Protogonos & Its Lore

It is believed by many that the planet itself is an egg.

The majority of the planet (Protogonos) is covered in massive mountains. Forged through centuries of sky fire hailing its surface. However within a large portion of water, surrounded but untouched by the stalagmites, sat a beautiful Eden. However it is covered with Dragons that rule this land with a closed fist. These Dragons are ruled by a single entity with a chain of command underneath him. He holds the seat as a God. None can question his authority and he must be worshiped by the lesser dragons and dragon kin.

This land for all of its beauty was a savage mirror to the majority of the chaotic world, where nothing can spring to life. A mysterious occurrence triggered a spiral downward of events. The appearance of two beings of unknown origin traveling this world. One was a human and the other his guide, his guardian angel.

When seeing this world the human could only be in awe at the beauty and wonder. The sky was filled with stars, moons and floating stones. The world had dragons of various design to make up for every species on earth and more. He however was taken below the planet's surface. Entering the center where he did not return. His guardian angel did however return. What it did after changed everything.

The winged being, brimming with ethereal forces with a aura of light and density, turned a beating heart of a dragon and the materials of the earth to create a woman that resembled his own kind. He took the power within the dragon's own essence and his own and birthed children into this world made of flesh and blood. But with ethereal cores that gave them tremendous potential power.

These children resembled a cross of dragon and angel. Horns, claws and sharp teeth. Slit pupils and in some cases a tail or scaled wings, or scales in general. These beings were a hybrid race, multiplying as time went on. Creating a small nation of their own. However this land of theirs is under constant threat by the dragons who rule the lands.

As time went on the numbers grew and the ways to escape persecution also grew. The various kin crossed the lands over and spread out to each corner of the world. Creating tribes.

One tribe, the Tyro, went into the volcano lands. There they sought to gain protection from Dragons by using the volcanoes as a barrier.

The Nayudo tribe went to the far lands where the basilisks were many. They figured out how to live underground and avoid them all together using cave routes.

The Sol tribe found the lush jungles to be full of herbivore and kind dragons. Ones that would protect and hide them as best they could.

The Lassa tribe went to the waters. However there they found a race of beings who worked with the dragons and were not from this world. They were called the Abyssils and used strange powers and technology to oppress them. Though they did allow them to live among them as second class citizens. This offered them protection from Dragons still.

The Aero tribe lived near the mountains. Using the caves as cover and living within the forest. They found ways to manipulate earth to create their own barriers and forest illusions to protect themselves.

The Orn are a tribe that live on the mountains. They utilize their flight to get place to place. This makes it nearly impossible for any being not born with wings to live in this land. They also attempt to tame dragons for fun.

that has its own lore. But this one takes place before that one. And so basically the plot is that the land is ruled by dragons. However the oppressed angel / Dragon kin are revolting and will begin a war against them. There's little technology. Everything is medieval at best. You can join as a dragon or a dragon angel hybrid. Those are the only two races right now. You can choose a tribe to be a part of also.

Well most people are at the square listening to the soldier. Your character may be there or listening not too far. Can provide your services to aid the soldier or just do what you want. Mind you things are in chaos right now. Plants dying, storm clouds, lightning. All within a dome.

However the draw backs of such technology is its link to the soul and the body of the user. If too much strain is placed on the user, if they are incompatible, and or use the suite for far too long they will pass out and become infused into the organic parts of the machine. Creating a beast of chaos.

Inherent abilities are within each ethnic group by nature. However it can be minuscule at best. Such as the ability to resist heat as a Tyro, but if you want that to be one of your special abilities you can resist far more fire. You achieve this either through being born with it or some kind of experience. This is true for every ability inherent in each bloodline. You may passively have the abilities listed but they will not be significant compared to the average if you do not detail in your CS the uniqueness of it and how you achieved it. Again, whether through birth or experience.

The Soul is within each Descendant in a ethereal form. It draws ethereal energies that allow access to powers of great yet compacted forces. Allowing temporary gateways to open to allow the release of spells. Or to manipulate reality with interstellar power that is not inherent within any Descendant to do on their own. The soul is the main gateway to spell casting for Descendants.

The Soul can run out however and that depends on your experience mastering your soul. If a Descendant uses all of their soul's essence they cannot perform any more spells. However they can still manipulate their surroundings with their minds or natural ability. If they attempt a spell in this state they will not be hurt, just their spells will not work. If one continues to strain their soul essence with a spell they cannot cast it will backfire and damage them.

I will add that if you cannot decide on a limit on your characters soul essence I will provide one for you, in game. When I tell you you've reached your limit that's when you'll know.
