A little about myself and why Im here. Im an adult mid twenties with a serious addiction to fantasy stories and art, metaphysics and dimensions. Plus history and politics. My stories rarely involve fairy dust and rainbows. I aim to reflect the deepest and rawest parts of humanity into my work. Then have it reflect back to others.

I have a roleplay called Ascension. A tale of 7 bloodlines. 5 elements combine with Dragons & Seraphim. Mix them as you will. Then explore and create in a changing world. I've out years of thought into this roleplay. If you're looking for a high fantasy with a active GM. If you love long term roleplays, ones where characters grow old and die. "You don't trust me, do you? You're just like the others... Why do you look at me like that? After everything that I said to you..." Lila asked, obviously angry at him.
"It's not like that." His face showed a slight wince as if he had been stabbed. He looked tenderly into her eyes as he spoke. He was nearing desperate for her to not feel negative towards him. As they walked he kept a watchful eye on their back. None followed, not even a guard. The blood and bodies would take days to clean. It was a humiliating thing to be ambushed by the Aion in the Kings home.
Lila continued. Anui listened with a look of remorse as her pitch grew less beautiful and more hostile and unhinged. Also with the shaking of sorrow escaping through her voices soul.
"You want to know everything? Fine then!" Lila said, as tears started rolling down her face.
"I was raised by the Aion to be a weapon. Nothing but a tool for them to reach their goals. I killed many people for them. It didn't matter the race, age, sex... I simply obeyed orders for a long time. Oblivious to the fact that I wasn't an orphan like they told me, but I actually had a family I didn't have a purpose, nothing to live for and so, I simply followed their orders. They brought me here and told me nothing but for me to 'be ready'. I never knew that all this would happen. You know the rest." Lila said, looking down with a mix of sadness and anger on her face.
Anui nodded briefly and awkwardly. He seemed unable to function entirely correctly when Lila was angry at him. Though he did his best to listen while opening the doors to the underground lake. He let Lila follow as she stomped her feet in frustration. Anui's posture lowered as he seemed to bow to Lila in apology. Before stopping at the boat and turning to look at her with a serious face as if he was too hurt by what she said to be afraid of her hurting him.
"When I got here, I heard about the Moriarty family. I still don't know what happened to them exactly, but I can imagine. Mirror was the one I always served. Oblivious to the fact that he stole me from my family... I never cared about that before but now I know his true self... Treating me and every other Nayu like beasts to be tamed. Nothing more." Lila completed.
"I see.." Anui said turning to look at the glowing tree afar. She did not seem to notice it upon entering but its light was the only source of it within this underground lake. Luminescent fish swam within the waters. Though their light was their own.
"Why have you brought me here?" She asked, still with the same expression.
"When I was old enough to understand my purpose... I would come here to be at peace. The still waters and the soft white light of the tree. It was my only comfort away from my heritage." He turned to the boat and began to walk to its rope keeping it anchored to the shore. "This tree is ancient. It is said to be one of the few natural sources of twilight." He pulled the rope up and off a wooden fence. Then he turned to Lila. "What you went through.. What he did. It means nothing to what we have. With you by my side I can inherit the throne and put an end to the Aion. I will do this for you, I swear it."
As he spoke he gently approached Lila and grasped her hand. Tenderly he looked into her eyes and placed his lips on the back of her hand before interlocking fingers and walking her over to the boat. "You are Lila Moriarty. Reclaim what you have lost." He lifted his arm to help her balance while stepping onto the boat. After she was on he stepped on and sat looking at her. He grabbed two rows and began to pull them forward and back. The boat moving gently towards the tree. "I apologize if I seemed as if I did not trust you... Never has a royal betrayed another for an Aion. So I knew. But it could have been that you were not a Moriarty and a Nayu of low blood who WOULD kill us. Now knowing what I know... I feel as though I cannot rest until your pain is avenged. I have never known.."
Anui's head lowered as he spoke. A calm sadness enveloping his vocals. "I never knew.. What it meant to be what I am, who I am. Until I've met you. Now my purpose is clear. Protect you."
Vrondi
"Any question you might have, you need but to ask. I will be happy to answer them."
Allo nodded in respect. "We will have to discuss privately later. I'm afraid now is a time for serious discussion. A matter to be resolved here and now, in a way." She spoke with a relaxed tone. As if she was talking cordially but her straight sitting and stone like expressions gave a aura of how serious she was. It was not a time, in her narrowed eyes, to reveal too much her love for Sophia and Dragons in general.
"Penetrating the armor is possible... But I need to have more details regarding this very armor. There are some spells and rituals that can render something virtually indestructible... But those spells and rituals themselves are not. It is merely a way on how to approach and how to attack said armor." Sophia said, thinking.
