Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

I'll get a post here for both my people tomorrow

Seeing that she could eat physical goods, Vi immediately ate the rest of the soup. Good information to know. Perhaps something would happen if she continued feeding off of the emotions of others? Maybe something she'd need to test later. Oh well. For the most part, She passed the rest of the meal in silence, preferring to listen to the others, and soon they were done. Honey and Seraph brought some blankets for them, and she gratefully accepted one. Not that she probably needed it.

"Beats me, seedling." Vi replied to Nathan's question. "Dunno much about pokemon stuff so I can't say. Glad to know I can eat normal food at least." He was right though, this storm seemed unnatural by most standards, plus there were those creepy ghost things that attacked them the other night.

Hm, what to do, what to do~

"...Well, for now we should probably all get some sleep." First thing she was going to do tomorrow, was wake up early and see if she could actually phase through objects like any self respecting ghost should be able too. She plopped herself down onto the floor next to Ravi, completely unconcerned, intending to sleep the rest of the night away.

It really didn't seem like they were on earth, did they? The magical girl turned her own eyes to the sky. Were they abducted by some horror? Dark Magical girl? Or something else entirely? Something like this was beyond the scope of most patrons...plus, why them, specifically?

...she was probably thinking about this a bit too hard. Her attention turned to her swimsuit.

"...jeez, I can't remember the last time I wore a swimsuit." Rina stuffed her hands into her jacket pockets. At least it was decent and surprisingly airy. Shoes were pretty comfortable too, but why did a swimsuit even need shoes? Would probably make some pretty good footing for some beach sports perhaps. It was still a bit too revealing for her tastes though, but at least she had a jacket she could zip up at her convenience.

"A-anyways. Y-yea. It would probably be best to head to that central island. I dunno about this competition thing, but it's probably the best place to find information if it even-Wuh?!" Before Rina could finish her thought, one of the other unconscious girls seemed to have woken up and grabbed Amaryllis from behind. Rina was a bit to surprised to really say anything, but it looked like the two girls new each other, so she wasn't hostile at least.

That wasn't even the end of it! Out of the blue, a ship formed seemingly out of nowhere. It slammed into the ocean, a wave of sea water splashing onto the beach, nearly drenching her in the process. Many things were going through Rina's head, most notably once more, 'what the hell'. Of course, that would be totally uncool to say that and she really was used to this sort of thing by now.

"A ship, huh?" Rina whistled at the ships appearance before glancing towards Sophia with a mildly annoyed expression. "Guess that'll make getting around easier. Who the hell are you though? Friend of Amaryllis?"

A smug, cat like smirk grew on Chloe's lips as Sam began speaking. By the time the other magical girl had finished, she had to hold back her laughter.

"I'm sorry, what was that? Did I hear you right?" She took a few steps closer to Sil. "Did you say I need to be more aggressive?" Another step closer. "Is my cute little friend into being on the receiving end?" Thankfully for Sil, before Chloe could do anything else aside from teasing, she was interrupted by one of the other girls that had washed up with them. Another girl she didn't recognize but was...oddly cheery. Almost too much. Her swimsuit was a bit old style too. Well, there was something to be said about a modest girl. She immediately began complimenting the both of them, and if there was one thing that got Chloe in a good mood, it was compliments.

"Ahahaha, well it's only natural!" Chloe replied with a giggle. "I am the most adorable creature in existence you know." This girl - Lily, was it? She was actually kind of adorable. "I'm Chloe. You can tell me how pretty I am whenever you want, heh~" But, the girl, Lily, bounded off before she could say anything else or even make an attempt at flirting. Someone had a lot of energy, heh.

"Well," Chloe sighed, glancing over to Sil. "I'd tease you more, buuuut I'd rather not break that adorable face of yours just yet." With a giggle and a smirk, Chloe's crystalline wings formed behind her, now a bright aqua blue to match the rest of her outfit. Blowing a playful kiss in Sil's direction, Chloe took off after the others.

Chloe lazily floated in the air by Veronica, hovering just above the sand as they reached the shoreline. The boy did some trick that made a bridge across the water? Hmph, well, somewhat useful she supposed. For the most part she wasn't too interested in him. Such a shame he was in a relationship with Lily. She had half a mind to see if she could meddle in it...hm, maybe...maybe later. Watching their relationship crumble would be quite amusing.

