@Charzy: Not what I meant. But worshipping spirits? Isn't that technically god worship of a kind?

@jasonwolf: Yo, shouldn't we give 'the Old God' a name, so we don't have to call him 'the Old God' OOC? All I know so far is that he's a god, and he's old.
All these maps are hella confusing without dates on them!
Golly, this juicy lore should be in the document...

Edit: As I summarize the plot, what should I do? Should I create separate sections under the plot to summarize it within the scope of individual legends, or should I summarize the plot chronologically and cumulatively as it relates to all characters?
Where exactly are the Heartlands? Or at least, where would you put them?
@Dextkiller: Yes, everyone has the all-clear from me.

Edit: It also came to my attention that we don't have a patron god for a lot of concepts. Perhaps we could have patron gods for the classical elements for Zhan's sake, a god(dess) of nature for Markiel, etc.?
@Torack: Yeah, perhaps some of the philosophy behind the Seven Vows and Altim's Wisdom will contribute to the Federation's system of government, comparable the influence of Enlightenment thought on the US Constitution and on governments after the American Revolution.

@Dextkiller: That works then. After he crosses the frozen sea, he'll probably run into someone.
@Guilty Spark:

Daen lives towards the end of the Great Hundred Years War. Balor lives before the conflict.

That's about it. Nobody else occupies the time periods that are close to the war.
@Dextkiller: You can literally just copy-paste your original initial post if you want. Every post thereafter, it'll gradually get harder to try and repurpose old material to the point where you'll be writing completely new stuff, which will help you through until you're not as busy.
Here's the stand I'll take.

After the Sturmkirks, Volkimir's family, become vampires, the lands which they owned became a barbaric monstrosity, filled with all manner of craziness and shadow. Over time, the Stormlands become known as the Shadowlands. In the centuries preceding the events of the roleplay, the various states of Ansus unite to form the United Kingdoms of Ansus, which eventually rise against the Shadowlands and destroy its influence in the Horror Wars. All this occurs in the 2000 years before the events of the roleplay. The United Kingdoms of Ansus change their name to simply Ansus, with the longer name 'Federation of Ansus.' This happens after the lives of Crow, Ki'ira, Jacaerys, and Altim, who live in an era when piracy is dying and countries start to unify, much like Cynderia.

Before that, a cataclysmic war happens around 29000 PA and ends around 30000 PA. This war is called the Great Hundred Years War, and it is a war waged initially between 5 or 6 separate empires. Unrest after the war leads to balkanization, and the countries are thus split into anywhere from 30 to 100 warring, sometimes feudal states, with surrounding minor kingdoms and provinces. Daen lives towards the end of the Great Hundred Years War. Balor lives before the conflict.

Clarent, Jaralia, and Zhan's lives all precede the Horror Wars, and these three characters may not have anything immediate to do with each other. But they probably had some effect on history relevant to the time periods they lived in.

The rest lived in the time period before the Great Hundred Years war, and they lived closer in proximity to each other. We could probably write a history relevant to and connecting them too.

Is everyone game?
Alright, first IC post is up! You can have your character resurrect anywhere you want, and you can have your character wake up with either one artifact or no artifact at all. You may also include some sort of narrative of their dying moments or whatever, like I did.
