Yeah. Empaths have been portrayed as healers before I think (90% sure this was fanfiction but w/e).

Dang... Instead I chose telepath so I don't get to do all the seeing emotions as colours/metaphors spiel. Like synaesthesia.

I was thinking of doing a more physical take, like amorphous clouds of emotion that carry weight? Dunno, still working on that

Imagine what an empath would do if Alex had a melt down. He has heightened emotions, imagine if she is around him when he loses control. I would think that she wouldn't be able to block such strong emotions.

You are absolutely right, especially with so little training. He'd knock her out, or alternatively cause her to have a stress break and make everyone insane... Suddenly having all of these people under the same roof is seeming like not such a great idea :/

Hannah might be able to help with those meltdowns in the future. I want her to work up to being able to absorb emotions from people, like pain, anger, etc.

And I think meeting a telepath is really going to throw her through a loop. ;P

Haha I know. I was also thinking that since Alistair has a little empathetic ability as well, the pair could have some interesting interactions. He'd be able to read the emotions of everyone in the room quite clearly through Hannah, which could be really overwhelming, but also kind of cool. :)

@McHaggis Interesting... Hannah has a similar problem but took the opposite approach (hyper-vigilance and tee-totalling) If Alistair finds anything that works he should let her know. :)