"Well Sophia I will have you know it is made of the scales of the Dragon God who ruled over your kind long ago. Even you were under him at one point. His hide was said to be impenetrable by forces beyond our understanding. Yet which kind of force was not specified." Vrondi spoke with a pondering hand and an equally ponderous expression as his hand met his chin.
"I know that said armor is a treasure for your kingdom... But I need to know more details about it."
"As said it is made from the dragon god. How it was created is a secret of the Divine who created us. Perhaps it is the secret to the ancient gods power that allowed the Divine to slay him and carve his body into gifts for each king and queen of the land." Vrondi looked up at the ceiling of this room. It had a painting of past kings and queens discussing at this table, always with Vrondi at the end. "This is unlike ever before. We must delve into the secrets of the far past to solve a recent issue. This is why I have tasked a group of warriors to find an ancient sight seer who lives her days in peace upon the mountain of Vrondi. She will be able to give us eyes into the past."
Allo turned to look at the others before speaking. "It must be hard to spare your forces for such a trivial thing." She spoke up, Magnixx nodding in a halfhearted agreement. Eyes lowered. "Fotia has forces to spare. My men make good soldiers and are available for employment if you so need them." He said with a smirk as he looked Vrondi in the eyes, then to the others in a motion to forward it to them. None accepted and Vrondi shook his head. "The band I sent out are formed from all over this land. They will be the beginning of the new allied forces. With each of your agreement they will fly a banner under all of our names. To assemble exceptional talent across the land. With this we will begin the first step to unified power!"
The room clapped, Allo, Magnix, Tydra and their followers. However Sleeth remained ever so silent whilst sitting arms crossed in his chair. A frown on his face. He did not seem pleased. "Unification...? What nonsense.." He silently whispered.
A gentle song seemed to echo in the minds of everyone within and near the waters. She looked with large eyes and a petite head and frame at those who stood before her and her beast. Her song became more erratic. She looked at Constance with a blank stare and she slowly moved between her and the beast. Slow she walked. With a graceful step that saw her feet stepping on the surface of the water. Before Constance she stood. "We have a pact with the Sol to keep our waters pure. They have failed us." Her voice rang like a bell in their ears. "As such we will clean our own waters for now. How do you plea for transgressing on sacred land?"
The Cave entrance was elevated around the north east if facing it from Vrondi. It was direct from Nero. Once inside one would find it to be similar to a castle. Stairs and places to keep things such as storage rooms. It would then lead to a bridge.
This led to another entrance which led to another hospitable place. With spiraling stairs that lead to a room. In this room were many mystic orbs. Brimming with mysterious forces. There an old woman would be sitting with her hood on. Rocking back and forth in her seat while whispering into an orb. The sun's rays shining down from above glass ceiling to decorate the room below with a cascade of bright colors. "So what brings you here?" She would ask the first to enter her room.
"Stand in the ashes of a dead city and ask a thousand ghosts if honour matters. You will hear only silence."
Isaya Niscent
Age
24
Blood
60% Oro, 40% Nayu
Gender
Female
Sex Preference
Heterosexual
Height
5'4"
Weight
131lbs
Appearance
Isaya is a little on the short side, and quite thin. Her pale skin is the clearest sign of her Nayu heritage - her hair is dark, but not black, and her vision is adequate. Her Oro heritage, though more prominent, is actually the one she shuns the most; her scales, saphire-blue like her eyes, are mostly on her chest, upper arms, and upper legs, so she never dresses in a revealing manner, and she is very glad that, unlike most of those of Oro blood, she has no wings, a trait shared by many in her family.
Apparel
Personality
Isaya has a deeply ingrained mistrust for others, having only ever really trusted her adoptive father, Treo. As a result, she rarely socialises and tends to isolate herself from others, typically resorting to cynicism and sarcasm when her attempts to avoid others fail. Trusting the wrong person killed her mother, but she won't let it kill her. She hates vanity and arrogance, concepts she typically associates with her aunt, Allo Niscent, likely because of her. However, her refusal to trust others has necessitated independance, which can come across as arrogance, and therefore Isaya can seem hypocritical. She certainly doesn't come across as vain, though; if anything, Isaya hides her appearance, hating the resemblance to her aunt.
Faction
None, though perhaps some interest in joining the Dolofon, more as a means to a goal than a goal in itself.
