Suzuki Yasha
Physical Appearance
He may not look like it, but he's rather well-toned and muscular from all of the farm work he had done back home.
Height: 5'6"
Age: 16
Sex: Male
Personality: Yasha is just your happy go-lucky country bumpkin who is quite innocent with how the world works as he has lived all of his life far out in the sticks. He has no filter when it comes to pure honesty and cannot tell a lie even if his life depended on it. Yasha is almost incapable of feeling the emotion 'hate' towards any living being and believes that everyone is good deep down inside their soul. He loves everyone and everything as well as stupidly energetic so expect him to be giving out hugs whenever he sees a friend. He is a cuddle monster, you have been warned.
He is extremely enthusiastic when it comes to pokemon regardless of what kind they are. He'd hug a Quilfish, get poisoned, and then hug it again just so it wouldn't feel bad for hurting him. Yeah, he may be a little dense, but his heart of gold makes up for it.
Biography: When he was a baby, Yasha was left on the doorsteps of a temple in the sticks of Johto. No one knows who his parents were and the reason they left him there, only his name and birthplace due to a letter from his parents stating that they couldn't take care of him. With no where for the child to go, they took him in. They raised him and provided everything what a child would need to grow up though they couldn't exactly satisfy this child's questions. They couldn't tell him who his parents were, where they are, or why they left him there because they themselves didn't know, but it's not like Yasha was bothered by it much. He was happy where he was.
As he got older, he helped the temple's monks with the farm work regardless if it was raining or snowing. Yasha didn't mind, he liked tending to the farm. His favorite chores when he got to interact with all of the pokemon living on the temple's farm. He'd brush the ponytas and rapidashes fur, milk the milktanks, gather the tauros, and so on. It was all fun...though as he got older, the more he wanted to know about his past. It wasn't to find out who his parents were, but to seek out the place he was born and find out what it was like and what kind of people lived in it. It was to find a sense of identity.
Perhaps the monks saw his longing to know about his homeland and how he wanted to go to it, so they decided to tell him where he was from. From there on, his adventure begins within Dewmeadow.

Some additional questions, to help develop your character and Pokémon…
1) You happen upon an injured Rattata in the middle of the path in front of you. You hear a sudden rustling from the large bushes on the path’s edge. Whatever is causing this noise has yet to reveal itself. What do you do?
"Why, I oughta help the little guy out!"
2) An enormous Snorlax has wedged itself between the railings of a bridge over a raging river. It seems to be a long way’s journey to venture around the living water. Your destination is across the bridge. What do you do?
"Can I nap with it? No? Awwww man."
3) You awaken in the middle of the night to find a Hoothoot rummaging through your pack and taking your food. Before you act, you notice two smaller, faint outlines on the horizon of the dying campfire light. The Hoothoot begins hopping towards her children with your food in tow. What do you do?
"I'd leave her be. I'll scavenge for food on my own."
4) You are walking with your Pokémon through thick forest when you hear a faint humming from the canopy above you. Quickly, a hive of Beedrill cuts through the foliage and descends toward you and your Pokémon. What do you do?
"Run like all hell."
5) You’ve defeated a trainer handedly, and you both call your Pokémon back into their Pokéball. The trainer falls to their knees and begins to weep. The trainer is a younger individual who only had one, low-leveled bug Pokémon to face. What do you do?
"Awww, don't be upset! You'll get better!"
