@KatherinWinter Brandon stepped back out of the ally to where the others were disbanding and going there own ways, when a woman suddenly lit up like a lighthouse beacon. "The hell..." He held a hand up to block the bright light, his other on his pistol just in case it was yet another attack.

Here. Thought I somehow missed THAT being posted recently .3.
Brandon had moved into a nearby ally, having taken another strange Shard of his own. Like the first it had vanished within him, so he guessed he would have maybe gained another power. Figuring a new disguise would come in handy he tried to shift into his original form. But when he looked at himself, he was still a soldier. Grumbling, he focused until he finally changed. "Great.." he mumbled. "I'm guessing the new thing is messing with my shifting... Going to take a bit to get used to that..."
Brandon had used up a good portion of his ammo in the fight, glad that the creature had gone. All of the people gave off that weird vibe and judging by what some of them were doing he figured he was as well. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a Shard that hardest be spotted by the others and picked it up before the others noticed. Still in the military outfit and soldier body he waited...

Brandon slipped between the alleyways and dark places between buildings as he made his made his way through the city. He had tried to ignore the pull and the strange feelings he had been having but enough was enough now. The pull was strong but felt as if it was from multiple sources in one spot. And then there was that dread like pulse... His rifle bounced against his back slightly as he began to jog. He remembered that the area ahead was a bit more populated so he stopped for a moment to look in a window as a mirror. His features seemed to get hazy for a moment, but as soon as it happened it was normal again. Other than the fact he now looked like a soldier. He looked old and battlescared and his clothes even looked to be of military issue. Satisfied he began to jog again toword the sources of the strange feelings...
