Hello! I go by the name Petal and I’m a 27 year old female from the UK with around 12 years roleplaying experience. I’m searching for a female partner to write a vivid and detailed long-term M/F story with me. No male partners please! Also, I’d prefer a partner that is over 20 with no upwards age limit. 

Preferences
    • The primary pairing will be M/F and I’m happy to write either party. I am also happy to double if required. 
    • I enjoy creating and writing a cast of characters to add depth and weight to the story and the character experience. 
    • I prefer writing over Discord or email, with the former being the ultimate preference due to being able to use servers to keep everything organised. 
    • OOC chatter is appreciated and I love gushing about our characters, along with sharing plot ideas, Pinterest boards etc. 
    • I don’t have a strict writing schedule. I have a full time job with a life and other hobbies outside of roleplaying. I tend to reply when I can and aim to respond as soon as possible. If I anticipate delays I’ll always communicate this.
    • Communication is important! If there’s something you don’t like or would like to add in/change, please let me know. I’ll do the same for you. 
    • When it comes to writing smut I’m happy to include this in the story or can fade to black. I do not want this to be the main feature of the story and if that is what you’re into, I’m afraid we may not be compatible. 
    • My posts tend to be on the lengthier side, but I understand that it’s difficult to always put a number on things. I’d say my average is around 500 words at least. I don’t expect my partner to match. So long as there’s acknowledgement of my writing along with giving me something to respond to, I’ll mostly be happy. I do ask for more than a few lines though. 

Genres/Word bank
I don’t have anything set in stone and I enjoy the plotting process with my partner! Here are a few themes that I enjoy and I’d be looking to combine in a story:

    • Historical – Saxon/Viking, Medieval and Early Modern Europe, East Asia in the 19th/20th century, Georgian and Victorian England, Colonial America, Pirates, Settlers and Explorers, The Wild West, First World War, Inter-War Years. Basically throw me any time period and I’m sure I’d enjoy it! 
    • Post-apocalyptic and dystopian tales. Set in the near-future/modern day, plagues and revolutions. What if the end of the world came in one of the above noted eras? 
    • Modern day royalty, crime families, the depravities and glamour of the rich and famous. 

And just a few themes to bounce around: 

Power struggles – Serial killers – Cults – Isolated towns in the middle of nowhere – Culture clashes – Enemies to lovers – Lovers to enemies to lovers again – Arranged marriages – Family sagas (stories spanning the entire lives of characters and their children and so on) – Big brother (as in 1984) – Struggling authors – Rags to riches – Riches to rags – Unwanted fame – Rich/poor romance – Forbidden love – Heretics – Black sheep – Nomadic lifestyle – Ranch and farm life – Corporate power struggles – Artist and muse – Artist colonies – Civil war