"So, who are you?" Chloe landed next to Veronica, smiling in her usually confident manner. "You seem like you think pretty highly of yourself. What, with that swimsuit and the way you carry yourself, you almost make me feel intimidated if I wasn't too busy enjoying the view."

A week in, and Marietta already knew she absolutely hated this place. So dull, boring, and so...artificial. Ah, she missed her servants, her manor, her greenhouse and art gallery. She supposed it was to be expected, all the way out here in the arctic. Of course there wouldn't be any greenery or other landscapes for her to draw inspiration from. Just the cold, endless see of frigid snow and ice that Chaldea was based on. It could have been tolerable, perhaps, if she was happy with her coworkers and the administration of this place, but she was less than impressed.

Especially with that director.

Marietta listened silently, dressed incredibly lightly in her usual dress consisting of a light sleeveless dress, beret, stockings, and shoes that would look better on a red carpet than in some state of the art facility. A rune which roughly meant 'warmth' inscribed upon her flesh was good enough to stave off most of the cold, though it wasn't perfect. It took a few times to get right due to the cold, but a painter had nothing if not steady hands. She should have been wearing a heavy jacket still.

'Incompetent' was the word that came to her mind...which begged the question, why was she in charge when someone far more competent was likely a better candidate? Something she'd need to look into in her free time, perhaps. At least some of the other masters appeared mildly more competent, aside from that child who really shouldn't be here. Well, not her place to really do anything for now. She was working here, and as such for now, she would do as was required of her.

As the directors introduction was finished, Marietta's neutral expression turned into the faintest of smiles. Introductions hm? Well, the social game was easy enough to play.

"Suppose I'll introduce myself first, then." Marietta raised a hand, getting everyone's attention with a soft, friendly smile and a kind voice. Best to keep things short, friendly, and casual. "Marietta Lalaurie, a pleasure to make all of your acquaintances. I'll spare most of the details since we're short on time, but I am skilled in both modern and some old Runes, though not many, so if you would have need of them, please don't hesitate to ask." Placing a hand over her chest, Mary tilted her head to the side, widening her smile. "I eagerly look forward to working with all of you."

There is no such thing as an inappropriate time to science.

Live test subjects are the best things to experiment on, heheheh.

Interesting.

If she were to compare the composition of the 'Fireball' it was equivalent to a chemical compound back on earth. That is, a base element mixed with another. In this case, the base element of 'Mana' mixed with whatever made fire. That just left the question of how to make 'fire'. From what she could tell the only difference between her earlier assessment was the two cubes on the end, as well as their different coloration.

Hm.

Maybe if she tried adding another 'molecule' directly. As in, adding another cube to it. Would it be possible? How would she even do that...?

A thought for later.

For the most part, it seemed they had it handled. The orange slime was fairly heavily injured, and Torrent, in spectacular and usual fashion, decided to go for the most explosive and suicidal route. Effective, but incredibly...rather well, she really hoped she hadn't injured herself too badly. Well, as long as they had it handled then...why not try to glean some more information? Ash activated Mana vision once again, alongside Magic Analysis on both Digbie's Sacred Ground Spell, as well as Oberon's improvised Fire Dart.

"Questions yes, any healthy person should ask plenty of them." She replied with a low chuckle. "Now whether you find an answer, that is of course, entirely up to oneself as well! Handing out answers doesn't make one smart. It makes one indulgent and lazy." Huck would have likely learned that she liked speaking in tongues, riddles, or answering questions with questions of her own. By now, they had moved some distance from the auction block, away from all the ensuing hubub and mess that was currently happening. She was quite grateful they had made a swift exit - she disliked any sort of attention.

"...clean oneself?" Franziska echoed. "Ah...yes, I suppose you could use a little touch up. And...are you sweating? A fever?" Before he could say anything, she stopped in her tracks rather abruptly once more, placing a hand on his forehead. "Hm. Warm. Sweating. Ill? Or just a nervous reaction to being in unfamiliar land? Hold still." The mage placed a hand on his chest, uttering a few quiet words as his body was enveloped in a subtle, soft white glow. His body would feel much lighter, any grime and dirt that had been on him seemingly vanished in an instant.