Exp
Isaya is proficient in the use of her only weapon, a simple wooden staff. However, she has also learnt to use it in acrobatics and similar feats. Likewise, she is capable enough in what magic she knows, though that knowledge is very limited, just a couple of tricks she learned from another traveller in exchange for some bodyguard work along their journey, which Isaya has developed through practice. She rarely relies on her bloodline powers, preferring to use her own methods, although she can and frequently does use her earth/gravel manipulation to create a dust cloud. Her speed is only slightly greater than that of a typical human, though significantly superior to that of another Oro, while her strength is about three halves of what a typical human could perform. Her hide is tough enough to entirely deflect glancing blows of blades, though cleaner cuts will only be weakened, and blunt attacks wil get through altogether, while Isaya's ability to notice vibrations in the ground extends to about 40 feet for humanoid footsteps, with otherwise varying range based on the magnitude of the vibration.
Spells
Illusory triplets - Isaya can summon two perfects copies of herself, which act as mentally directed by her. They are not substantial, so they can inflict no damage, but make it difficult to keep track of which is the real Isaya. They are identical to her at the time she summoned them, so if she were to be cut, for example, afterwards, they wouldn't have the cut and therefore could be told apart from her, but if the cut were to happen before the summon, they would also have the cut.
Blink - A small, low-energy teleport of up to thirty feet to any location Isaya can see. She cannot move though gaps she couldn't normally fit through, but otherwise can move unrestricted by the environment. Additionally, if illusory triplets are active at the time Isaya blinks, she may have them both move as if they had cast the spell as well, though it is determined based on what she can see, since they cannot see anything.
Abilities/Powers
Night vision
Poison resistance
Blood consumption (optional, not necessary)
Bleed resistance
Tough hide and claws (no wings due to unique Niscent blood)
Strength boost
Improved speed (Niscent blood)
Earth/gravel manipulation
Ground detection
Hearing is more susceptible to damage by loud noises
(Oro weakness cancelled out by Niscent blood, would not be able to fly anyway due to lack of wings)
Surgical processes and healing take longer
Analysis - Isaya possesses an incredible ability to observe. If she has a minute or two to watch someone without being significantly disturbed, she should be able to notice almost anything that perception alone reasonably could.
Multitasking - Isaya is quite adept at focusing on multiple things at once, a side effect of extensive use of her illusory triplets. Generally, she can engage in one task physically, such as fighting or running, while focusing on something else mentally, such as performing deduction or making an alaysis.
Weapon
A wooden staff, typically carried slung over one shoulder. In case it ever becomes relevant, the staff is made of ash wood, and is 38mm thick.
History
Isaya's mother was Eolorn Niscent, a younger sister to the queen of Gaia, Allo Niscent, while her father was a Nayu by the name of Arn Galtro. Their relationship was not a healthy one - Eolorn had been born with bipolar disorder, which she had previously kept under control and in secret. However, her sister, Allo, had always been a role model to her - which ended painfully for her as Allo's success continued and she began to treat Eolorn, alongside several others she had previously been friendly with, dismissively, even harshly. When Arn first met Eolorn, he recognised her fragile emotional state and took advantage of it. Eolorn thought she was in love with him, and it was only a few months later that she was pregnant with Isaya. However, it was not long after that that Arn finally got tired of his fun, and dissapeared one night, leaving a letter behind explaining his true feelings in the most painful way possible. This was a final, fatal push for Eolorn - she took her own life within the week.
Only one other person in Gaia ever knew of the relationship between Arn and Eolorn, an elder brother of both Eolorn and Allo, Treo Niscent. He had always been opposed it, as he had been able to see the damage it would cause her, but had quickly realised he could not talk his sister out of it. It was he that adopted Isaya, and took care of her until she grew up. Her true identity had to be kept secret to prevent a scandal (oddly enough, many suspected that she was his bastard child), so Treo used the half-truth that she was an orphan he had taken pity on and adopted as an explanation for anyone who asked.
Isaya rarely left her home as she grew up; because it was safer this way, and because she had begun to harbour a slight resentment for the Oro people in general, and for the queen in particular. Her adoptive father had been taught to fight, by his own father, and so as soon as she was old enough she insisted that she was taught as well, by him. He agreed, having already been taught once by Allo not to dismiss a person's capability too early. Isaya did quite well, possessing no natural talent but making up for this with dedication and focus. Eventually, she decided to set out into the world, to learn from real situations rather than simple practice, an aimless journey which began around four years ago. What she never told Treo, or anyone else, is what she plans to do when she thinks she's ready. She still mourns the death of the mother she never met, and so Isaya intends to kill the two she holds responsible for her death: Arn Galtro and Allo Niscent.
Trivia
Nothing much.
Quote: "All my life I have lived by the claw, fighting for my people. But I wasn't enough. We fell, despite everything I did and all I sacrificed. Yet even though we were broken, and all is lost... I Stand.”
