Wow...A search thread?

Hey it turns out 99% of the plots I've ever come up with have been typed out somewhere, or written...Whatever I think I'm just going to have to go through notebooks and threads and see what I can find. In the meantime I do remember being slightly fond of this idea.

One day while on an errand that took her through the woods she came across a an injured man. Out of pity she took him in and nurse him back to health only to learn that he was one of the elves she had been warned about. He promised her that for helping him she would be rewarded. Sure enough her fortunes begin to improve, but at the expense of all those around her.

I realize that I gave both characters a gender and...I am partial to the character listed as male as I believe I actually have one already created, actually yes I do, but as for the the other character I just used she to make typing it out simple which I now realize makes no sense since I'm having to go out of my way to explain myself.

I feel like it's been a while since I've done any kind of search here. Not because I haven't been on, I still get on regularly to reply to roleplays I already have. But I had as many as I could handle before, not any more as I've had several die for various reasons, so now that I'm doing good to catch up to the already existing roleplays I want more. I've actually been on the prowl for a while, but didn't really give many here much of a chance as 1. I'm not a fast replier, 3. I wasn't sure what I wanted and 3. it seems most people here want mature roleplays which I do not do. However I don't really have anything to lose by creating a thread and seeing if I get any bites.
So first off a couple things we ought to get out of the way to determine if we're a good match.
Fair warning, I talk a lot.
Like I already said I'm not a fast replier, as a general rule of thumb I reply to everything once a week, unless you like bugging me. In which case kittens will be necessary.
I'd like to say that I'm not picky about length, that I don't care what skill level my partner is at, or that I'm willing to give anyone a chance, but frankly one or two liners don't do it for me. I can reply anywhere between 4 paragraphs to a novel depending on what's going on and what I have to work with and that is how I like it. I love reading and writing so not being able to do as much of that as possible seems to defeat the point for me.
I like character driven roleplays. Meaning plot isn't as important to me as character development and relationships. I didn't used to think this mattered but I guess some people just prefer their roleplays being plot heavy and get bored without that. Not to say I don't like plots, but plot for me comes after characters.
Now on the subject of maturity and limits, I'm afraid I'm going to be weirdly particular. I don't do smut, that is I don't write those things out, feel free to imply your character sleeping with the entire town I don't really care how much sex they have, just don't make me read the details. However I have no problem with violence or gore. I'm not into fluff and I do so love angst but I'm going to confuse you further, nothing non consensual. I realize it's odd to be OK with murder and not rape or anything, I don't care. It's a personal matter, it's none of your business, this is for fun, and it is a deal breaker.
So moving on to face claims and character sheets. If you like them than great, whatever floats your boat. I do do character sheets but don't share them unless requested to. I do sometimes do pictures, not really face claims as I only use my images for a variety of reasons, feel free to use whatever you want. Photos, anime, any other type of drawn image. I'm just saying this because if you don't like drawn face claims then I need to know to avoid using them. I'm still not going to go out and find a photo, if I have to I'll stick to written descriptions.
On a slightly related note I almost solely play males, I have mad exceptions and have played transgender males, but those were under very particular circumstances so I wouldn't count on being able to convince me to play females. Side characters and NPCs are another thing, sometimes you gotta throw them in and I am willing to play them but I expect you to be able to pull your weight and play them as well. Where romance is concerned I'm not terribly picky. Romance is great if it works and I don't particularly care what gender you wish to play or what ever sexuality you prefer. I like to think I can play a pretty wide variety of character types.
Alright so, while I do have some plots, it's gonna take me a bit to remember them all so I'm not going to post them all right away. I'll just add them in separate posts as I think of them. I have quite a many OCs (my babies) I wouldn't mind playing but I also don't mind starting from scratch.
As far as what kind of plots I like, I like to feel I'm fairly versatile. I love fantasy most of all but I also love horror, lovely drama, romance...I'm not too fond of fluff or comedy but in my not so humble, humble opinion, most plots regardless of genre can't be hurt by having some light hearted moments. I'm not a history buff but am still willing to do roleplays that span whatever time frame you want. Same goes for place thought I'm not surprisingly not a cultural expert. Then I don't usually say no to some kind of crime drama.
I'm not really looking for fandom based roleplays right now, for the most part. I guess if I'm looking for anything in particular it's some kind of fantasy, preferably high fantasy, though I don't usually say no to a good plot regardless.
I can't really think of anything else relevant, anything I do think of I'll just add it as it comes to my mind.

