Took awhile, but finally managed to piece together the character.

Went for something pretty unorthodox for the Spirit... but hopefully it won't be an issue.
Name: Shakrais Mahavedya
Title: Tyrants Trove
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Grade: 3rd
Academy: Grand Academy of Song Knights' of Capella
Height: 185cm (6’1”)
Weight: 84kg
Personality: Shakrais is an egotistical narcissist who behaves as if the world, and all its inhabitants were created solely to serve and entertain him. He’s quite clearly a case of a youth who was spoiled rotten during his childhood, and as such seems to understand astoundingly little about how the world works. Despite being a simple-minded oaf in most situations, he firmly believes that wealth is the solution to all of the world’s problems. Trust is fleeting, righteousness is opinionated, and even things such as skill and strength are inevitably waxed and worn with the flow of time.
Wealth on the other hand can be sustained, and perhaps more importantly can purchase of all the above. A servant well-treated is unlikely to revolt, justice can be bought, and even the strongest of men need to earn a living. Like any good self-declared tyrant, Shakrais values wealth, power and women. And as a result can often be seen trying to employ the services of his fellow Song Knights, or unsuccessfully flirting with women who take his fancy. A habitual flirt who’s easily led on after a few simple words of praise, he’s often finds himself in sticky situations but has yet to come across an issue he can’t solve financially.
History: Shakrais was born the sole heir to a simple innkeep who had set up business in a small remote town on the outskirts of the Chopin Republic. The settlement was so insignificant at times that cartographers often forgot to add the village to the map, but that all changed several years prior to Shakrais’s birth. By the time the blond youth was born, the place had transformed from a sleepy little outpost village to a flourishing settlement that served as the frontier to an unexplored deposit of valuable metals and minerals. Having expanded their modest business to encompasse multiple establishments, the Mahavedya family were able to enjoy the affluent benefits of an endless wave of customers.
Being the son of the wealthiest family in the region certainly had its perks, but what made Shakrais renown to the populace was neither his family nor their wealth but his conceited whimsical personality; doing whatever he pleased as he knew any repercussion could easily be settled with his allowance alone. Worshipped by his peers and spoiled silly by the numerous servants under his parent’s care, Shakrais’s egotistic ways only worsened over the years… and things got even worse when Shakrais exhibited an aptitude in becoming a Song Knight.
Although Shakrais frequently neglected the chores he was assigned as a child, he gladly relished any and every opportunity he got to play his flute in public. Being a natural attention-seeker, he later educated himself on the art of dance, performing both flute and dance simultaneously. He continued to perform briefly even after his spirit ‘Quartz’ manifested, but was quickly cajoled by his parents into joining the academy.
Instrument and Weapons: Shakrais’s Instrument is an elegantly designed, jewel encrusted flute made of rare metal, tailor made by one of the lands most respected designers. The instrument alone is worth a small fortune, and yet Shakrais treats it with reckless negligence. Twirling and tossing the instrument around as if it were a stick he’d picked up by the roadside.
Shakrais prefers to fight using his bare hands, grappling his opponents and throwing well-aimed punches. He used to have a jewel encrusted sword, but started condemning weapons as boorish after her accidentally cut himself during practice.
Magic:
Transmutation: Shakrais one and only magic trick is the envy of all alchemists throughout the land. The ability to instantaneously change one metal into another, or to turn common dirt into precious jewels has served to constantly supplement his wealth. His ability is restricted to inanimate objects, however and isn’t quite suited to combat. Especially since he requires the target of his magic to be unmoving at the time of transmutation.
Name: Quartz
Gender: N/A
Element: Fire/Earth
Rank: E
Height: 50x20cm
Weight: 10g~50kg
Appearance: Quartz consists of five floating stones that orbit around Shakrais’s form. The stones are transparent and clear by default, but frequently change color in accordance with surrounding events. The five floating stones are able to change their size at will, though this is limited at 2x1cm, and 50x20cm. Despite being called Quartz, the stones have the density of diamonds and can’t even be scratched by common weaponry.
Personality: It’s not clear whether Quartz is sentient enough to have something as complex as a personality, but the crystalline stones that swirl protectively around Shakrais’s form frequently change color according to its surroundings. For example red signifies anger and hostility, whereas yellow indicates excitement and interest. Whether these colors are reflections of Shakrais’s mood, or an the response of an independent entity are yet unknown.
Powers: Shield & Projectile
While useful, Quartz doesn’t really seem to have any practical uses besides that of a common weapon. When in combat the stones freely gyrate an arm’s length away from Shakrais’s body, shifting and swerving to independently block any incoming acts of hostility, while also making sure to avoid collision with any of Shakrais’s own movements.
The stones can also be used as a projectile by Shakrais who can snatch and hurl any of the five stones at his opponent, propelling themselves in the direction they are thrown. Once outside the ‘control range’ of an arm’s length, the stones seem to lose sentience, dulling to a lifeless grey and remaining dormant until Shakrais re-enters the control range. The stones naturally gravitate around Shakrais with unnatural resistance, but violently intensive blows are able to knock them outside the control range.
