@CollectorOfMyst, that's a possibility, but Sokka actually fought really well without bending (being a strategic genius), and Asami had her zappy glove. We can refer back to the general tech level post a few pages back for ideas. Perhaps your character has tasers or a mecha suit?

@December, This is technically possible. Or at least, reading chakra and chi through firebending. It was demonstrated in season 2 of LoK. Both Water and Fire have been shown to have a healing subskill; Water mends the body, and fire can (at least) diagnose the spirit. While a firebender would be unable to freeze someone, they might be able to cure chi-blocking or personality disorders through "force of will"
@pandapolio That's good for us. Though keep in mind we've never seen a firebender cool anything lower than ambient temperature. Even the lava that Sozin cooled was still hotter than the surrounding air. It seems to be more akin to the techniques used to defend oneself against other people's fire, rather than bloodbending.

@CollectorOfMyst, I resolved not to say anything about @pandapolio's idea, but we have seen firebenders draw heat from objects; Fire Lord Sozin helped Roku by cooling an erupting volcano in TLA Season 3.

@AllHollowsEve, I'd assume all players are on the same side, but there's space for an antagonistic ally.
@candlelitcraft, the RPG would begin in the Si-Wong desert (for Rosai and selected character), but move outwards. The new Avatar would be a surprise even to the White Lotus, who'd rapidly find her and take her somewhere to be trained (hence "White Lotus Member" as a role). So we'd have a global adventure. The antagonist we'd have to discuss via PM... I have an idea, but it's a little spoilery.