Name: ThranKaur. No last name.
Age: Really old. Even for dragons. Species: Dragon
Blood%: 100% Dragon
Gender: Male
Sex Preference: Hetero
Height: 25 Metres from head to tail. If in human form, he is still large at about nine feet.
Weight: (After a few calculations based on elephants and dinosaurs) 149 Tonnes. In Descended form his weight is simply divided, not removed, so he is 1.8 Tonnes. (For the above I based his specifics off of Smaug. If i’m thinking too big, please let me know.)
Physical appearance:
Dragon:
Descended
In his Descended form, aside from maintaining his white hair, he also gives off an almost unnatural feeling of regality, despite his rather rough appearance. Underneath his clothes are small white scales that cluster around the joints of his limbs.
Apparel:
Vehicle: Himself and 150-200 mph when flying.
Personality: ThranKaur is old, and this is reflected in his personality. He’s quite often grumpy and finds other people to be annoying and loud, due to centuries of solitude. He looks down on anything that isn’t a dragon, and even then he expects deference from any that are younger than him. Despite his age and aura however, he is quite rough around the edges and foul mouthed, quick to go off in an effort to scare people away from him. Occupation: Is creepy hermit a job?
Faction: Dragons no longer rule the world, so he’s Neutral.
Pet: “Own... a dragon? No bloody way. And the little gits we used to rule don’t bloody last long enough, and complain all the damn time.”
Adv. App.: Old Grump Dragon so N/A
Exp: From birth ThranKaur was... nothing much actually. He had very little talent compared to his sibling hatchlings. The only advantage he did have on them was his size and dedication. So he put them to use, learning the art of being a dragon from any who would teach him.
Combat, flight, magic. He learnt as much as he could from those that would train him. And when he had nothing left to learn, he moved on to someone his lee who could teach him.
Through this training he refined his combative and magical abilities into as finely a honed force as he could manage. He utilised a style that emphasised brute force and size, and focused upon the accuracy of his magic, allowing him to intricately control cold and heat.
During his imprisonment he was starved for a great amount of entertainment. Thus, when the first descendents appeared on his island he took the chance to assume their form with his magic. From there he would train and attack settlers in that form, eager for the distraction from the mind numbing boredness that was his isolation.
Spells: Flame Wreath: ThranKaur is capable of wreathing his entire body in white flame hot enough to easily melt through steel and stone. He is capable of doing this is any form without receiving any damage.
Frost Armour: ThranKaur covers himself in durable ice, creating an almost impenetrable armour as well as further augmenting his attacks. When in a more humanoid form, this instead crafts him a suit of half-plate armour.
Abilities/Powers: Being a full blooded dragon he has access to all the benefits and drawbacks that his kind are gifted with. His body is extremely durable, with very keen senses and the ability to manipulate heat and cold as well as shapeshift. However he is also quite slow, his heart is vulnerable behind softened scales and ribsand his transformation is imperfect.
Weapons: None. The only humanoid weapon he carried now lies abandoned and rusted away in a long forgotten battlefield somewhere.
History: ThranKaur was once a powerful dragon lord, among the highest echelons of his people as his raw power allowed him to dominate all those around him. He ruled with greed and force, beating down any who opposed him in true dragon fashion. This was his downfall. His actions garnered him many an enemy of those below him and they eventually handed together to strike him down.
Fields were torn asunder as the landscape itself was changed while the climactic battle raged. Eventually however, the dust settled and ThranKaur was defeated. Beaten and broken, the dragon was imprisoned upon the island chain to the far south of the Draconic territories, doomed to stay there for all his life as countless centuries passed. It was this isolation that saved him from the repercussions of the Dragon War.
Unknown to him, in the twilight hours of his imprisonment his jailers were struck down by their own descendants in a bid for freedom and the ability to govern themselves.
His many years on the islands cultivated in his presence being known as ‘ancient force of nature’ to potential descendent settlers, as any who tried to land upon he shores of his home soon found themselves repelled or simply killed outright in the name of preserving his peace. However, even Dragons can get bored and ThranKaur soon found himself becoming restless. It had been many years since he had stretched his wings for anything more than a few minutes, and he had grown bored with his island and the dull animals that inhabited it. So he took a chance against his (now long dead) captors. He left.
His shadow, titanic as it was, sparked a panic throughout the villages of Tearianaris as he flew, touching down and swiftly shifting his shape to a familiar humanoid form at the border of Vrondi and Gaia. Clothing himself, as a disguise against these strange creatures and his jailors, he stole into Vrondi and followed the paths set out for him, eventually leading himself to Sunfire. Eventually learning of the fate of his people from the local guards, he managed to get his way into the city, ready to experience what this new world had to offer.
