@RogerD

Yes, though the Elders are the oldest of the immortals (allegedly since they rewrote a lot of historical events in a 'history is written by the victor sense.') since the Vampires are the oldest sub-species.

I think I misread your history. So in this vampries were first, whereas in Underworld Immortals were first followed by vampires and werewolves. Would that be correct?

Damn my head cold, reading anything feels like moving through amber at the minute, it is rubbish.

As you're kinda using Underworld, are immortals allowed?
Is this still open?

If so, thinking about Doctor Strange type character maybe, or Earth's Shaman (like in The Authority).
Okay I'm likely going to go for Richard Dragon or Vandal Savage and make them heroes and not total douche nozzles, as long as no one has any problems with that? :)
@RogerD

Already taken there.

Dang nabbit - which I guess you just did. lol

I'll likely go for someone else, maybe make Richard Dragon or Vandal Savage not a total arsehole then :)
Kal'el is alive, and is on Earth currently, but the idea of Superman doesn't exist, I'll be playing him as his story instigates a part of the overall plot.

In regards to swaps of that kind, it really depends on the character. Batman's origin, as the successor of the a wealthy East coast family dating back a long way somewhat designates him as a white male, but, Dick Grayson could reasonably be of any ethnicity. Religious conversions are somewhat easier to change, as are places of birth and origin, for Gender swaps, run it by me first before developing the concept. Well, in reality, run any of these by me, but that especially might need some discussion.

Hope that clears everything up.

Could I play Batman then, but they're part of a line that has been Batman throughout the centuries, each son or daughter takes over the mantle.
ooh! This looks interesting.

Which one do you prefer, the first or second idea?
Is this dead or still a living RP? If so, I'm interested.
Got an idea for an immortal that walked through the ages, possibly Batman or Darevil type from previous points in history.
Not to infringe on your idea but I think it could also be cool if we just played our heroes through the ages but not as immortals but as each successor of the mantle.

We start whenever we want to start and play that character until they grow old and pass on the title to their chosen heir, or maybe they get killed and somebody honors them by becoming the next generation. It would provide a lot of freedom with characters dying and role play styles being able to change from generation to generation. Also super easy for people to come and go without difficulty or complication for anyone involved.

I hadn't thought about that - good idea - I like it :)
