Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Wordlessly he helped her up, his face stoic. Back on the trail and in Hillglen, he admitted she had caught his interest. Out here though, when they had to get going he wasn't going to treat her any differently than a fellow merc or soldier. He slipped his arm around her back and helped her own arm around his shoulder, and together they made it into the forest proper and moved until they had found the log they could rest on.

He plopped down next to her, letting out a sigh and running his hand through his thick hair as they caught their breaths. The Wyvern looked like it had given up for now, after giving a minimal amount of effort at trying to find them below the tree canopy. "Where did you learn your magic?" she asked once she'd caught her breath comfortably. She dabbed at a small cut on her cheek with a clean cloth. "That was a pretty handy spell. Did you family have a magical tutor?" Markus took his pack off of him and set it down before them both, rummaging through it before he produced a bit of jerky to eat. He handed her some as he spoke.

"After I left my old home, I did a few odd Merc jobs here and there before I was taken in by an Elven tutor, Daelyn Thelen'huron. I paid for the privilege, but after a few months I think he and I got to become friends, if not mentor and pupil at least." he explained, taking a bite out of his jerky and giving her a reassuring smile. She looked like she might need it. He washed his food down with a bit of water. The Swordmage wiped his mouth with his arm in a quick gesture, and continued. "I was there for about two years, I guess until I was your age, and went off on my own again. I didn't learn a lot. Just some swordsman tips, a few spells and a bit of Elvish."

"I guess that was two years ago too. Honestly magic does help a bit, but it might take some time from your sword practice. I mean, it didn't take away much of my time for it because I kinda don't have a life beyond this one but..." he shrugged.

I feel like I am either going to be a Ranger or a Wolf Brother, that is unless there is an explosion of female characters by the next day or two in which I might try a Warder.