This is for digital art, what you see is what you get. Both portrait and knee up are fully coloured and shaded with minimal background, sorry I do not do sketches, cel shading, or plain flat colours.

-Additional character (up to 2 characters in a single image) or large/detailed background= +5$
(No full bodies currently as I have no decent examples for them)

3 (three) minor edits and 1 (one) major edit are allowed before the price gets bumped up.

Once the commission and price has been agreed upon half of the total amount must be paid up front. After which I will send an early draft (sketch) to make sure it all works for you. Then allow 7-10 days for completion of portraits and 10-14 days for knee ups. Once the full image is finished it will be posted and sent and the rest of the payment must be made.

Genius me is typing this in the middle of the night so let's see how this goes. I sadly had some beloved roleplays die, and some I just don't expect quick replies to. I want to get back into this so here we go...So first let me get some boring things out of the way, then I'll tell you what my little ploties are.

-Now I am not a fast replier...Usually. My goal is to get a reply in once a week, however if I happen to have more time and am not bogged down I may or may not reply more than that. Bottom line, don't expect a quick roleplay.
I'll roleplay over PMs, threads, or Discord. But I wont give out my Discord until we've come to an agreement.
-I wont do smut. Sorry not sorry.
-In addition to that, there are a lot of dark things I'm willing to do, I do love angst. But please for the love of all things floofy, NO elements of rape or sexual assault. I don't just mean in the roleplay please refrain from adding that shit to anything period. I expect you to be mature enough to know what constitutes as consent. Sorry but this is a deal breaker.
-Use whatever face claims you want. I always design and draw my characters myself. Which leads me to my next point...
-I do have characters already created for some of these plots I'll put a ** by the ones I have them for.
-I don't care how much you write in a reply, I mean yeah make an effort but you don't need to feel like you have to type a certain amount.
-I write in third person, past tense. My first replies are usually novels, but once the roleplay gets going it averages out to 2-3 paragraphs.

-OOC chatter is wonderful. Want to be friends? OK. Talk about anything from the plot to how baffling it is that people like Nina the killer. Brownie points if you like Death Note. I always keep IC posts and OOC chatter separate though.
-Some of the plots listed below name characters, this is only because I hate putting "character A" and "character B". Feel free to do whatever you want with your character. Their gender, age, sexuality, whatever is up to you.
-I only play males. Yup. You might convince me to play a transmale but that's iffy.

Unrest and turmoil has plagued the vast country of Elda ever since a very powerful magician took over the rule of the kingdom. Split by contention and held unwillingly by magic the five regions must be united and saved from the dark magic only by an equally powerful ritual. But those who can preform it are few and the complex magic requires five substances found all across the continent. It's up to a few brave souls to gather the necessary ingredients and preform the rare magic to save the country. (This totally did not come from a dream I had the other night and of course does not need alterations. Yay sarcasm!)

I'm usually overflowing with ideas, not always proper for a roleplay, but I may add more as they come or if I can think of a way to make them work. On the flip side, if you have any good fantasy, particularly high fantasy, then feel free to throw them at me.

I had a period were I wasn't doing much in the way of roleplaying, but I am back for more searching. I'll try and keep this boring stuff short and I'll start by listing the plots then if you're still here I get to the boring yet important stuff stuff and you can decide if we're a good match. Oh one thing first. I gave the characters names for the sake of explaining the plots, obviously they're just temporary. I don't like referring to characters as A and B because my brain runs on Death Note. I am only looking for the first two right now, but I am keeping the third up because there is a chance I'll be looking for it again someday.

Sharon has always been fair at her job as a detective. Though she hasn't always enjoyed the success she deserved. She believes she's caught her big break when assigned to a serial murder case that has been stumping everyone else for months. Shortly after, she runs into an old friend who seems very interested in her and her job. Both supposedly feeling romantic feelings for each other they begin a relationship. All the while she is unaware that he is the killer she is searching for.

