@Joshua Tamashii@RoselettaNOLAN and
DALTONSmoke seethed from his lips followed by an eye roll at Joshua's senseless bravado. Nolan turned his bored gaze towards Joshua, puffing rings of smoke from his lips, but then turned his attention back to Amaya. It couldn't had been more clear that Nolan had decided to ignore Joshua's existence at the moment. He had nothing to say to him and truthfully, he didn't even want to try and start up a conversation with him. This guy just had a talent for pissing people off and truthfully, he didn't want to focus his anger onto the samurai or anyone else as a matter a fact. It wasn't worth the effort and he especially wasn't worth to waste his energy on him.
"It's not like I'm trying to be rude. I'm just honest with how I feel" The God Slayer pushed a wad of tabacco in his pipe and lit it up. The strong smell of a woody sweetness wafted in the air.
"So Lucas is back huh? I wonder where the little time bomb had gone to. He needs to find better role models than someone like me." Nolan puffed smoke from his lips, twisting and turning in the air. There is a knock on the door, to which Nolan turns his attention to.
"I'll get it!" Dalton chirped cheerfully, thankful that something broke the tension. He flew over and tugged the door open.
"Hi! What can we do you for?!"A woman with brown wavy hair similar to Nolan's own hair stood there next to a man with an elegantly groomed brown beard and slicked back brown hair who had a striking resemblance to Nolan. Just the sight of them alone caused Nolan's eyes to widen and a create gnarled grimace.
"Melody, Jay.""U-um, hello... Sorry, we didn't realize that you had company..." The woman said in a sheepish tone. It looked like Nolan was still very bitter about their last encounter.
@Zarkun@Burthstone ZEVSheesh, did Hunter ever had a stick right up his ass or what? Sure, he was pissed though he needed to keep a clear head before he did anything brash. But really, where were this kid's parents? Surely she had to have some form of family outside of the guild. This kid was way too young to not have any parents...Then again, what kind of parent would let their kid fight in the games? Hell, he wouldn't let his daughter take part regardless she would resent him for it.
Soon they encountered two women from Iron Engima. It seemed like Hunter had gone off ahead of them to the infirmary and soon a medic was sent flying through the air and smashed against a wall.
"God dammit Hunter!" Zev shouted at him while he had stormed out of the stadium. He could only sigh in frustration at his guild mate's recklessness.
"That idiot is going to get himself kicked out if he keeps it up."@Raijinslayer@Zarkun@LugubriousEnma had remained silent to Damian's opinion of the issue and perhaps he was right or perhaps he was wrong. Really, there was no way of knowing until they arrived. The best case scenario was that they would just have to contain the town until there were doctors with a cure that could make it to the city in time. The oni simply hoped that Eliza only embellished the situation and that it wasn't that bad. The worst case scenario would be a genocide and well, let's just say that's a topic that the yokai try to avoid as much as possible.
The entire guild, save for the contestants of the Games, had dispatched for the plague ridden town. Some were cheerful and whistling and some were definitely much grimmer than others. He himself was positioned by the God Slayer, Argus who was next to Bytan and Joakim. Slithering behind Enma was Arivaderci, the naga that he had defeated in his entrance exam. Hopefully she still wasn't upset with him beating her, but then again it was hard to tell with her. For the short time he had been there, he has yet to hear her utter a single word.
Somehow and for some reason, he had pulled out a large steamed pork bun from his sleeves and had begun to chomp down on it. His sleeves seemed to be magically always filled with food. Hearing Argus asking about the events of the match between Phoenix Wing and Frenzy Plant, Enma said,
"We won, but I wouldn't say that it was a victory that sits well with me. It was practically two against one and yet, Zander and Xyster were nearly done in by Nolan Waltz." He took another bite from the pork bun and walked in silence as he chewed. At least he had the manners to not eat and talk at the same time. After swallowing, Enma continued on with what he was going to say.
"Nolan's a God Slayer as well, but the level between he and you is huge. If you're a boulder then he's a meteor if you catch my drift."@CaitsFERRIS"Just a step away from murder." Ferris commented, standing up from his seat. He watched her pack away the equipment and cast a charm on, well it was more like he was checking her out, but hopefully she hadn't noticed yet. Well, he seemed to had stared off to space with his eyes directly towards her butt when she had told him to get going. Blushing slightly, he cleared his throat and said,
"Um, yeah." He rushed off ahead of her with his hands in his pockets.
Outside the stadium was cold, with the autumn leaves blowing around. The games sure felt long; it was autumn but it has felt like months since the start of the games. The streets were even just as busy and he was too tired to even think of walking to the hotel. He placed his fingers in between his lips and whistled loudly, waving for a carriage.
