Forgotten History

She might have been able to react had she been with anyone else, but with Marcus her guard was down. Only having a split second to register what was happening she took in a quick gasp before his lips locked with hers. Her body was tense, muscles locked, but as he kissed her she went limp. Something about him relaxed her all the way to her core. It was like the world around then faded away.

Richard took a small step back. "Hey, you gotta start somewhere!" he said defensively, but not to seriously. Her bouncy personality brought such a fun energy to their conversations, it was his theory that this is why he enjoyed her company. Stepping aside he leaned against her ship. "Honestly? I'm bored." he admitte.

Forgotten History

Rin sighed. "I guess I'm just paranoid." she admitted. Turning her head to look at him she smiled. "At least now we don't have to hide. That's one less thing to stress over." she concluded. It was a nice feeling. Not only were they finally together but they could be so openly.

Quickly Richard jerked back, her foot only barely missing his face. He scolded himself for having not stood back further. "Yeah I saw that..." he groaned and held out a hand to block her feet. "Well I am a pilot. I've got just as much ofa right to be down here as you!" he said proudly.

Forgotten History

As they walked she thought about what was next. They made it across that mountai, what would they face next? "Do you think that's it? Will he do anything else?" she questioned. She hadn't actually thought he would go as far as he did so now she was extra paranoid. Would he go to his superiors and try to cause problems from there? She didn't know.

Richard grinned when he saw her laying there. She looked so happy. Walking over he smacked her dangling foot. "I don't think they intended for them to be used as beds." he joked.

Forgotten History

If this were the last time she ever saw John she would be just fine with it. He had crossed a line and there was no going back. Her thoughts shifted away from her irritation and new found hate of John now to her concern and love for Marcus. "I'm a little surprised Kyle still has you coming in for training... But then again training prepares you for life, and life never seems to give anyone a break." she rambled as they walked. The danger was over but her nerves were still on edge.

Richard hadn't been able to get Tess off his mind. He was constantly trying to figure out a reason to see her again but hadn't come up with anything. Frustrated he decided to go for a walk. After awhile he found himself in the hangar and, much to his surprise, he saw Tess. Running a hand through his hair he made his way over.

As Kyle spoke to Rin she turned her head and gave him a shut the fuck up glare. This whole situation had her blood rushing. Not only in fear and worry but also in anger. Not only had a person she thought she could, at least partially, trust gone and broken said trust he had also hurt the person she cared for and loved the most. It wasn't exactly something she could just brush off, or forget any time soon. "Come on, let's get out of here." she suggested.

While she wasn't fully convinced he was completely fine she did feel better knowing he seemed alright. His embrace did more to set her at ease than anything. The feeling quickly passed though when she remembered how this had happened and who had doneuit to him, and on top of that the person was right there. Standing she turned to John, face serious and cold. "I honestly thought you were better than this. But now at least I can see you for the worthless excuse of a human you really are." she said with a harsh and unforgiving sound.

Her face was softened with love and concern yet it was easy to tell her nerves were a mess. "I should have known he would do something stupid. He was so made after I told him. I - I'm sorry he took it out on you." she said with a rushed tone. Leaning forward she hugged him, gently as to not hurt his injuries. "I love you." she whispered.

The moment she walked in and turned to Marcus John felt himself getting mad again. Some part of him hoped she would come running back to him. Between the pain killers and Kyle's strict lectur he was far from a fighting mood.

Forgotten History

Without saying a word Rin turned and rushed to the room where she would find Marcus. As she swung the door open her eyes quickly scanned the room. First she saw Marcus, the one she was concerned for and wanted to see. Taking a few steps towards him she thenrrealized Kyle and John were in the room. She knew what she was about to do wasn't appropriate and likely wouldn't help the situation but she did it anyway. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry." she said to Marcus as she kneeled down to his level.
