Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON DRAGON BALL DEEZ NUTZ.

I enjoy this
He'd just met her, and usually when he found a girl that intrigued him he waited a few nights to even ask about spending some time talking or drinking. But he'd already felt a kinship with this girl, and she was a friend already if nothing else. He'd not enjoyed talking about Mercenary work with anyone in a long time. Usually he just did it, and didn't speak about it. If someone on other expeditions asked a question, they usually did so nervously, and it made others nervous because it showed they didn't know what they were doing. But Valerie seemed both capable and inquisitive. She was sharp and well tempered, and endearing to chat with. He'd felt at ease helping her earlier and would again, he realized.

Or maybe most of the girls you've met were just tavern wenches, or died too early to get to know. Well, that may or may not be the case. But he found her smile contagious, and he met her eyes as a smile grew on his face as well. "Cool." he said, his smile now blooming into a grin. He passed her by slowly and gestured with a nod for her to follow his lead as he strode out of the courtyard. It had been a little awkward asking her, but he felt some of his confidence coming back. Just buying a drink for a new friend you're helping out.

The Tavern they made it to was called "Orc Ire and Dragon Fire." The sign hanging above the cobblestone street at the doorway held a sigil of an Open flame, crisscrossed by an Axe and a Scimitar. Inside, lantern light could be seen from the windows they passed. The merry stories and shouts of jovial laughter was suddenly unmuted once the door opened. Markus held the door open with one hand for Valerie to walk in. Once they were inside, the Swordmage waved to a few nondescript people in the crowd, leading over to a table left of the front door, a few tables down and against the wall. Two cushioned chairs were set.

All about them, men played cards or drinking games. Some told stories and laughed merrily. A few had decided to sit alone, and some even sat two at a time like Markus and Valerie were. There were a few Elves, Dwarves, even a Gnome with two Halflings among the crowd.

"I'll go grab our drinks. One sec." he told her, and headed over to the barkeep across the floor from their table. He rested his elbows on the counter, his back turned to her as he waited for the order to be met. Within a minute, he headed over to Valerie with two fine Ales, and set one in front of her. He let out a long sigh as he plopped into his chair. The room was warm and the hearth on the right side of the room blazed brightly. Next to it, a woman sang a folk song, though not too loudly.

The Lord raised an inquisitive eyebrow at his team's rescuers, but they seemed to be either the quiet type, still jarred from the battle, or were simply not liable to speak. The Drabarian they seemed so very off-put by strode up to them with the menace of a leopard stalking its prey. The Knights were prepared to engage the Bounty Hunter, before Jex finally spoke. "We were given orders by our Captain, Kayden SpearWeilder. Tell the Lords you see in your city that his free company aided you." The Drabarian said.

"Oui Oui, now if you shall excuse us m'Lord. Vwe must give chase to zese bandits and make sure they do no harm to anyone any longer." Regeland said, giving the Lord a salute with his rapier.

"I am Silias, and I am indeed a Lord of a far realm. You shall be remembered, and well rewarded. I shall see to it." he said.

Jex nodded for the companions to follow him. They would then travel uphill now, but not to engage the bandits. Simply to follow at a slow pace (thankfully, for the companions were all fairly tired) to keep them fleeing back to their Castle.

Nuva's Maul swung downward as Cassilda charged forward, quick as a serpent with her flourishing of hands and muttering of her incantation. The merest second before the maul struck, a great black iron plate erupted from the corpse's chest, the malicious magic that surrounded it caused the Maul, and indeed Nuva himself, to skid back a few feet. One of the corpse's hands shot up, and as its fingers began to curl, the metal plates of a gauntlet was erupting from its skin before it was fully encased within runic black iron.

Kayden skidded to a stop, and with a swipe of the thing's arm, it knocked a weakened Morek back to skid across the stone floor. Before Nuva, Kayden, and Cassilda's eyes was no longer an animated corpse, but something far, far worse. Now on its feet, stood a Death Knight as tall as Nuva (and far broader), fully encased in Black Iron plate. Fueled by the souls of innocents and holding an ornate blade of Hellmetal. The last thing to be encased within armor was the corpses head. It smiled, showing its now sharpened teeth before a great horned helm covered it. Its mouth piece glowed with an inner fire, and every breath from the DeathKnight was like a hellish engine spewing poisonous fumes.

