@The Kid Lantern Sorry for the lateness. I need to catch up in the IC and get Judah in on the action. Allspeed will most likely start off as some inconvenience to the pro-heroes. He's inexperienced so I wouldn't expect him to be of much help lol.
@ERode Oh so how is my SU fairing? Do I need to re-imagine my Sword Skills or are they fine?
The earth echoed heavy thumps.

Nove who had been caught up in greeting the dwarves with his friendliest smile was one the first to be on guard. The buckler in his hand was held tight to him now, his longsword just as at the ready. He looked to Grendrick, who now had a tautness to his muscles, a kind of tension that had been there before but now was more prominent.

A big one then, thought Nove as he stepped off to the side, hoping to catch a glimpse over the barricade of dwarves. He first caught sight of sickly green hand then his nose was assailed by a dank odor. It was vile, rotten, and earthly. Decay was the closest he could compare it too.

The smell of death manifested, stated the youth.

Like both Sir Siph and Grendrick, this behemoth had a aura of-sorts about it. Where Grendrick’s--to him at least--was feral but leashed, this behemoths’ was completely uninhibited. He felt it was dangerous to battle directly. He glanced at Grendrick now; the wolf-man was likewise growing primal. Nove grinned despite his fear, knowing that this worked in his and the team’s favor. Grendrick was, without a doubt, their ace in the hole now.

“This’ll be easy,” he mumbled underneath the rancor of the dual roars.

It wasn’t until Grendrick dashed off in pursuit of his prey had Nove rushed to action too. He ran behind his comrade, trailing the monster as closely as he could. Until that moment, he hadn't realized how quick and agile Grendrick really was. The beast had left him surely in the dust, even with his springy muscles he had a hard time keeping four-meters between them.

The aim of his own attack was neither The Shaman nor The Rat-Ogre separately but both. If he could, if possible, he wanted to exercise an experimental technique during a rather idiotic time. But maybe the timing was perfect. As he approached he noticed Marianne’s insects making a bee-line for the shaman atop the behemoth and Grendrick was already mauling its’ leg.

Nove felt lucky that his teammates, unbelievably, complemented one another. We can win this!

He anticipated the fall of the Rat-Orge. Nove lined himself up with its leg, stepped off its bulging knee-cap, and with his springy muscles soared above its ten-foot heght. Tall as it was, but being assaulted from below by Grendrick, Nove knew it was a chancy move being within its eye-sight. However, if he had been lucky enough; the beast wouldn't have the sense to attack him and would focus on his mauled leg. In the meantime, he raised his longsword above his head and sought to stab it into the monster’s skull.
@ERode Mhm to the first sentence. Also that's understandable, I could definitely add in a time-limit to Brave Lodall's and a draw back to Ecva's Love.

I'll scrap the band too, that was one of those "bold steps" I had taken.
Character Reimagined: Barry Allen - The Flash.

Secret ID: Judah Atto Allen. Allspeed.

Age: 19

Powers: Speed Force Generator.
  • Superior Speed, Agility, and Reflexes (Current Max. 500mph/804.67kmh)
  • Accelerated Healing.
  • Increased Perceptions.
  • Phasing.
  • Electrokinesis.
  • Aerokinesis via Limb Rotations.
  • Speed Force Aura, Stamina, Durability.

Weaknesses:
  • Inexperienced.
  • Overexertion causes Extreme Heartache.
  • The need for Friction and Gravity.

Personality: Emotionally unstable but wildly idealistic, Judah truly pours his all into his hero work. Newly emerged, he attempts to establish himself amongst the other heroes while juggling college at the same time. He has dedicated himself to only using his powers for hero-work and maintains a will of steel in order to upkeep his promise. When he gained his powers, for whatever reason, his emotions gained a limiter. Once he's push, instead of reacting mindlessly, he gains a certain apathy towards everything. One that makes him incredibly deadly, inconsiderate, and heartless.

Appearance: Judah has a natural boyish charm about his face. His skin is smooth and colored a earthly bronze. His most adoring feature is his eyes; a strong yet milky shade of hazel that can induce anywhere from sympathy to fear. He stands at a height of 5’10 and has svelte build. This combination, accented with his full lips and button nose has driven him in and out of the limelight. Normally he’s an acquired taste but occasionally, when he dresses up, it becomes apparent that he’s actually good looking.

BRIEF Bio: Judah is the product of a urgent intervention. The focus of an alternate version of him losing his path during “travels”. Up until his tenth birthday, his life had been what most would consider funny. His father, who worked as a comedian took his job to new heights, cramming every aspect of joy in quirky one-liners. His mother was just as eccentric about her own research, so in some funny way she complimented Mr. Allen.

The night his life changed was when he met The Flash. In a world brimming with superheroes, young Judah had just expected the usual from wandering red-clad hero. However that was not the case. Upon having a small discussion with his parents and weeks thereafter of convincing the two, The Flash had finally clued Judah in.

A cataclysmic incident in a different reality had altered the universe, his only escape was to throw himself into the Speed Force. Now he was racing to return home. But for whatever reason, the universe he was in had no Speed Force. That had worried him indefinitely. Until he had realized that a this world may not play by the same rules as the others. In one way or another anyway. So using his skills and declining powers, he tracked down “himself” and decided to beg for help. He held his doubts at first but once he found out that they indeed shared some unmistakably unique form of essence; he had come to the conclusion that the world or reality he had inhabited now was slightly off-balance.

So the Allen(s),The Flash included, concocted a plan to Henry’s dismay. Once Judah had showed his conviction and understanding of the situation, at least enough to know the dangers, he would be allowed to agree or deny to help The Flash. Upon turning twelve, Judah consented. During those two years The Flash helped Nora Allen expand her research in tachyons giving them a private institution to conduct their experiment.

