the RP.

Never cared for those kind of match-ups. Big, dumb strong guy vs big dumb strong guy gets old fast in my opinion. I do enjoy classic Jugs vs X-men though, when he's treated as little more than a force of nature with a vendetta, and the X-men have to utilize teamwork and cunning to take him down, as not one of them on their own has the sheer physical power to match up with the avatar of Cyttorak.

Incidentally, I'd take the ever loving blue eyed Thing over any stinking Juggernaut any-day.

The fight that comes to mind as being awesome was one for the books. It was during that transitional period, when Cain was becoming more of a hero, and the Hulk had become one of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen... DEATH. He's already insanely strong, then to get an upgrade by Apocalypse?



I like those big guy vs battles. In a perfect world Disney/Marvel would have movie rights to the Fantastic 4 and we could see Thing vs Hulk on the big screen.

Brooklyn...

It was the Sunday after the first true test of Jacob's powers. He'd agreed to sleep in his great uncle's basement since there was a chance his powers activated in his sleep. And because he'd already ripped up part of the floors in the bottom level of the three story bachelor pad. Ben had married decades earlier but it didn't last. To protect the one woman he cared for he pushed her away. To protect Jacob, he's keeping him close. Not unlike his pal, Johnny Storm, and his adopted daughter. Ben had already spoken to Johnny the night before on the phone, the city of the Inhumans gets incredible reception. He was expecting them but didn't say a word to the all new Thing. The door buzzer rang in the Brooklyn home, and introductions were made. The young girl met Ben and got a taste of the old rivalry between her adopted father and the rock covered man when the two of them began trading insults.

Downstairs Jacob was oddly laying on the opened up ground, some smaller rocks covering parts of his body. Almost as if he's become one with the rock formations in the Earth itself. He could hear his blue eyed uncle upstairs talking to somebody but he was still in his suit, well the pants of it anyway. Jacob was also quite dirty. He decided to just wait it out rather than embarrass himself. That's when he barely made out Ben saying...

"Yeah, he's down there now. Believe it or not he took down an old creature of Mole Man's yesterday. Probably still asleep. Watch out for all the rocks too, kid's still workin' out the kinks..."

"Crap." Jacob thought. "Somebody's coming down here, I have no idea who... I'm half dressed, dirty, and surrounded by... rocks..."

The young girl came down the stairs. To her surprise Jacob was completely covered in stone armor and doing push-ups.

"Ninety eight! Ninety nine!" he said semi-loudly before glancing over like a doofus, "Oh, HEY! Didn't see you there. Um... who ARE you?" the rock man asked.

The Legion of Superheroes RETURN

The debate was strong in the HQ of the Legion of Superheroes. Their mentor, Cosmic Boy, didn't think such a small squad could go in blind with too many risks. The Xudarian was ready, as was Ferro Lad, and even Maxima who had just joined their ranks was ready to rip the machine man apart. That's when a loud noise shook the base. It was the hangar door for the star cruisers. Cosmic Boy sat in his Nth metal hover chair and put his hand over his face...

"Please tell me that's not the hangar doors..?" Rokk almost begged.

He pulled holographic screens up, showing several angles of the headquarters and the hangar door. Ultra Boy had taken a smaller star cruiser, immediately after damaging the right wing of the larger team sized ship on his exit.

"Well team... Sol has decided to go lone wolf and speed off to sector 2811 without the rest of us. He's in my personal cruiser..." he paused for a moment, "..so he'll get there within the hour. On his way out he damaged the other ship and we're stuck here for at least as long as it'll take him to get to Brainiac's location. Hopefully Ultra Boy doesn't get himself killed before we get there..." Cosmic Boy said sternly.

Daxam, one year before Brainiac...

"Little sister, can't you find another way?" Sol asked the seven year old blonde girl running around him in the large Daxamite city.

"No! What am I s'posed to do?" she asked from the top of a statuesque piece of art in the vegetation that passed for these aliens parks.

"Just stop growing up for awhile. And get down here. Mom is cooking your favorite tonight..." Sol began to say before she cut him off.

"WE HAVE TO GET HOME RIGHT NOW!" she screamed and ran off towards their home.

"Iana, what would I do without you?" Sol said laughing and jogging towards his little sis.

The edge of space sector 2812...

Ultra Boy had the equivalent of the pedal to the metal in the cockpit of this one man cruiser. It was basically a dark purple muscle car crossed with a space ship with small wings and landing gear. Sol had a lot on his mind. His parents. His kid sister. Seeing his world explode. He glanced down at the scanners and noticed he had entered sector 2811. Soon, Daxam would be avenged.

I dug the Living Monolith when he wore the helmet too, especially since he was a friggin' giant...



Also, I remember how awesome that Juggernaut/She-Hulk team up was when She-Hulk won the battle with the enemy and then hooked up with ol' Juggy.

Juggernaut had a run with the X-Men for awhile before moving to Europe and becoming a member of Excalibur for some time. He was interesting during the Marvel/Malibu crossovers too when put against Prime, and generally just trashing the other universe. During that period a lot of characters crossed over and Juggy and other Mutant Liberation Front members joined a couple random Malibu villains to become the Exiles. Black Knight lead the then current incarnation of Ultra Force as well with his light saber like sword. IT WAS A WEIRD TIME.

Always liked seeing Jugs vs Hulk too, since he was one of the only characters physically capable of dealing with Hulk at his peak.
