All right, we're coming down to the start of the role play, now that all character submissions are in.
So, in this beginning, where do you see your characters: distraction or infiltration? One will use shock and awe tactics, while another sneaks past to secure a point within Archadia.

@Raijinslayer - Really great character, I hope to see him develop through the narrative! You took well to the changes within this Requiem and I love the bond and relationship between the Aeon and James. Put him up when able.

All right, there's potential hear, but quite a few issues we need to address.
One, with the way she stands now, I don't see the character as Commander ranking, possibly First or Second Class, but not Commander. It's merely a title, yes, but it pertains to power levels rather than actual leadership.

Second, I think it's just a typo, but Faelan is the capital, Nibelheim is the medical sanctuary - but that is an easy fix.
The biggest concern right now, and this might break the character, is that the current line of events doesn't coincide with her entire background. I've no qualms with the medic origins, but Archadia has only just sealed their border and the events of Ground Zero are recent, thus it wouldn't be plausible for her to be aware of monsters, and living near the Grounds like you've stated. It's difficult to play a combative medic when they haven't really seen combat, but it's possible to be trained for it - that's not a glaring concern.

I'm having issues grasping her.. burst fire pulse rifle? You'd have to explain that to me, and temper down the bullets capable of targeting someone's immune system, that's entirely over powered. While technology is advanced and such advanced weaponry a possibility, some things much be kept within reason.

We can defer in a message to guide the character into being accepted, if you'd like, because as I said: there's a lot of potential.

But I won't be completely negative, I really like her abilities and I really love her Aeon, you took to that part of the lore and aspects very well. And there's nothing I like seeing more than a critically moral character that struggles with the aspect of death in concerns to life. It makes for some development later in the narrative.

This is a nice character, one of the guys is an interesting trope.
But there's some things we need to address and clarify.

One, Archadia does not have any standing military, nor is there any royalty - unless I misread that bit - but Archadia has to rely on Galbadia for military support because they've focused more on science rather than militia gain. This is a another combat medic I see, and it's difficult to really have one considering there hasn't been much combat prior to the current league of events. Being trained is a possibility, but there hasn't really been enough conflict to produce one of accurate and appropriate experience. There is a military front that coexists outside of SOLDIER, but there hasn't been a war, or anything, to produce the typical front of knowledge for a veteran like type.

Second, she found her Aeon? The characters may be aware of them, but they were found many-many years prior this current series of events, so that will not be plausible. I'm not too keen on being able to coat her weapons within fire, especially seeing as she carries a lot of guns on her person. Which I need to ask that you temper down just a tad, SOLDIERS are regulated to a degree, we already have abilities to use, a gun or two will suffice.

@Raijinslayer - Refer to this timeline. Also, keep within mind the new information provided regarding SOLDIERS. This is a bit different from the first installment of Requiem. If you're having issues with a backstory that coincides with the lore provided and timeline, PM me and we can talk.

3056 I. — Aeon meteors impact Viera; landing throughout the various continents.
3061 A.I. — Scientists of the Dalmastice government capture all the Aeons within a span of five years.

3063 A.I. — First experiments on the Aeons begin two years following their extraction.

3078 A.I. — Fifteen years of research yield the finding of Aeon cells that slow aging, repair cells and grant vitality and strength.

3079 A.I. — The following year they begin the pharmaceutical campaigns to benefit all mankind.

3081 A.I. — Suddenly, the Aeons are "sealed" away and the cells no longer offered within medicines. Fort Lullin is built.
3086 A.I. — Five years of debates and disputes leads to the first rebellion and initial divide of the government.
3089 A.I. — The first battles begin, and the slums of Archadia are attacked, revealing the monsters and terrible creatures in the first massacre in prelude to the wars. This is the present time of events.

@Raijinslayer - Don't worry about the core sets; the calculations are devised under rolls and basic mathematics to give the final product. They're more for us GMs, as a core selection shouldn't make or break a character. If you catch my drift.

All right, I know it was briefly discussed, but I'm opening up the channel for potential affiliations; i.e preexisting relationships or knowledge of one another. Keep, within mind, that the sensible way to go about these are: previous association before SOLDIER induction, meaning they have run into one another, or knew of each other. [example; we have a former prisoner, a detective, and officer. And, two that originate from wealthy families. etc.] Also, it's possible for those that originate from the same SOLDIER Class could be familiar.

Anyways, I trust you guys to be sensible about it, just thought to open the channel for such things whilst we coast through the days until we begin. Unless you've already done such things, then huzzah, I just wasted my time.

Another reminder: character submissions end tomorrow, where I'll start a twenty-four hour countdown for those still wishing to submit characters. Those that have messaged me regarding special situations, this does not apply to you, but the character should be submitted at least the following Friday.
