Hey, everyone!

I feel really bad about my absence lately. I'm still adjusting to working and studenting at the same time, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. Until midterms and exams come around. Then I'll be dead for a while.

Regardless, weekends (mainly Sundays) will be the days I finish posts. I'll write throughout the week, but the weekend will be my active time. I'll try to keep up in the OOC/respond to PMs, but just stick with me for now until I start to care less about school.

Peachy, Lexicon. Just peachy. Preparing for the upcoming holiday, giving serious consideration on what I'll be carving into pumpkin flesh this year.

Or consideration toward what Captain Stabby would do with a Jack O'Lantern.

Joking aside, I understand completely. You're an amazing writer and you're always welcome back here whenever you can return. If you decide to just ditch all of your current responsibilities in order to write solely for this RP, that's cool too. I don't want to limit you.

Let us know what you'd like for us to do with Sammy, if anything.

Sorry, you guys, I've gotten so busy lately. I'm still here, constantly checking, even if I don't reply right away. I've come to learn that I'm not the kind of person who can juggle school, work and general life simultaneously. I envy those people who can.

I think Merle would be the only reason Vivek goes back since he thinks so highly of her and has worked with her before. She's gonna have to go to him though...

I'm not sure how much the public know about it. He withdrew to a lesser known one following the events of the brief war with the aliens but clearly it's location is discoverable since that woman Maria sent Merle there.

Maria and Vorian would have worked together for a few years, so she knows him personally. I like to imagine her as being the ultra-mega-hacker/stalker who can find out anything about anyone easily. Of course, I'll never explain the technicalities of how she manages it, 'cause how hackers do that stuff is way beyond my smarts.

Now I never specifically stated that the aliens - whose name is still being worked on - are flying octopuses who altered their own DNA and became something advanced and non-organic, but they are. And then I find this article...

The location of Vorian's current facility is in New Hampshire. As for why it is there, well did anyone really expect him to be there? If you answered no then you have it. ;)

Do you plan on having his facility's location known to the public? That could set things up for some interesting encounters later on.

Well I already have my story thread with the Mackeys and Merle. Most likely they'll be heading to New Hampshire first, but then having to quell some sort of local troubles while waiting for the rest to arrive or something.

If you want, we could have early rumors released to the public that the aliens are returning? This could spark some rioting nearby the Mackey's could handle.

Work is kicking my ass to the point where I've maybe gotten fifteen hours of sleep over the course of about four days. Inspiration is hiding at the moment. I'm going to try to work on something for this thread this weekend.

Put sleep before this. Regardless of how award-winning this RP is, sleep is more valuable. I guess work is too, or whatever. Maybe then you'll have some amazing dream you'll draw inspiration from?

If either of you want Merle (or Maria (I know she's not nearly as cool, but she's available)) to swoop in and kickstart some action, let me know. Or if you'd rather skip a Merle/Maria drop-in and dive into an actual story, I like to think I'm good at coming up with ideas and making them work. I don't want you guys to feel stuck, so if there's any way I can get this ball rolling, I will. Just let me know!

Also, I may have mentioned it before (but, really, how am I accountable for remembering what I say?), but if anyone wants to start their own plot - whether it involves the entire Seventh Division, the entire world, or just their character alone (a personal plot, if you will) - by all means, do. I was a part of one RP that ran for years, and I feel it was successful as such because people strayed from the main plot to explore their characters more, or even introduce new elements to keep the entire RP from feeling stagnant. So never feel like you're confined to the main plot. It's only one plotline of many potential ones.

It may be my impatience, but it's getting a little quieter here. If any of you ever leave me, I will literally break the world. No pressure, though.

As a heads-up: I'm returning to university soon, so I may not be quite as active as I am now. In the OOC I will be for sure, but don't expect more colossal IC posts from me. I know, I know, they were a joy to spend several hours reading. My apologies.

Mayhaps we can decide on a place for the seventh to meet while everyone gets to writing? That way at least everyone's got something in the fire instead of everyone twiddling their thumbs for one guy (me).

If @Raptorman is okay with it, we could have everyone meet at Vorian's facility now? We've discussed setting up his base as the headquarters before, so it'd make sense to have that be the main rendez-vous point.