Now that all the fun stuff is out of the way here are the things that everyone thinks they should talk about, that no one really wants to read.
1.None of the roles in those plots are up for negotiation. I've had some time to think characters over and have ideas in mind as well as a very well developed character for one of them. The gender of your character however, is. I only play males but will play along side any gender of sexuality whether romance is involved or not.
2.I will not hold you to any frequency of replies or length. I am not a fast replier, once a week is my goal, so you do not need to feel like you have to reply quickly either. Same for length, as long as my character can react to what you said everything's good.
3.On that same note even if you only reply once a month, that's fine. If you no longer wish to continue the roleplay It would be decent to let me know so I don't waste time waiting for a reply that wont ever comes. I never drop roleplays without warning. If I wish to stop or can't reply for whatever reason, someone will let you know.
4. You may hear from someone calling herself Stacy or more likely someone calling himself Beyond. This is relatively normal, no cause for alarm. I mean if you don't want to talk to them that's fine, but you'll have to say so.
5.I always write in third person with the intent of writing in past tense. Let's be honest we're all guilty of changing tense unintentionally. I usually average two or three paragraphs, but my first posts are almost always the longest. They can be anywhere from five paragraphs to The Wheel of Time.
6.Use whatever picture or description you want for your character. I always design and draw my characters myself so if you're one of those weird people who have something against art then descriptions will work fine.
7.Character sheets can be used upon request. Want them? Fine I can put them together. Hate them? Also fine. They're really only useful for our own reference.
8.I love character driven roleplays. Yes, give me that sweet, sweet character development.
9. I do not do smut. I do not do smut. Sorry not sorry, it's for personal reasons.

13.This one just exists because I am bored and I have a weird sense of humor. You can stop reading now all the relevant information has already been said. I can't stop you from reading whatever I have typed up but if you're still here you must be really bored.

Looking to test out this character (historical mystery perhaps?)

I'm not looking for any particular type of roleplay for this but the title is mostly right, I have a character I've been working on on and off that I would like to get into roleplaying with. In a setting I imagine to be in the Victorian era or perhaps Edwardian (not a history buff here but I'm not clueless either) or even steampunk.I suggest reading all this nonsense I have to say before deciding. Now onto the actual character. The character was born into a high class family as female named Harriett, but was always more on the masculine side and had a craving for juicy mysteries. Once a bit older she created her alter ego, William, to begin a job as a detective. And was pretty successful at both the job and living a double life with a little help from family. At least until someone caught onto the secret.

Now I realize the character still needs work, which is one of the reasons I want to roleplay with them. As for the roleplay itself I have no plots right this second, but I am more than willing to come up with or discuss one. The roleplay can have most any elements you want thrown in. Some generic drama? Yes. Horror, also yes. Mystery, good idea. Romance? Why not? Just keep in mind the character is perhaps transgender or non-binary. You are pretty free to do what you want with your character.. Anyway thats all I can think of for now, so if something else comes to mind I'll add it. And if you're interested then feel free to ask me questions like we're playing I spy.

Oh right! I should mention some things first. 1. I'm willing to do most things, but not smut. 2. I'm not a really fast replier once a week is my goal. 3. Length is not something I care about. I average 2-3 paragraphs but I will do however much I think necessary to keep things rolling.

I'm not sure why I thought making an entirely new thread would be easier, yet here I am. Because I have updated the list some. First let me introduce myself, I am Sam I have been roleplaying seriously for about 10 years and I love to write and draw. I occasionally draw things for my roleplay partners if the roleplay actually manages to get somewhere.

As the title suggest I am only looking for fandom related roleplays right now. I don't have any plots on hand as they are not my strong suit, so I will simply be listing characters I could or would like to play. The only one I have had a chance to play Is Beyond, so be patient with me as the majority of them I have no experience with. I'm not looking for any one at the moment, just mostly a chance to try some out. I do have a few things to say about some that may or may not effect how they are played, and of course whether you wish to play against them or not. I don't think there's much of a want for any of them, but eh why not try.

Oh! first let me tell you a bit about how I roleplay, or what things I like to do and things I wont do. I love lots of angst, I enjoy royally fucking characters up. I will do AUs. Doubling up and doing side characters is something I will do if necessary. I'm willing to do most things aside from smut, I will not do that under any circumstances. Sorry not sorry. I don't mind romance but it is not my favourite thing to do. I cannot guarantee how often I will reply but I will never leave you hanging. I don't ditch, if I can't or don't want to continue then I will say so. And I will usually keep in touch OOC. If you happen to hear from Either Stacy or Beyond, don't worry. Sometimes they like to talk to the people I talk to. As for how much I post, I suppose I mirror most times. I will post how ever much or little necessary to keep the roleplay going. I will not hold you to any length or frequency but it would be nice if you let me know if you want to quit or wont be replying for a while.