"Mortals." The DeathKnight said, pointing its blade at the three of them. Its voice sounded like cold oblivion. "Your souls will be next."

Meanwhile, Halbark inflicted heavy damage upon two of the bandits with his flaming gauntlets. The first cutthroat was felled by a sword thrust from Virgil. Haukford engaged the one that knocked the Dwarf back, his chained morningstar crashing into the man's shield and shattering it. The man recoiled, but was about to strike back and head into the fray once more before he paused at the sight of the dark sorcery that had just occurred. The last Two bandits looked to one another, and then to Halbark, Haukford, and Virgil.

The Warlock, his face now a ruin from Morek's punches, hacked and coughed, but pointed at them. "Kill the Intruders!" he cried. They still hesitated, but raised their weapons and advanced cautiously at the three, not to be taken by surprise again.

I cannot decide between Salamanders, Space Wolves, or Black Templars...probably the latter, but still.
Geradin let out a roar and pointed his hammer forward, invoking his God's favor to enchant his weapon with a bit of holy fire. A small light from the heavens poured down, invoking a small flame around his hammer's head. Both the monster and the Lizardman turned to regard the companions.

Beren backed up a few steps, unstrapping his Axe and Staff from his hip and back, holding the Axe in his right hand and his staff in his left. The tanned Warrior Monk suddenly charged, and sprang off the end of the soft earth to fly over the swamp water. He flung his Axe, the Badlr head swinging end over end before it hit the shoulder of the bog monster. The creature gave a rough cry of annoyance and pain. Just as it did, Beren hit the water. The swamp murk rose nearly to his waist, and he still had his staff to use. He waded forward to engaged. Geradin was just behind him, doing his best to traverse the swamp that was up to his burly chest.

Just as Beren had thrown his Axe and the action erupted, Calanon felt as if the consensus was aiding the Lizardman. He let fly his arrow, the missile slicing through the air to strike the beast on the cheek. It sank into the creature as if its flesh was halfway solid and halfway soft earth. It still felt pain from the way it screeched however, and it promptly turned to the companions, only to be hit by Alice's barrage and a bolt to the upper collar bone (or where one should be) by Ann-Hasst.

"He'ssssss mine!" The Lizardman cried, moving swiftly through the water toward the Bog creature. It roared and swung its huge ape-ish limb toward Beren. The Warrior Monk barely ducked in time.

@SigmaYou let me know, friend. I should have a post in a few nights, at the latest.
The Argonian moved with the silent grace of a predator, even once the battle was over and he strode toward his group casually. He was not trying to be stealthy or threatening, but there was an air of danger about him. At least, to those whom he did not call comrades. These ones before him were obviously hurt, and it seemed as he got there they had begun to pick up the wounded and greeted the Nord they had aided.

He walked at the fore of the small group after he had retrieved his hunting bow and the arrows that had slipped out of his quiver. His Axe was still out and at the ready, but they did not need to go far before they made it to the Nord's small camp. Dax did not need any healing. From the stings he had received, and the scratches upon his callused scales from the brief fight, he knew his minor wounds would heal in no time.

He gave a curt bow of his head at Rothvar Tower-Shield's story and lament, something that Daixanos was very deeply respectful of. For all of the differences he had with the Nords, he shared their fatalism and stoicism, and lament of past deeds. When their new host and Jorwen were finished with their interaction, Daixanos approached them and waited until he had the time to speak.

"Rothvar Tower-Shield." Daixanos said in greeting, placing a fist over his broad Argonian chest. "It would be my honor to help you bury your comrades, when there is time for it. And I thank you for your service in our aid." With that, Dax gave a warrior's nod, and turned to stride over to a slumbering but pale Sevine. As a fellow Ranger and Hunter, he felt it was his duty to watch vigil over her until she recovered enough to be coherent. He was not certain of how else he could help, for this was a task suited for him. To be a guard and lookout, though doubtless if anyone else had another suggestion, they would tell him. He kept an equally watchful gaze over the treeline.

Maybe her kink is danger! While Sagax's kink is situations of near-death.

Was this ever in doubt?
@POOHEAD189 As I am more awake I thought I'd clarify. I'd rather you didn't play someone in Cryo as there's no need for them to be woken up so early. You'd be better playing someone who started the journey awake.

I can do that if you'd prefer. I just think it's weird if I make a guy who has decided to be silent or not introduced himself until now.
