Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@FuzzybootzNo worries :)
I think with this newfound interest from peeps we'll probably not make a new one anyway. I appreciate the input too btw

@Kafka KomedyThere is definitely space to join. And there might be, but that's to be decided in universe. Atm our Mercenary company has just become a legitimate guild and it has only one captain, but if your character has prior leadership experience and proves himself/herself, you might be given (relative) command of a few people. It all depends.
@FetzenSure! I guess at this rate with 5 new players (3 that have been waiting and 2 new ones) we wouldn't need to make a new thread after all.

Until I tell you otherwise (for the moment, so you don't worry on it), you're all off a time limit.

I'll let y'all know whats what in a day or two. Stay tuned :)
@BananaOk, SURVEY SAYS

There is no race of were-bears, however, I will allow one of two things.
1) You can be a furbolg, which is essentially a Bear Man in the lore. Though, there is no human state. OR
2) You can be a werewolf that has been cursed by dark sorcery to make you turn into a bear man instead, however you would not know the origins of said curse, because it would be a new, single event thing.
@The Fated Fallenhas a point, I am very much into badass things. I shall think on it, friend. @Banana I am about to sleep, but I'll let you know within 24 hours.
Felt like my post was a bit too bare bones so I edited it a bit.
@SigurdI thought it was my turn, but I think it is your sir
Calanon (& Brogach)

Location:Beside the Cave
Interacting with:Sana, Cyneburg, The Others

Calanon perked up when Sana tapped him, his brows raising as he tried to will away the tiredness from his face as he tried to listen. "Sure." he said, wiping his eyes and sitting up a bit straighter. Brogach even perked his head up as his master spoke. He curled his feet under himself and placed his hands upon his knees, listening to Kyra and Sana discuss differing plans of action.

"Brogach and I are well suited for riding through thick forest quickly." he assured Kyra. "If there's any pursuit, I can lead them away and slip off out of their grasp whenever we need to. Sana can ride back here and report it if need be. If things get bad, I can always even split up from Brogach. They'll just be chasing a deer as far as they're concerned eventually, if we're ever followed."

He blinked when Cyneburg said she didn't have much faith in Calanon or Sana being able to brocker a peace. He pointed to his chest questioningly. "I admit I am more suited to hunting than negotiation, but I don't make enemies easy either. Generally my enemies come with pre-malevolence."

@FuzzybootzPardon me if I'm misreading your post, but there's no reason to be annoyed or passive aggressive. We still don't need to make another thread and I won't if there are multiple people against it. I just brought it up because making another might give a bump to interest and let new players not feel like they're leaping into a race that's halfway done.

I'm here to make this fun for everyone so if you feel one way or the other, just let me know. I can keep it in this thread, I don't mind. If I misread though, sorry.
"I agree." Markus said as they began to traverse down this difficult, steep slope. "I don't remember them carrying people off but, it was a hard fight. I probably saw a quarter of it from where I was." He helped her to the next tree down the slope. Whenever one of them needed it, they held onto a safe spot and gripped the other's forearm and hand. About halfway down, a shadow passed overhead.

Markus looked around, and then squinted at the horizon. It looked like there might be some smoke in the distance. He gazed at it for a long bit, and realized there was actually smoke. "Check that out." he said, indicating to the horizon. It looked to be further in, a little south of the where the ruins had been indicated. It seemed like it was about a day's hike away.

Another shadow slipped over them, and it was at that moment they heard a screech that filled their heads with terror. They could now glimpse it as it passed by closer. Scales and claws shined in the sunlight, and Markus knew this was far too large to be a hawk that had simply flown too close. It was a Wyvern, and that became all too plain as it swung by not ten paces above them and let out a shrill roar. It was twenty feet long including the tail, and with a wingspan over twice that length. Its head was an odd mixture between a bird and a Dragon, and its powerful legs were filled with talons meant for gripping and tearing at prey. It screeched again after it passed over next, swooping in closer.

They had about thirty more feet left down the steep slope, before they made it onto some rocky crags that led into the forest. Markus was about four feet behind Valerie, holding onto a thin tree with one arm. "Shit." he said. He unsheathed his sword, but knew he wouldn't be able to do much damage to it if it swooped in to grab one of them. He could hit it with a fireball but...it would need to go slower. "We might have to just jump...I don't have a lot of ideas."@Luminosity