Trivia: Despite having access to one of the largest sources of Plutonium, Australia has no nukes. Fun fact.
Name: Syra Renlix Age: 24 Species: Descended Blood%: 20% Sol, 20% Tyro, 20% Nayu, 20% Oro, 20% Lassa Gender: Female Sex Preference: Bi Height: 5'4 Weight: Slight Physical appearance: As a big old mongrel, Syra can be a bit confusing to look at. Predominantly silver with gold highlights. Her legs and forearms/hands fade into a dusky silvery blue, and her eyes are a light, bright blue. Her hair is short and choppy, dark, fading to silver at the tips. She has very short, brown horns, and there are various markings on her face and body. Apparel: Syra wears light clothing that gives her mobility and protection. Her mixed heritage means she's mostly resistant to the elements, but she likes having pockets. Vehicle: She doesn't have a vehicle, but she can drive or figure out most of them. Personality: Syra is generally a bit nervous. She's clever, and learns well and quickly, but she's nervous around other people in social situations. A cocktail party is her worst nightmare. She's clumsy, but she knows a little about everything, and the areas she knows, she knows very well. She will not hesitate to give orders if a solution occurs to her or if her knowledge can aid a situation. She is also sure of herself in battle, having fought many before and being completely confident in her abilities and exactly what they'll do. She likes to have clearly defined roles and boundaries, and is great at improvising within those boundaries. If you throw something unknown at her, she will absolutely need to process it and figure out what it is. Occupation: Spell scout Faction: Magoi Pet: She hates animals and tries to avoid dragons as a matter of course Exp: Syra was taken into a mercenary band where she was taught two spells by an older member of their group. With this knowledge and a desperate need to prove herself, she came up with the theory for a new spell (Freezeframe) and was able to teach herself the basics of it. Eventually, she came under the training of a powerful man by 'betraying' her gang in order for her to be taught properly. He taught her a new spell and helped her power up the ones she already knew. After the death of her gang, Syra went to the Magoi, where she was trained and her skills with her current spells were honed. She has read more on spellcraft than half of the scholars in the Magoi and has been hunting treasure, fighting bandits, and finding spells for years. Spells: Freezeframe-Syra can freeze everyone and everything within her range into place. She is able to move around within this space and adjust the range of the freezing. The smaller the range of freezing, the longer she can hold it for. If she's holding a whole room of people, she'll be lucky to get more than a few seconds, but if she's only freezing a very small area around herself, she can hold it for up to a minute Double vision-Syra can make copies of herself and sort her power along different ratios. If she has one, she can make it an empty illusion and keep all her power, or she can send half of her awareness into that being and allow it to affect the rest of the world at the loss of 50% in her actual form Eye of the storm-Syra can use this ability on herself and on others, clearing the mind of any distractions, and enhancing the reflexes, thinking speed, physical abilities, and soul power of the target Wonderwall-Syra uses this to summon a wave of energy, which can be used as a forcefield around herself and possibly others if they're in range. More commonly, Syra puts this around her hands or feet to make her attacks strong and her body practically untouchable. Abilities/Powers: Electricity resistance, bleed resistance, night vision, bright light resistance, hot blood Weapons: Syra has a basic gun of a couple of configurations. She uses it to mostly shoot poisons and potions, and to fire ropes to hard to get to places. She's only ever actually shot someone with it like, twice, but she insisted on taking something to hit people with if she was going out into the world looking for spells. History: Syra was born in as close as you can get to slums. With no real idea who her parents were or who would take her in with her obviously mixed heritage, Syra was lucky to make it through her earliest years. She joined up a few streetgangs where she spent most of her energy avoiding guard patrols and learning that she'd always get moved along when someone figured out she had night vision or this or that resistance, marking her as different. She eventually found a place to call home, with others like her, who had nothing, no blood, no fantastical abilities, and far too much free time. This small gang initially got her in as a good distraction-a little thieving girl was always a useful object. Through her time with them, she learnt two spells-Wonderwall, and Eye of the Storm, in their most basic of configurations from one of the older members of the gang, who she followed at the heels and practically worshipped. She worked in this gang for several years, travelling the nations and taking on jobs for whoever asked them. She spent most of her time in libraries, learning things, anything, really, just to keep herself useful. Over many years, she taught herself Freezeframe from book learning and practice, though at the time she could only really freeze a few feet for a few seconds. She kept that a secret. She has a good head for danger and threat assessment, and is very good at dealing with the unknown because of the amount of strange tasks they were asked to complete. This is mostly because she knew how the team worked, and exactly what she could do though, and if those elements are more unstable, she'll probably just run away. Eventually, she was performing a grand heist, where her role was to give up the others. She told a powerful man that if he taught her his double vision spell and promised to train her, she would give up the locations of her gang. It was all planned out of course, and for the most part, it worked. Syra learnt the spell, got good training out of the guy, the gang was able to successfully ambush the man's guards who'd been sent to ambush them, and take the treasure their client had asked for. Unforuntaely, whatever they took was too powerful, and killed them all. Syra never saw them again. As soon as she heard about their deaths, Syra ran. Again with nowhere to go, and nothing to her name but her hard won spells, she continued honing her skills, pushing the limits of the spells she had, until she found her way to the Magoi, where, with her four spells, she was taken into the ranks. There, she was taught to better her spells, increasing her energy recovery and the tightness of her powers. After a few years of training, she was sent out as a spell scout, to seek out new spells, to continue learning and finding new things. This has brought her to Sunfire.