When the stormy night came, Judah was placed deep inside Tachyon Tower beneath a skylight. The Flash gave promises that if thing went south he’d use his remaining speed to return things back to normal. Then he mumbled something solemn afterwards. Judah awoke that night, a strange energy surging through him. An awakening of the Speed Force in the world. To be sure his powers were returning, The Flash had stuck around for a few months. Years later, Judah had finally showed himself for the hero he was and emerged as Allspeed.

Notes: His suit is similar to The Flash’s, its primary color is white and its accented with blue.

The color of his lightning is blue.

He still has potential.
@Renny
Woo, best sword boyyyyyyy

Considering the nature of Talentium, tournaments, especially upscale ones, would be monitored rather heavily, both to protect participants and audience. You're talking about superhumans duking it out when they don't even necessarily have the durability to stay alive, after all. I think it'd make more sense if something went wrong in a crusade in Talze Utera rather than a fighting tournament.

To confirm, does Brave Lodall and Ecva's Love increase his physical attributes on top of the boost he gets from Talentium? Or not? Cause it's sort of a case where if not, he's REALLY weak, and if yes, he's REALLY strong.

Also, to further elaborate...

Sword Skills are techniques, not just straight up buffs or stuff like that. They're special moves that have obtained the ability to warp reality for the sake of a singular desire. If you go full animu reference, if someone really wanted to cut down a swallow, they'd obtain the ability to strike three times simultaneously. If someone really wanted to be able to launch anyone in the air with an uppercut, they'd have an uppercut that can unconditionally launch any enemy, no matter how unreasonably massive.

On the other hand, the physical boost they get from Talentium is in line more with their image of what 'strength' is. People who imagine that 'strength' is the ability to endure would get their physical boost skewed towards durability, while someone who imagines 'strength' as the ability to beat down those in their path would get their physical boost skewed towards striking power.

So yeah.

Lodall's Band sounds pretty evil. What's up with that? XD

Guess this could serve as a visual sample of just how crazy fights can get?

Probably not that much property destruction tho.

Alright let's dive right in.

Well I saw Banor (the swordsman using Talentium) as a interloper. Kinda of a renegade that simply attacked the winner for no-reason besides wanting to prove himself stronger. Brave Lodall and Ecva's Love is how few the different aspects. Lodall was physically strong being, an ideal to admire, so it meagerly boosted his strength to notable but not incredible heights. Ecva's Love is more pure, powerful, and emotional. We all know how emotions can strengthen a person's resolve and determination. So that's more of a devastating change.

I'm guessing you don't have a problem with Relena's Left Arm?

I wasn't too sure on how the Talentium boost worked. To me it was a bit subjective so if I had to place it, I would say apart from Brave Lodall and Ecva's Love (which are facets of his ideal of strength) the Talentium would empower him somewhere in the middle-area. He'd probably be bit more swifter.

As for Lodall's Band, well I figured he was a powerful swordsman in his day. Had some pretty dope adventures, befriended some oddities, made enemies of some oddities. I'm guessing the band came from some x adventure in some x place. Some artifact that he liked and looted. Ecva just called it his band because he wore it almost all the time. Just so happened he stopped wearing it a few years back for unknown reasons.
I took a lot of bold steps I think. Anyway, I present Notia Cragsky.

I thought I had expressed my interest last night but apparently It didn't go all the way through. So I'll be expressing my interest again.
An harsh, abrupt push of his buckler had sent the Skaven’s weapon bouncing back, leaving the rat open for his thrust and slice. His blade slid from the opening with a bit of effort, leaving the Skaven hissing in agony before falling to the stone floor. Its breathing became fickle, first heavy and quick, then slow and calm... soon it ceased altogether.

Nove had little time to contemplate its death. Not necessarily something that needed to be done but he found it hard not to. Why were they attacking? Was the quiet, almost non-existent whisper in the corner of his mind. Was it food? Resources? Or were they simply defending themselves? Am I cutting down those that need defending?

Even as he thought this, Nove stepped backwards just enough to evade a horizontal slash from a panicking Skaven. He gritted his teeth hard as he readily slid in and brought his blade across the beast, cutting it from hip to shoulder. This death was a bit more acceptable. Its body easily falling on its snout.

… I’m overthinking this, Nove decided, falling into a tight defense as two Skavens choose him to attack.

Slowly he pulled his longsword back, ready to stab the first and block the predictable attack from the next; however, it was all for naught. Noticing Grendrick’s attack was an understatement. He had been forced to experience the brutality and fear of it firsthand. It was ugly and spine-chilling, and awe-inspiring too. To know that Grendrick had directed that beastly fury in hopes of defending him had concreted something only loosely pinned down before. It had solidified his stance that Grendrick, despite his rough-disposition, was a true and honest comrade.

So when his powerful declaration had silenced the sounds of war; Nove had found his hesitation oddly mute as well. The young warrior strode just a few feet behind the werewolf and pointed his bloodstained longsword towards the dwarven company.

“Come!” he shouted in the silence. “We’re here to help. My friends and Sir Siph. Surely you can see our conviction to save you. So help us too! Help us survive these numbers!”
@The Kid Lantern Are you full?

I wanna re-imagine The Flash. Also I'm not quite as knowledgeable when it comes to the DC-Universe as most of you are I'm sure. Or of comic books in general. Mostly likely I'll stay out of the debates and arguments that spring up, probably won't say much at all in the OOC just to not look like an idiot lol. But I would like to join you guys if possible.
