I had briefly attended to a few more matters but soon I was headed to my room. Somehow I had completely forgotten to get what I was actually going to the medical bay for, headache medicine. At this point though I'm not even going to bother going back. I just want to get to my room, have a drink, then lay down for a bit.
What do they call that? Relaxation? I think to myself with an amused shake of my head. Upon arriving at my room I get a surprise, there's someone in it. There isn't supposed to be anyone bunking with me. Damn it, that's right. I had forgotten to edit the bunking list after I had been informed an officer I had requested was needed elsewhere.
Stepping into the room I cleared my throat to gain Raina's attention.
"Sargent Matthews, pack back up and move down to bunk with Captain Carson. There was a change in the assignments." I tell her plainly. It's my fault, but I don't feel the need to get into those kind of details. With a deep breath I walk to the empty bunk and sit down, crossing my legs.
After Commander Monroe and Lt. Commander Sharp left I spent at another hour or so cleaning up the medical bay and putting some things away. Hopefully this won't get me in trouble with the Commander, I'm supposed to be in my room after all. After seeing how preoccupied she was with Lt. Commander Sharp I doubt it will be an issue. I wonder if there's something between them? No, I'm just imagining things. Commander Monroe knows better then to get involved with someone under her command, that's a court marshal offense after all.
Once I'm done in the Medical Bay I head straight to my room. When I get there I'm slightly surprised that my bunk mate isn't there. I check the paper just to make sure that I did in fact have someone bunking with me.
"That's strange." I say to myself then shrug it off and start unpacking my things. I unpack only what's necessary since we won't be on this ship long. Then I change into a pair of sweat pants and a tank top.
