More and more people entered the council room as Marina quickly sat back, shutting her mouth. She hoped no one had seen her fail miserably at her first speech. And as she sat silently, arguments ensued. So many that magic began to fly. Before she could even use a shield to shield herself, Marina got the urge to CLUCK.
"Cluck--" A quick word came out.
Scara looked at their master with large eyes and confusion.
"Baaaawk!" Marina covered her mouth. "Cluck!"
What in the world?!The next moment, the person known as Mortus told the Council that they needed to evacuate the castle as something was coming to attack. Marina turned and looked at Scara, who shrugged their arms while mouthing, "I don't fucking know."
Marina shook her head and then whispered to Scara, "Let Namwe and Hukot know to get to safety; send them a telepathic message now." She then turned around and watched as several people made their escape.
The one known as Ada summoned a golem and entered it as though it were some mechanical robot beast and tried to atomize the giant molerat coming for the castle. However, their attack resulted in a mechanical failure of sorts.
Marina stood and looked out one of the windows watching the giant molerat get closer to the castle. The windows and walls rumbled, and she watched with mixed horror and mixed amazement as the molerat leaped and dived into the hard rock and ground like a dolphin.
"Amazing," she said to Scara, who had already sent the message to Namwe and Hukot to find safety.
"But master, what are we going to do to stop the molerat from attacking the castle?" Marina looked at Scara and raised an eyebrow. She then turned around to the chaos behind her and shook her head.
"I mean... what do molerats even fear?" Marina asked Scara.
"Umm... snakes?" Scara replied while rubbing their silvery and sparkly beard.
"A giant snake sounds like a bad idea; we'd create a cycle of never-ending madness." Marina grinned at the thought, though.
"Oh, what about a giant trench?" Scara suggested.
Marina laughed. "Then what, we'd have a giant molerat traveling around the castle for the rest of time?" Marina shook her head. "No. We will summon lightning to electrocute this majestic beast."
Marina then wielded her staff and raised it in the air, her goal evident.
She let her magic fly, hoping that it would rain lightning across the molerat, either scaring it away from the castle or frying it to death.@Mae*action bolded and pinked*