Sex Preference: Heterosexual
Height: 5’4
Weight: 125 lbs

Personality: Valeria despite the numerous hardships she’s dealt with in her life, has a light-hearted personality. An appreciation for life and for people. She knows how to talk to both the upper and lower classes and be approachable. By that same token however, she can be cold and distant, blending in when she wishes, particularly when in the presence of someone she distrusts. A bit overconfident in her skills, with a temper that could scorch the earth if she’s angered, thought that’s a rare occurrence.
Occupation: Thief
Faction: N/A
Pet: N/A
Adv. App.: N/A
Exp: She's had to commit theft to survive ever since she was a child, being taught by her older brothers. She's best at scouting, lock picking and breaking and entering, but is fairly competent at the rest as well. Also, a competent duelist proficient in three styles of fighting: Rapier, Rapier and Dagger, and Dual Dagger, she was taught in these arts by a former noble who'd fallen from grace. Incredibly agile, and stealthy despite her flaming hair. Spells: N/A Abilities/Powers: Night Vision, Poison Resistance, Blood Consumption, Hot Blood, Heat Detection, Fire Breath, Heat Resistance, Adrenaline Boost
Weapons: A rapier, a dagger, and a more ornamental dagger she’d stolen before.
History: Valeria was born an orphan on the streets of the capital city of Fotia. She was lucky to have survived passed her 3rd year with the help of an incredibly low-class family, the Everfords. The parents, full blooded Tyros, raised her along with their two boys as an adopted daughter, though many couldn’t tell that she was half Nayu due to her stronger physical Tyro traits.
She and her older brothers took over stealing and working for food once they were old enough, allowing Valeria to gain speed, agility, and very fast hands. At year 10 she was assaulted by drunken vagrants, but saved by a former noble who'd fallen from grace. She never learned this stranger's name, but he taught her self defense using the sword and daggers. When she reached her 15th year, her eldest brother was caught stealing from a rich nobleman, and was sentenced to be executed. Valeria, desperate to save her brother’s life, challenged the noble to a duel, where she unleashed her Nayu side and sucked the blood of the noble dry.
Her brother was free, but her name was tarnished and a bounty was put on her head throughout Fotia. She was forced to leave the city, and her family behind. She traveled southwest, through the volcanos until she reached the lands of Vrondi. The bright sunlight and lush wildlife endeared themselves to her very quickly, and once she arrived in the town of Sunfire, she never wanted to leave. Unfortunately, old habits die hard for her, and she couldn’t stop herself from stealing the occasional item to keep herself going. She did make sure it was only from the rich who didn’t need such lavish items though, and made a business out of catching other thieves. The town was so pure in her eyes, that she felt it needn’t be tarnished by her kind. Her motto is “It takes a thief to catch a thief.”

Quote: "Oh you think darkness is your ally? But, you merely adopted the dark... I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man. By then, it was nothing to me but blinding."
Personality: Kyvro doesn't trust very easily. When he was young his life was absolutely horrible and the people he once trusted betrayed him. This caused him to retreat into the shadows, longing for death for many years. As he grew older, his words and please for help grew quieter, until they were no more. That was until somebody reached out a hand to help him. He was still wary of them, but he accepted their help, if only to leave and find his way on his own. As for his likes and dislikes, they're really rather vague. He definitely has a few, but he never really acts on them. First of all he loves to hunt, but unfortunately his love for hunting is mostly restricted to darker hours. This is due to the sun or any bright lights hurting his eyes. He has a special pair of goggles of a sort, that do allow him to see better during the day, but he hates wearing them. So he almost never does. Kyvro also can sleep anywhere, he enjoys it because it was the only time during his enslavement where he could find solace. Despite being a Dolofon member, Kyvro hates people who would dare to enslave others. Whenever he comes across this situation he always tries to help. And despite not trusting anybody, he loves kids. He loves the innocence about them and when it's robbed away from them he gets extremely mad. And despite loving kids, he gets kind of hurt when they choose to run away from him because he is nice to them, would never even dream of hurting one. That's why he turns down any contracts that involve hurting a child.