"There, clean!" By now they were in front of the Library. "Come along then. We'll give you a quick lesson in the generalities of Venedig and the histories as I can." She led him into the library proper, past the large double doors that served as its entrance, and into the maze of books on the inside.

The library was big by normal standards to be sure. In fact most people thought it was the largest, but those fools simply hadn't seen the Library of the Illuminated. Histories, lost and recorded. So many books - she would take him there one day, but this would do for now.

Finding a vacant table in the proper section, Franziska inhaled.

"Here we are. This should be good. Historical records, maps, and other such things should be located here. Pick a place and start, but would suggest focusing on three things - Learning the Church of Existence, the Illuminated, and recent histories. While you do that, I shall see about getting you some proper attire, as well as see about dinner."

"Beats me." Claire replied with a shrug. This was a problem, though. In fact this whole thing smelled funny. The only thing she could think of to do was possibly try going to a pokemon center and asking someone about it...well, actually. Hold on. There was someone else who might be able to tell her a bit more about this. Fishing out her pokedex from her bag again, Claire dialed the professors number. "I've got a friend that might be able to help." Did she feel bad about possibly bothering the professor with something so trivial?

Not one bit.

"Heeeey, professor!" Claire shouted loudly over the phone. "I got a question for ya. I was helping some guy catch a pokemon so I lent him one of my great balls."

"Rrrallll~" Ralia tugged on the pokedex trying to say hi to the professor too.

"Small problem. For some reason the pokeball didn't register him as a trainer and it says I'm the one who caught it still even after I traded with him."

What the hell was going on here.

Why the hell was she in this swimsuit.

And why the hell was she on a beach.

Just what the hell.

Rina rubbed the back of her head, feeling a little unsure about this swimsuit. At least it had come with a jacket, but seriously, just what the hell was happening here? Last thing she remembered was totally not staring at her phone trying to work up the courage to ask Mika on a second date. Next thing she knew she woke up on some beach island with some sign with some pretty annoyingly bright lettering. Prize for getting to the central island without getting wet?

Prize huh...

No, she needed to focus on what was going on here.

"...tsk, this is like some lame anime or something." She sighed, quickly testing to see if she could summon her bow and swords. Seemed like this swimsuit doubled as her magical girl form, but why? Decided best to see if she could wake up any of the others, Rina walked over to Amaryllis.

"Hey, Shakespeare!" Rina gave her a light shove. "We got a problem."

"Hmm, sand, check."

Chloe looked out over the ocean.

"Water, Check."

Quickly, she looked down towards her own body.

"Totally adorable swimsuit as expected of me - check." Chloe folded her arms, racking her brain over what happened. She was in the middle of a meeting with the girls, discussing their soon to be next plan of action...that was the last thing she remembered. But what in the world? A beach resort? Was this heaven? No, it couldn't be. If it was Penny would be here and they'd be doing things.

So was this Hell instead. More fun for her, then.

"Aaaah. Well whatever I don't care. I needed a break anyways." Chloe chuckled to herself. Besides, anything that happened on a tropical island, stayed on a tropical island. Still...it was extremely disconcerting. To be yanked from her home like this with none of the other girls. Divina was probably beside herself with worry...or doing her best to keep Aurora in line. She wasn't worried, of course. They could handle themselves.

Taking a brief look over the others, there was no one here she really recognized...but who was she to say no to some beauties in swimsuits? Time to mingle~

"Heeeeey!" Walking up to the others, Chloe waved energetically, greeting them with a rather suggestive smirk. "Dunno what's going on here, but I'll take eye candy any day, heh. Any of you beauties happen to be free for a bit of fun on this mysterious deserted island?"

"Alright, so basically," Claire began, folding her arms across her chest. "When you buy a pokeball, they're registered to whoever buys them. So I lent you my pokeball, so technically I'm the one who caught it according to the pokedex and stuff." She tried to explain it simply, but she wasn't quite sure she was succeeding. "Normally I don't think it's a big deal. People trade pokemon and hand them over all the time without much of a worry, right?" That was correct as far as she knew anyways. "So I dunno what's happening but basically I still own Tez, not you and it's taking up my sixth pokemon slot. Which is kind of bad for a loooot of reasons."

Technically he'd be walking around with a pokemon registered to her. Which was kinda shady all on its own. She wasn't sure what was going on her, but letting this go seemed kind of bad.
