Arab voters were already voting against Kamala because of the Biden administration's Israel policy. Bill Clinton didn't help, but it was already showing in the polls at that point.

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@WickI apologize Wick. I know I must have been one of them. I'm sorry D:
@rush99999Nope. There might be a Darkslayer walking about, but then again Lis fits the bill anyway.

Again, this goes to @Leidenschaft, for both of his phenomenal characters, Jorwen and Solveig.

In the relationship of father and daughter, Schafty-kins shows us time and time again, a realistic relationship. One that is evident as his ability to play the role of a father through Jorwen, and his ability to create a dynamic between Solveig and Jorwen.

From the beginning of FoC, Schaft showed us Jorwen’s traits as a father during the rescue of the Forsworn children, and even throughout the rest of the game. Again and again, I’m always amazed to read how much skill, even though it might not be many words, that Schaft has been able to give realistic depth to Jorwen. Though this isn’t limited to just Jorwen, but through the relationship with Halla, and Solveig.

Even in Solveig, after she meets Sevine for the first time, and listening to how Sevine described her father in a light she didn’t know, their reunion downstairs is emotional. And the same night when Jorwen comes home to Halla, and chastises her like a little girl.

I can agree with all of what Fox said (minus the stuff that happened before my time. I should go back and read) but definite kudos to this. Schaft does a great job writing the father/daughter relationship of Jorwen and Solveig.

A few questions when you fine mods get a chance.
@rush99999Good guess.
@rush99999Do tell sir.
@BCTheEntityNext 3-4 days would be coolio. It was my fault for taking a long time so don't feel too rushed.
@BCTheEntityPretty much, the jist of what's going on is an old wealthy nobleman wants us to guard a vault to keep a threatening and mysterious stranger away from one of his old tomes.

Also peeps, sit where you like at the table, if it matters.
Kayden had to agree with Lis on both counts, the grin he was trying to hide showed as much. He knew how to maneuver and keep his cool in many...diplomatic situations, but he had chosen the life of a Mercenary to keep him among more abrupt folk. He placed a hand on her shoulder in thanks that she did her best not to appear rude, and he gave her a wink as he spoke. "I agree with my lady friend here, could we not find this man?"

That question, along with the others on how this stranger was peculiar, had Lord Pembrook holding his hands up to settle the mercenaries down. "Yes, yes, I see you are very eager my friends. But allow me to explain. This man, called Strater from what he claims, was quite interested in one of the many books I procured. When I told him it was not for sale, he looked at me strangely, and for some reason, it took all of my will power to refuse his offer. When I did refuse, you see, I felt as if I was in grave danger. Indeed my priest thought so as well, as did my many guard. For a moment we had a fear the likes of which I had not felt in many years, since I faced the Death Knight Heroglabus in single combat, yes those were the days! Tall I was, and-"

"While that does sound impressive, please go on sir." Kayden said.

"Yes, yes, quite. You see, he told me I had a weeks time to reconsider his offer. That was four days ago, you see. You see if it weren't for my old warrior instincts kicking in, I would not be worried. I am a very wealthy man you see, and would pay you all handsomely, yes, yes. And I have many guards and a strong vault, but there was something about him. Something I could not quite put out of my mind."

The thought of being handsomely paid, as well as this new information, had the young Captain pondering for a moment. Left hand holding his right elbow, his right hand stroked his chin as he gazed inwardly for a moment. Pembrook continued to speak, squinting at Jollan, or so he thought, when in fact he was looking at a vase between Jollan and Hobnob. "As for the book, it's an old Ra'sheek holy book in a language that has been lost in time. A trinket, so I was told. Though does it have vast magic? Many would be daft to say so, but you never do know these days. Now, as for the story of how I procured the book, it was twenty years ago-"

"I am sure it is a lovely story sir," Kayden said, now it being his turn to hold his hands up to halt the Lord Pembrook. "We shall discuss this matter further at our humble hall and get back to you first thing in the morning."

Once they made it outside, they strode along the ornate stone pathway leading out of the estate. Kayden glanced back, and then glanced at Lis, running a hand through his hair. "By the Evergod," he breathed, showing he felt the way she did about that whole affair.

It was hours later in the evening, when Nuva, Secret, and Morek had made it back to the Guild Hall, as well as any Gnomes Hobnob needed. Haukford and Jex the Draconic Hunter stayed at Hillcrest, and Virgil stated he would be riding out there in the morning to keep an eye on things. For now however, everyone was in the Meadhall in the Guild. Kayden had gotten everyone drinks, and sat down with them. He reiterated all they had found out, and told them he wanted to accept the offer even if, despite Pembrook's claims, it was probably nothing.

"I admit I'd want a bit more excitement," Kayden sighed to them as they had all sat down upon the center table. He'd just finished regaling the newcomers with the tale. "But sometimes there's nothing better than getting paid to do nothing. I'm sure there will be many contracts within the next few weeks where I'll need my sword, but for now? I say take the job. It'll help keep the Guildhall running if nothing else." His chin rested on as fist, elbow on the table.

The glade was now filled with discussion of what their next move would be. The Elves lingered for the discussion, though whether it was to keep an eye on the companions or for help, none could tell at the moment. Brogach the Elk was even attentive, ears twitching to and fro.

"It's not in my nature to slay something unless it's a last resort, or it's pure evil, like a Demon," Beren said, arms crossed. He let out a breath, and Calanon nodded in agreement at that assessment. "But if the Dragon is stirring up monsters, something should be done, yes?" Calanon's question was directed at the Elves. Verya strode over to them, putting her hands on her hips and giving a gruff nod of her own.

"We have many problems to deal with at the moment, not to mention the monsters that this Dragon has brought to our borders. But we'll send scouts out to warn and escort the local populaces to a more stable region for the time being." she said, letting her voice rise so her Rangers could hear her. Of course they could, being Elves. But it didn't hurt to snap them to attention as well, just in case.

Beren nodded and placed a hand on Verya's shoulder. "Thanks." he told her.

"Dragons can speak and understand our language," Calanon said. "But...getting one's attention, or speaking its true language is an entirely different matter." What Calanon said was true, though most people did in fact consider Dragons no more than beasts. "There are Druids around here. Perhaps I could help with that, though they'd likely be more help with what Monsters were where and how to avoid them rather than any Draconic help, other than a Scrying pool which is what I think Alice meant?"

"We could help with whereabouts of the Dragon and other monsters," Verya said. "Our scouts are the best in the world. We'll go forth and provide aid where we can."

"Great, here come the Elves to save the day," Geradin muttered sarcastically. Verya raised an eyebrow at that and turned, but Beren spoke first. "He's...he's new. It's ok," the Warrior Monk chuckled, trying to ease the situation and holding his hands up. The Elven Captain looked entirely unconvinced, but seemingly gave the benefit of the doubt at the moment. Beren gave her a wink of thanks, which had her nod.

"I am more new than the Dwarf is," Argon said, raising his scaly hand.

"I believe it," an Elf said in the background.

"If there is a cursed Drake here, I say we ignore it or kill it. But let us not mince words with a Wyrm," Geradin announced. "The beasts have slain enough Dwarfs for us to ever forgive that race of monsters."