Occupation: Kyvro is best described as a hunter or mercenary for hire (depending on what's available and where/when).
Faction: Dolofon
Pet: N/A
Adv. App.: N/A
Exp: Kyvro didn't have much experience in fighting or anything of the sort for most of his life. When he turned 18, he was released from his prison and enslavement by somebody. He didn't know who they were because their face was covered. When he ran far enough away from home, he found a hunter. He did not trust the man, but he taught him how to use several weapons. The bow and arrow being one of them, and his favorite of them all. He was also taught by this man how to control his natural abilities due to his blood types. The man also taught him how to use and ability called 'Far Sight' and another that let him enhance his arrows with the four different elements, simply called 'Element Enhance'. It was only a small spell and could be cast multiple times, nothing large scale. After living with the man for two years, Kyvro trusted him a bit, but decided it was time for him to head out on his own, and sought out the Dolofon to work as a mercenary.
Spells: 'Far Sight'- Far Sight allows Kyvro to see targets clearer for many miles ahead of him as long as its a clear shot. Much like a Hawk's vision, it mainly just zooms everything in. However, most of the time he uses it to scout ahead and won't be able to reach his targets with his bow and arrow. 'Element Enhance'- Allows him to enchant his arrowheads with an element. Will either fly faster with wind, pierce harder/poison with earth (50% chance to poison, 50% chance to pierce harder; effects are unknown until it makes contact with target), burn with fire, or cause the wound to bleed worse with water. He can also apply the spell to other smaller weapons such as daggers (for a fee c; ).
Abilities/Powers: Nayu side- Hemotoxic Venom Fangs, Poison Resistance, Blood Consumption, Night Vision Oro side- Bleed resistance, Thick blood
History: Kyvro was born to a Nayu mother and a Nayu/Oro father who were merely traders and farmers. He had a good life until he turned 5. There was a bad drought where him and his parent's lived that year and because of it, all of their crops were killed. His parent's were desperate for money to live and support themselves, but that's it. To support themselves. Instead they sold Kyvro off into slavery to a wealthy noble where they left him for 13 years. For 13 years he was worked to the bone with many sleepless and food-less nights. He would cry and plead and pray for somebody to come save him. Until he began to lose hope when he turned 12. From there on he accepted his fate and worked silently. He spoke to nobody and kept to only himself. At night he was locked back in his cell, hands tied to a wall behind him. One day the manor he was kept in, was broken into and him and the other slaves were released, he was 18 then. He did not trust this person, but knew that it would be his only chance out so he took it. When he ran as far as he could, he stumbled across a hunter who took him in and told him about the different factions, run by the other races. The man's name was Iesirith and he taught him how to hunt with the bow and arrow, use a few spells, and control his natural blood abilities. After two years of living with Iesirith and learning from him, Kyvro left him behind with a thanks and sought out the Dolofon faction to join as a mercenary for hire. One that would take any job no matter the cost. In a way, his years of darkness spent in the dark and damp cell, molded him into the person he is today. Ruthless and untrustworthy, most would say. But like everything else, when light is shined is on darkness, something new is revealed. Maybe he'll change upon meeting somebody, and maybe not, but only time will tell.

