Ooh, good point about the interest check. I added a link at the top of the OOC. I've also PM'd Gunther, just in case he doesn't notice.

As the Lone Intelligence's ship orbited back to the near side of Patchwork, a small black warning light lit up on a black console. The label, also in black, read "Code Error, see Manual". The Lone Intelligence activated several computer screens and brought out the manual. Several thousand error flags had been thrown. It tapped a few icons on the computer screen, and went back to quietly monitoring the situation on the planet below.

As Axe Cop was in mid-stride, a soft azure glow permeated the air of the hex. Time crawled to a halt inside the hex. Any object entering the hex would similarly be frozen in time.

Quoting an M1 Garand brought me straight back to my BF1942 days. Secret Weapons was awesome. I can hear the noise that gun made in that game. Hilarity ensued.

Normally I'd say first come, first serve to a carrier/amphibious assault ship, but seeing as JDF-1 has "[unusual] fleet compositions" in its mission statement, I'll allow it. If you do want to change your ship choice, however, you certainly can.
