Actually you guys, a team name doesn't have to resemble a color. For example, Team Funky (FNKY?) from season 3.

ALSO, I don't think the arrangement of names has anything to do with the leadership. Recall season one. AFTER RWBY was announced as a team, Weiss was still surprised that Ruby was named team leader. Same goes for team JNPR. Despite being named with Jaune first, he still seemed shocked he was being to be official leader. That DOES appear to be the trend, but I think it's a matter of coincidence that it's occurred so often in the show.

Clothing Style:
He’s not much of a jeans and t-shirt guy. He’ll wear high-quality clothing that is custom made for him. His color scheme usually involves red in some form, typically as the primary color. He wears a necklace with a gold chain, displaying his symbol.

Hair Color:
Dark brown

Eye Color:
Green

COMBAT

Weapon:
His weapon’s name is Tyrfing. Tyrfing is a pair of black fist-wraps. On the palm of each is the symbol for red Dust.
Semblance:
His Semblance is called Saboteur's Touch. When Rowan touches anyone, their Aura is slightly drained (Very small amount). It has a cooldown of around 5 seconds, but can add up over several hits. It is constantly active, he has no control over it.

Dust:
Tyrfing is infused with red Dust, allowing for slightly explosive punches. The Dust has to be re-applied after every fight, as it runs out rather quickly.

Skills:
Rowan was trained extensively in both Wado-Ryu, as well as Krav Maga. He combines the two to form his own unique fighting style. He is able to move with the flow of the battle, and strike hard when the opportunity presents itself. He prefers to evade or deflect hits rather than absorb them. This allows him to be quite effective against single targets, but leaves him lacking against multiple targets.

Background:
Rowan was born into a family of wealth. His grandfather was a renowned doctor who had made several advancements in the world of health. Rowan’s father naturally inherited most of the family wealth when he died. Rowan never had to lift a finger to get what he wanted. When he went to school, his parents would bribe the staff to give him passing grades. Rowan was sent to combat school after showing interest in the Huntsmen. His parents had no power in this situation. He was all alone. Rowan struggled through the first two years. He had never really been exposed to a life outside of his own family, which caused sort of a culture shock as he went through combat school. He wasn’t the center of the universe anymore.

Character Theme:
Rowan was inspired by the Norse mythological figure, Svafrlami. Svafrlami was the grandson of Odin, which inspired Rowan's renowned grandfather. Svafrlami forced a pair of dwarves to forge him an extremely powerful sword, but the sword was cursed by the dwarves. One of the dwarve's names was Dvalinn, so I incorporated that into Rowan's name (D. Valinn). Rowan’s Semblance is similar to a curse, although not relevant to the curse placed on the sword.
