Thus why I chose to do so while it was already preoccupied XD
Things had started going wrong. Very wrong. Wells had acted poorly and had been rightfully scolded by Seras, and the new Avatar had apparently had enough of the others' shenanigans. The event was supposed to be for all the Avatars to unite, but they all had their own ideals, and not a one was willing to bend or forgive! Seeing the tension, Kaze didn't know who to pursue to fix things with first. He wanted to keep everyone on peaceful terms with one another, but that goal seemed to be turning acutely south at a breakneck pace.

Then, another man stepped into the scene, and either he was the best cosplayer in the world, or he truly was the Avatar of Xerneas as he claimed. Immediately, Porygon-Z rushed to shake his outstretched hand, apparently no longer concerned with proving people's validity as Avatars. Either that or it was extremely fond of handshakes. Kaze couldn't tell which.

After the Mayor and the CEO of Porytech had said what might calm the situation, Kaze decided to approach the girl who had been sprayed with a fire extinguisher. The other new Avatar seemed to be receiving enough of a welcome from Porygon at the moment. Jingle, having released from Kaze's arm, now bounced along behind him as he approached her. Noticing her Pokémon seemed to be uneasy, Kaze knelt down to try to calm them. Withdrawing the Soothe Bell from his pocket, he rang it once to perhaps let them relax.

"You don't have to be upset," Kaze said to the seemingly unnerved Pokémon. He rolled the Soothe Bell to them so they might be able to play with it. "Jingle, go on ahead and try to have some fun with them," he directed the Bell Pokémon. Then he turned his attention to the girl. "Are you really an Avatar?" he asked, curious. "I'm Kaze, Suicune's chosen Avatar," he explained with a smile, reaching out a hand as a gesture of kindness. "Who are you?" Though he noticed it was quite a bit warmer up close to her, Kaze didn't let it deter him. While a few of the others may have given the wrong first impression, Kaze wanted her to see that maybe not all of them were bad.
@Sickle-cell Another healer character! How wonderful! I was wondering how the others might remain alive. XD While my Avatar can cure poisons and other impurities, healing normal wounds is beyond his power, so to have someone who can do such is a nice addition. Welcome aboard, sir! :)

Now to figure out a post . . .

EDIT: After falling asleep in the middle of posting last night, I finally got something. Also, Kaze, being an amateur trainer, doesn't know about Kabuto's Water-Typing, nor his current ability to speak with any Water-Type Pokemon, so if Kabuto suddenly speaks to him, he'll be rather shocked.
Real life has been busy so I'm sorry that I haven't been online as much as I should.
"Mo~om, hurry it up, already!" Kaze whined as his mother tied his tie. She had wasted half the time mumbling under her breath how much Kaze's transformation was now costing her.

As it was, he was running late. The dinner should be beginning any moment now, and he didn't want to be late. Eventually, the bow tie was finished (as the scratchy black thing, his white buttoned shirt, and his khaki pants were the only dress clothes he had, and quite frankly, they were getting kind of small), and Kaze jumped into action. "C'mon, Jingle!" he called, and the Pokémon latched its scarf-like arms around his forearm. Out the door he went, using his improved athletic ability and a Tailwind to improve his speed. Like a parkour expert, he ran, leaped, swung, and climbed around and over the crowds until he reached the location he had been directed to: The Ritzy Raichu.

When he arrived, his outfit now slightly disheveled and his previously-styled hair in disarray, he noticed a woman who had been covered in foam that could have only come from a fire extinguisher. And of course, the culprit seemed to be the same erratic Porygon-Z from earlier. Before Kaze could offer to lend a hand in cleanup, Darkrai--or rather, Vuduin--used his power to sweep it all up. Definitely an efficient cleansing.

Not knowing how to react, Kaze went to Seras, who looked even more beautiful than when he had seen her earlier, and gave a gentle tug on her dress to let her know he was there. "What happened?" he whispered to her, not wanting to be too loud in the eerily silent corridor.
Getting a post up in seconds. BTW, @Zanavy, typically, Kaze's bell is like Seras', worn as a necklace, but for now is kept in his pocket.
I'm good for a timeskip, though I'm going to be disappearing until sometime Sunday, so if Kaze's needed, @Ardent Dawn has permission to write from his perspective.
When the two darker figures turned away, Kaze found himself relaxing into a slouched posture, letting out a long, ragged sigh of relief. For a moment, he stood there, staring at the ground and trying to calm his tears. The tension was gone now--no need to keep crying. After a few moments they ceased their flow, and he was left with just his shaky breathing. In the meantime, a man of daunting figure spoke to the woman he had run to the side of earlier.

While the two talked, Kaze overheard them mention their names as David Stone--the Avatar of Regirock--and Seras--Diancie's Avatar. Then Seras turned in Kaze's direction. Sniffing quickly, he tried to make himself look more brave, then turned his head up toward her. Just briefly, he noticed she had observed the diamond shapes on his arms before her gaze met his.

"You helped us enormously as well," she commended. "If you hadn't stood up for everyone and if Germaines hadn't backed down when he did, then I would have been caught in the middle of everything." Then she extended a kind hand for him to shake. "Thank you. I owe you gratitude for your courage and your help."

While Kaze didn't trust his voice to properly respond, he did accept the handshake and gave a determined nod. He hoped even if he didn't speak, the look in his eyes would be enough to convey that he was glad to help, even if a little. Then, the least heroic thing happened to him: his stomach growled with a notable echo.

"I should probably find something to eat," he mumbled, not sure if Seras had heard his voice, but there was no doubt she, and likely David, had heard the roar from his innards.
This is strange . . . for the first time I'm the only one in this RP who's online.
One of the nice features about Google Drive is that it saves the full edit history for any documents that you make, so it doesn't matter whether any accidents occur with the back-up - you can just roll back to a previous version. Everyone can edit the Google Doc, so feel free to copy/paste back-ups over whenever anyone feels like it.

TitanPad can do the same: Saved Revisions and Time Slider allow you to access about any version that's existed at any given time.