Character sheet: Quote: "Nothing is permanent in this wicked world, not even our troubles. But through those troubles we learn from our past mistakes." Name: Ellanarys Feearden Age: 21 Species: Descended Blood%: 100% Sol Gender: Female Sex Preference: Hetero Height: 5' 6" Weight: 138 lbs. Physical appearance: {Face} {Full Body} {Horn Shape} Ellanarys' body shape can be described as a 'pear'. While her shoulder width is more petite, her hips are wider than her shoulders and give her the appearance of the 'pear'. Personally, Ellanarys doesn't like her body shape, due to the amount of things she always bumps into with her wider hips. She always jokes that if it wasn't for how much physical activity she really does, looking for herbs in the woods, than she would weigh more than she does. Ellanarys has learned to be careful of what lurks in the forest, so she is extremely light on her feet. She tries to avoid making noise while walking, as much as possible, giving her walk a graceful glide almost. Her parent's taught her best when it comes to posture as well. Telling her to always keep her head high and walk with a straight back. In order to do that, she always walks with her shoulders back and her chin up. As for her horns, they start above her ears. Their base is wide and about the size of her palm. They're a bronze in color and have a lighter tawny undertone. Instead of going straight back against her head, they come more out to the sides of her head. At first they go up slightly and begin to curl, as if it was a ram's horns, but then they dip back down sharply, while slightly turning and thinning out to the width of about three fingers. Ellanarys' horns then turn back up and curl inwards, almost touching where the horn dips down. By the time her horns end, they come to a point and are only the width of her pinky finger. Apparel: {Heirloom} Vehicle: N/A Personality: Ellanarys is a generally upbeat person, who is very sensitive. She can get upset over very minor things, but whenever she sees somebody hurt, her first instinct is to help them. In fact she doesn't like seeing anything. or anyone. in pain. Which is why she joined the faction she did, well, also partly due to the fact that her parent's were in it. Ellanarys is a rather social person and always tries to make people laugh. Sometimes she can be too much, and she'll realize that herself so she'll try to tone herself down. She always tries to remain optimistic, in even the worst situations, and always looks for good in people and things. However, even Ellanarys accepts that fact that not everything in the world is good, but she believes not everything should bring you down and make you see the worst side of things either. Occupation: A healer Faction: Taxis Pet: N/A Adv. App.: N/A Exp: Her experience is very limited so far, for she has been mostly trained in the art of Light Healing and spells, used more for defense or communication/gathering information. However, through concentrating over the course of her life, with many hours of work, she has been able to successfully learn some Offensive Light Magic spells. Well, it was really only one spell that created a whip of light, using the light around her (sun only). And the strength of the whip depends on her will, although it's usually weak because she doesn't want to hurt somebody. But, it's only for self-defense if needed. Ellanarys really isn't a very violent person, so she prefers the defensive light magic she was taught growing up. If assigned a mission though, Ellanarys will complete it without complaint despite a possible emotional breakdown after. She'll always bounce back though. After all, one must stay optimistic. Spells: Light Healing- Ellanarys' main spell. She uses light around her to heal wounds or sickness' of people. If light is not readily available she will use whatever she had 'charged' from the sun. Unfortunately this requires her to take an extra hour to recharge in the sun. She rarely needs to use her own stored energy though, so that is a plus. Photo-kinetic Whip Creation- An offensive spell she learned by herself over many years; it summons a whip of light energy for her to use in self defense. The strength of the whip relies on her will to harm, so therefore her whip is usually very weak, since her will to hurt is never high. Abilities/Powers: Since she is 100% Sol she is able to use any of their passive abilities. Although this comes with the drawbacks of having to 'recharge' under sun for longer and her being physically weaker than other blood types. Although she doesn't need to be physically stronger for what she does anyways. Weapons: A small dagger. History: Ellanarys grew up as an older sister to two little brothers, who were always a handful for her parents. While Ellanarys was studious and wanted to learn as much as she can, she also had to take care of her brothers if her parents went away for brief periods of time. They were always getting injured and all Ellanarys had known how to do was apply herbal pastes, that their father had made, to their wounds after falls or rough-housing. While her father mixed medicinal herbs and imbued some light magic into his poultices, Ellanarys' mother preferred a direct approach to Light Healing. Both of her parent's had learned the magic, along with defensive light magic during an apprenticeship together. Wanting to protect her little brothers, Ellanarys asked her parent's to teach her what they knew in an apprenticeship of her own. When she was the age of eight, she began to learn from her parents. When she was 16, they were killed in an ambush when aiding the sick and wounded, of a raided travelling caravan. When Ellanarys learned the news, she didn't know how she was going to take care of her brothers. So, using the knowledge she had learned at the time Ellanarys worked to pay for her families living expenses as a Healer. Two years later she discovered her family heirloom, a set of armor, along with a brief letter written by her parents many many years ago. The letter stated how they were involved with the Taxis, which Ellanarys never knew, and what their job's were in the faction. Deciding her brothers were old enough, Ellanarys wished them well and set out to join the Taxis faction to learn more about her parent's job in the faction. From there on, she learned more healing skills then she ever would've thought she could've. She had more help with her defensive spells and managed to learn her one Photo-kinetic Whip Creation spell on her own, despite having a weak will to do damage to somebody. If necessary she will carry out any mission assigned to her. She may break down afterwards, but will complete anything without complaint. When not helping with the Taxis faction, she spends her time running a Healing business selling poultices and her service of Light Healing. This brings us to where we are today. Trivia: TBD

He saw mages and Sol helping to aid the innocent, and while he wasn’t a mage nor a healer, he thought that he could make an excellent shield for them. So he joined their ranks and quickly climbed to a respectable position for his hard work and dedication to the cause.
