Magi☆Magic☆Fox, Himeko

Showing a distinct lack of worry about the inflated frog creature looming above her location, Himeko was much more leisurely about her escape from the impact zone, lazily hopping back as she finished the last of her drink. This was hardly the fox's first battle against a large, straight-forward opponent, after all. And it's not like it had enough of a tongue left to be cautious of it! One good smack from Kokoha should end it, by her estimation. Not that Himeko wasn't going to pitch in - behind the mischievous fox, a blue ball of flame was forming in the air, quickly growing and extending towards the shrine maiden's lower back, meeting with the base of her fluffy, unruffled tail.

With the appearance of her second 'tail', came a minor boost to her abilities. Her power was hardly anything worth noting, still, but the appearance more than made up for it, at least! Now then, to ensure that whatever Kokoha had planned would go off without a hitch...
Himeko swung her arm, the tobacco pipe elongating and transforming into a shrine maiden's trusty tool, the gohei. As it did so, a stream of blue flame was unleashed, aimed right at the unfortunate shade. Much like before, there wasn't a whole lot of power behind Himeko's magic even with the second tail, but it should serve as a great distraction from Kokoha's own attack.
"...Yep, all clear~" Himeko cheerfully assured Kokoha, once more sipping at her tea. Though sadly the flavour was somewhat overpowered by that rather unpleasant aura that a more readily-threatening Shade can emanate. Glancing over her shoulder, the frog-like creature hopped into view, lashing its tongue towards them in a sudden attack. Three against one, this wasn't likely to be much of a threat to the group, but at least it could totally justify Himeko's call for assistance!

"Ah, the real menace emerges at last~!" Leaping into the air to avoid the attack, Himeko twirled the pipe in her left hand, then aimed it towards the Shade. A small burst of blue flame shot towards the creature; a weak attack, but she didn't think of the creature as particularly nimble or intelligent, so her attack was meant more for distracting it, while Naoko and Kokoha could make quick work of it. Just enough time to finish off this boba drink.

Himeko's eyebrows raised slightly when a rain of swords mercilessly tore through the pitiful Shade, pretty much destroying it outright. While that outcome was hardly a surprise, the assault quickly reminded her of someone, and her suspicion was confirmed a scant few seconds later. Naoko Hifume was her name, right? Himeko could hardly say she was close with this girl, but they had operated for a similar length of time... more or less.

She wasn't aware of the details, but the magical fox did know of Naoko's circumstances. She had offered her condolences back then, and assumed Naoko had either moves away from Tokyo, or given up the game altogether. To see her now, still lacking the bright, cheery tone that defined her... even Himeko was momentarily unsure of how to respond. It was almost fortunate that more than one magical girl responded to her "distress" signal to distract from Himeko's uncertainty.

With "Magi-gal's" arrival, Himeko let out an amused chuckle, raising the pipe to her lips, "...Indeed, it's been far too long. My donation box has missed your custom~"

Yet another magical girl dropped down nearby, eager to help out. Himeko had to wonder, was Shinjuku inexplicably peaceful for the first time in her career as a beautiful, mysterious foxlady, or...

"...Am I really seen as that unreliable...?" Himeko mused aloud, a look of worry on her face. Though it was hard to look too pitiful when holding a magical tobacco pipe in one hand, and a boba tea in the other. With a heavy sigh, she aimed a smile at Naoko, shrugging her shoulders, "well, you may have chosen the quietest night possible, but nice to see you again~ Have you met the newest generation of saviours? As you can tell, they're rather earnest and adorable!"

It was best to just act her usual self, right?

Himeko, strolling through Shinjuku

It was funny how changing one's viewing angle could greatly alter the beauty of the sights before you. Shinjuku was always a bustling sea of lights and activity, and wandering the streets of that breath-taking environment was certainly a special moment. When you become able to freely navigate above that landscape, to see just how far that field of light can stretch... such an experience cannot be beaten.

Not even three minutes ago, a young woman had bought a cup of boba tea, slowly sipping it as she left the shop, walked down the street, and practically disappeared into an alleyway. And now, atop the towering buildings that made up Shinjuku, a totally-unrelated woman looked down at the streets, sipping from an identical cup. Her hakama billowing slightly in the breeze, the fox-eared woman was completely at ease as she surveyed the landscape. With her free hand, the fox woman raised a smartphone, casually tapping away without a care in the world.

[Magi☆Magic☆Fox]: Minor one on my end. Save me please!

Accompanying that message with a cheery, chibi sticker, the mysterious woman sent her message to a particular chat group. Then, stowing away her phone, she turned to face the creature she had practically ignored until now.

"Apologies for the wait. Shall we play, then~?"

Speaking to the creature, known as a Shade, was entirely pointless. To her knowledge, they possessed no real will, or at least had no desire to talk in any way. They were just mindless creatures, born from humanity's despair, sadness and general displeasure. And sadly, Tokyo had plenty of these things infesting the place, day after day. While certainly a little reckless, Yukimura Himeko had no reason to doubt she was truly in danger: This Shade was very recently formed, after all, and was so weak that even a single tail was enough to deal with it. Someone that worked within the building itself must have had a pretty crappy day, the poor guy.

Taking another sip of her drink, Himeko opened her empty hand, a small ball of blue flame forming, warping and lengthening, until it became a long tobacco pipe. With colourful smoke slowly billowing from that, the fluffy-tailed magical girl commenced extermination of the Shade.
I'm almost certainly going with my old idea, I'm just deciding if I want to go with a less experienced version of her.
Interest here as well.
Erika Maidandora

"Mm, the menu here seems rather exquisite, wouldn't you agree?"

Looking around the restaurant, a blonde-haired young woman wore a mysterious smile as she surveyed the place. Her small, adorable companion was no doubt already aware what Erika was referring to, especially given she had yet to acknowledge what kind of food this place served. Erika's attention was devoted solely to the lovely ladies that happened to be dining at this establishment; magi, Masters and Servants all mingling in one place, an impossible scenario made reality by the amusing quirks of fate.

"I suppose we can forego one of your delicious meals, Saber~" Erika cheerfully suggested, taking her place at the end of the line, "What we must do here is quite important, after all~"

With so many of her precious maids left at home, it was a perfect opportunity to hire some more from Fusang itself! Her Servant also looked amazing in a maid outfit! If words alone were somehow insufficient to convince anyone to don the outfit, one look at Benienma's adorable form would cinch it.

Rider - Lady Trieu

"Well... could prob'ly try that... and that thing. Ooh, that sounds nice, let's get that! ...A bit of that, too..."

The tall Servant, studying the signboard overhead, was worryingly listing pretty much every food item on offer. Paying no heed to her poor Master's wallet capacity, the cheerful Rider-class Servant kept on adding to her mounting order. Just about all of this food would be new to her, after all. Why not give it all a fair try? As far as she was concerned, someone else could have anything she didn't like.
