At least Bethesda treats us like we're people instead of wallets on legs that need milking machines, like EA seems to think customers are.

A wizard has a staff with a knob on the end of it, a wizard has a staff with a knob on the end, of it a wizard has a staff with a knob on, the end a wizard has a staff with a knob on the end!

@Banana, I'll edit it, but Dragon's question still stands.
@Feisty-Pants, less of an evil and more of a destructively hungry. No predator is evil, really. The behir is smart enough to plan, but not actively malicious

Spectrum smiled, even though her face was covered by her mask. "You could reach in..." She looked down at his hand, trying to make a platform for her. She put her fists on her hips and flew up to his nose. "I'm not Tinkerbell here, big guy. I don't get tired flying, If you want to help with that hand, put it over me, so I don't feet like I'm going to fall away." A noise like a unsecured fire hose gushing through a megaphone resounded from the second-highest floor, and the dark windows flashed. "Oh, right." Spectrum turned back to the giant and his purple undies. "I need you to grab the big eel thing making all that lightning and get it away from the harpy nest."

Something crashed inside, and she turned around again. "Just reach in when you hear me yell. I'll get it close to the wall for you!" She darted back into the building to see the behir chasing... a devil? Wait, that was the same guy who was fighting with the angel. "Hey! Devilman!" she shouted to him. "Bring it this way! I've got a way to get rid of it!"

"Thanks for the support," Dragon said, patting Magus' back again. One of the younger epics reached forward to the snapper's neck and... Dragon opened his mouth, but it took him a while to put together the words. "Are you massaging the monster?" He called, walking forward to give Vice a more normal hand. He'd overheard some people at the agency talk about recruiting the poor kid, since he was becoming quite a noticeable face around town. Dragon had no idea what they'd put the kid to work advertising; sunburn lotion? barbecues? It's difficult when your most marketable asset is a giant flaming arm.

He put his hand on Vice's arm just below the shoulder, flinching a little but sucking the heat enough that he didn't get burned. "Vice," he began, "unless you're trying to give it heartburn, you should just put it down back by the lake." He wiped his forehead clear of the mist Magus had created, putting his other hand on Vice's normal shoulder. "Remind me to tell you one day what happened the first time I took one of these things on, when I was just starting out." Sooner he got this fixed, sooner he could go shopping for the marsala ingredients. Maybe he'd phone that homegrown food guy and see where the best stuff was.
Hymn stretched, hooked his bow on his belt and stood next to Kiki. "Pardon, my fearsome and beautiful compatriot, but did the big green thug just declare himself our leader or theirs?" Admittedly, he didn't much care who was in charge. He'd been paid, and the caravan with all his stuff in was alright. All he needed was a warm bed for the night, and he was a happy man.

Again, he stretched, more to show off his bare chest and flat stomach than any muscle stiffness. He watched the half-orc shout at the entourage of goblins and briefly considered borrowing the face of a hobgoblin he had seen in chains once, just to contest for the right for servants. But no, these were goblins. They were all sorts of headache, especially if a nilbog possessed one of them. Let the thug have them.

Deciding the fight was over, Cas put Hymn away, shifting back into her natural form. Not quite as tall as Hymn, nor as muscled, she watched the black-clad human's height seemingly increase by an inch. She was rather pretty, in the same way the glow off a knifeblade catching the light was pretty. "You do look quite fearsome like that," Cas continued where Hymn had left off. Have you worked for a Guild of thieves?"
@TheHangedManIn your personal plot, you've been taken home by Mr Mass and Lady Lift while they were disciplining Techster. Otherwise, Blacklight has shown up, thrown people to a snapper, and there's a different monster attack happening in town where harpies are being riled up by a hungry monster. This is the next day to when you last posted.

@ihinka Nooo... Be adorables. Be safe.

@Mercenary Lord, possible. We can talk.

@Athoriel, I was actually more inclined towards killing Boost given what we discussed.
@ihinka, I like your plotline way too much. Teagan and Reagan and Megan are adorable...
@Obscurus, NPCs will be affected, but there are no stakes if player characters aren't. Details will become clearer closer to the time.

@Banana, effects are mine to decide. For example, I might remove your ghost arms, but then give you access to prosthetic arms via Techster. Similar things may happen to those who don't die.
@thewizardguy, I do that, and players complain that their characters were targeted unfairly. If the players volunteer, we can arrange a reroll or the circumstances of the death.
