Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@SuperboyNice catch, though I should have said "Ex-Merc" because that is what I meant. Thanks, though :)
Thinking of making a soldier of fortune in it for the big bucks.
Love the name "Art Forge" and your art is pretty good. I love pencil sketches too
@JbcoolDon't swear on someone's life. 2016 aint over yet ;)
@LauderFellow Lizardman fan! BLOOD BROTHERS
@FetzenThere's no pressure. You do what you feel like you want :)
If there's something I or anyone else here can do to help though, just let me know. (Also, I know I am looking for another player in my slightly more action oriented Merc RP if you'd wanna try that.)
Either way, I'm here to help. But no hard feelings, bud. I've enjoyed your posts.
Her words brought a surprising smile to his face. He'd always been for one living on the edge, and having someone like her to do it with him was something he'd not experienced. He squeezed her hand back, and then pulled her a bit closer to him before closing his eyes and concentrating on his magics. "Seiroch" he intoned.

Suddenly, Markus and Valerie felt the faintest weightlessness before gravity returned to normal nearly instantly. It wasn't entirely disorienting, just an odd feeling for a moment as it was an instantaneous movement. They opened their eyes and were out in the open, a dozen feet from the hillock and the next treeline that led upwards towards the ruins. Before them was an Orc guard with his back turned. Markus wasted no time and grabbed the brute's mouth before running him through with his sword. He let the Orc drop and hissed "Go," to Valerie.

They made it to the Hill. It's a start, Markus thought. He cast a glance behind them at the Horde still milling about as he ran on. The trees were not so near and thick as they were back in the forest, but it was better than nothing, and they would be covered by canopies as they climbed higher up the Hill. The going was steep and definitely did a number on their legs as they ran, but any Orc who would look up towards them might see a glimpse of them and think it was merely a passing doe, or a fellow Orc exploring.

The first structure they made it to at the crest of the rise was a smaller building of timber so old it creaked from the wind. Markus barreled through the cracked door, sword leading as he looked about quickly. "No one." he called to Valerie, and let out a breath. He'd fought in urban environments before, and while he was used to populated cities, he had a good sense on when to open doors and when to keep your head down just in case. Inside their small structure was a few desks and an old table, with a cupboard wrought of ubiquitous and odd designs that looked archaic yet exquisite.

As Markus gazed out one shattered window, seeing across a few more overgrown streets of dirt and stone, was an archway covered in vines and brambles. Behind him, a Skeleton that had been standing up (next to the cupboard) due to an arrow in its chest cavity keeping it upright, shattered and fell apart next to Valerie due to their commotion with a rattle and a crash that seemed far too loud.

Seems our merry band has dwindled the past few weeks, but we're about to receive another person or two, so stay tuned! You don't need to reply right away since I don't want to get into any action until we got the new character sheets, but this next mission, as you've read, is being set up now!
New Mission

"Very well," Kayden said, palm smacking the table before him as if it was a crudgel. He took out a quill from his back pocket and received a piece of parchment from one of the serving wenches. He wrote down Allard's name to the Roster of his growing Mercenary Guild, citing he was a newer member. As Kayden placed his mark, a small Knock was heard from the front door. After the knock, a clearing of the throat was evident even behind the thick wood of the Oaken door.

"Come in." Kayden called, and there was a bit of a hesitation before the door was opened fully. Within eyesight was a tall man with a hawkish nose that he seemed to perpetually look down on people from. He was garbed in a comfortable but exquisite suit that fit him like a shirt upon a hanger. The man strode forward, glancing about.

"I am to assume that one of you is Captain Kayden?" The man asked, raising an inquisitive eyebrow at the people around the table. They were all set down casually, so Kayden stood up and took an air of authority as he spoke. "That I am. What business could I help you with?"

He gazed about the room once more, but took a deep breath as if he was realizing this new guild was still under construction and renovation. "Yes, I am a representative of a Lord Pembrook whom you no doubt have heard of. I was sent to negotiate a contract on having you and your...men helping us with a particular problem guarding a certain vault. Would you deign to meet my master?"

Kayden looked to his comrades for a moment. "Certainly." The Captain spoke as if he himself were a Lord. He seemed to have a knack at being commanding when he needed to be. "Tell your Master that he merely needs to name the time and place."

"Tomorrow at his estate." The servant said, handing Kayden a partchment and making his leave. "Be on time, and bring whomever you'd wish." Those words were heard just before he made it to the street. Virgil raised an eyebrow, having watched the exchange with a curious eye. "So Captain...what do we got?"

Secret opened her mouth to speak, about to ask if they could simply just make another spanner, but the conversation flowed far too quickly and she decided to let it slide. "Well, I can certainly find out." she replied, with hands on her hips and a professional interest once the Gnome had mentioned she would be paid for her services. "Give me a day or so," she said, "once I reach the city, granted, and I'll tell you or your leader all there is to know-"

She glanced back when Nuva spoke to her and handed her the food. She raised an eyebrow, amused once more it seemed, but let it slide and continued to speak to the Diminutive Gnome about payment for the time being. Haukford grumbled and made his way past them all with his crutches. "Do us a favor and see if you can grab me a healing potion from somewhere" he bade Secret, voice echoing from his helmet. "If you do, I'll pay double what it costs to buy one for the fetching of it. I just want to be off these damned things and back into the fight." @BCTheEntity@rush99999
