Apologies to all writing partners both current & prospective. Been sick for two weeks straight (and have to go to work regardless). No energy. Can't think straight. Taking a hiatus. Sorry again.

Where's the personality? The flavor? the drama? The struggle? The humanity? The texture of the time and the place in which this conversation is happening? In a word: where's the story?

I won't promise active participation in this thread until I've gotten all my other RP stuff under control, but I wanted to drop by and let you know that this thread is fantastic and its quality hasn't gone unnoticed. I particularly love the mechanics you're using to enforce an historical tone within the IC prose.

You've probably alienated a lot of roleplayers by demanding that their writing actually be...you know, good...but I hope this is a huge success nonetheless.
@Andreyich No worries, I'm happy being an option when things clear up.

Yo, thanks for the URL. Here's mine in kind.

I removed a Post-Apocalyptic RP prompt (more in the vein of Stalker than Fallout) because for a brief time, it was a public Casual thread. But since that's dead I'll probably revive it as a 1x1 prompt. It'd look something like this:

Yeah, something like that.

Other than that, I don't know much about the Crusades (Northern nor eastern). I know quite a lot about Vikings and the Dark Ages in general, though, so I've got some areas of historical expertise, but I'm excited to try anything.

You'll see from my Fantasy prompts that I like a lot of the same themes you do, as a bonus.

Keep in touch and here's a free bump.
You can bump your own thread, dude. If you'd please stop @ing me in an attempt to drag me back into the argument, I'd really appreciate it.
What season are we in, too? Month? (She's a forager and a gardener, so I need to know what kinds of herbs and vegetables she's eating this time of year ;))
@Oddsbod I was hoping for, like, the names of the days of the week, the names of the months, that sort of thing. But all that worldbuilding is cool too, thanks! :P
@oddsbod Hey dude, I've just started on the history and I've decided to present it in an epistolary format. So I need to know what the calendar looks like, day, month, and season-wise, for some sort of diary entry. Thanks.
I’ll be considering sheets in the order I receive them (but to be perfectly honest I’m a huge softy who is just absolutely over the moon anyone is paying attention to my work, and will likely let in significantly more people than I should).

@Iuniper Hurry up dude :P
So the fewer categories you select from, the more efficiently your 7 points can be spent 🤔

All right, I'll survive, I guess
Honestly having some Mighty spells be 3 or 4 points (depending on potency) would be a saving grace for my planning abilities right now. That Grisly Trophy is a real resource hog, and I dunno that my idea is all too powerful compared to your example.

I asked this in our Discord chat but it may be worth repeating here, just in case it'll help someone else: "do I understand correctly that once we've selected a category of magic to 'belong' to, any spells which we know outside of this category cost one point extra to know?"
