Daria
Location: Spellmaking Class

Daria sat next to Helena - it seemed like she'd made a friend here - and honestly was a little excited about learning some of the basics of magic. She'd be one of the first in her tribe - the druids didn't count - to learn the magic of the north!

Her hair blowing didn't even bother her. But it seemed like the class was beginning with an advanced topic, "Helena isn't this-" Daria began to comment about her confusion to the cat girl, but noticed that Helena seemed to be following along perfectly fine. In fact, everyone around her was.

She looked desperately around the room, hoping that some other student was equally at the beginning of the game's trail like her. She debated asking for help, but instead simply tried to copy the gestures the teacher was making and failing to summon up even an ounce of arcane energy.
I'll hop in today
@SilverPaw nope that's fine. Just wanted to make sure!
@SilverPaw

So the normal timeline was

Party
Dorm
Sleep
Class
X
Y
Duel

Right?
@SilverPaw Right. Fight after class then? Seems like we are going to the same place.

Daria pondered for a moment over Helena's words. "..." Helena would likely notice an awkward pause. "Was it required?" Daria didn't recall the travelling merchant discussing the wonders of this school saying anything about needing to read. "Admissions officer didn't say anything."

Daria didn't respond to the question of wanting to learn. That could have been because of some hesitancy or emotional or cultural quarrel on her part with the subject, but it more likely had to do with the girl who just got out of the bath dripping acid. Daria agreed with Helena absolutely here. "On second thought we do not bathe in my culture." Some blood still covered Daria, but she managed to get the worst out of it with the rag. "Unless blessed by Flamingo. I will ask Flamingo about this water."

Daria wasn't in the mood to die due to proximity to this girl and backed away from a piece of metling stonework that had been a few inches in front of her and looked at Helena with a nod - she'd simply go to that class. It seemed useful enough.
@SilverPaw Wait, did a full day pass at all? Or are we using time alteration puppy to fix things here?

Daria let out a sigh of relief as it seemed that Helena was willing to forgive her and even found that whole incident humerous - and that quickly turned into a somewhat devious smirk as Helena approved of her delivering a well-needed beatdown. "I try." Daria started to clean herself - and her hair - with what was quickly becoming a bloody rag. "Anyways ... classes?" The leopardess gave Helena a somewhat confused glance. Then decided to clarify about her illiteracy some more in case that alone was confusing. "Cannot read. No joke." She hoped Helena actually believed her this time after her previous ... performance.

Daria paused for a couple seconds as she looked over Helena's face - she was happy Yon hadn't reacted so negatively, but it was rather clear Helena was starting to become ill. She hadn't expected for the other catgirl to so openly just believe her ridiculous tale about the Great Flamingo. It was rather obvious at this point though that the joke had gone too far.

She nodded at Yon, hoping that she'd leave for a couple minutes.

Helena would likely be surprised as Daria just removed the contents from Helena's hands and just sort of looked for a couple of seconds at Helena's face before her eyes turned to the floor. "Helena ... sorry ... go sit down or something." Daria herself pulled a rag out of her belongings, cleaned herself off, and then brought a fresh one for Helena. She'd spent the time walking and contemplating how to do something she rarely did: apologize. She didn't need her new roommate to hate her.

"Th-That went too far ... There is no Great Pink Flamingo - I just use hair dye. And yes, I pluck the feathers and clean kills before I cook and eat them. And I'm not going to kill Low Constitution from the welcome party either." The words seemed to stumble awkwardly from Daria's mouth, and it would be apparent to Helena that the Leopardess was nervous.
