Yo Vampy, you may try resetting your tablet's wifi connection and see if that does anything. Usually with a wireless connection, it gets iffy after a while and needs to reset.

~"Beg your pardon?"~ Claudia spoke rather lowly with a displeased look as she turned to meet the young man who insulted her. The nerve of him. ~"If you would, my dear boy, please do hold that idle tongue of yours."~ Her voice was calm, serene, as was the cheeky smirk she issued to him, but her words were laden with an underlying hostility.

Claudia was many things, but a harlot? Indeed not. So what if she collected lovers like immature schoolboys collected baseball cards or what have you? That was her own business. As far as her beliefs, love was meant to be shared, not cloistered. If that labeled her a harlot, then so be it, but she would not tolerate anyone calling her such in public lieu of all.

Evelyn

"Eh, as long as it ain't beef gravy." Evelyn shrugged. She stretched and yawned upon entering the dining hall. There could not have been a sight more pleasing to the eyes than the cornucopia of delicious foods laid out before them. Such bright, eye catching colors, such delectable smells.

Everything you could think of was right there, from mouthwatering smoked meats and cheeses of every variety to fresh fruits and crisp veggies, not to mention a scrumptious assortment of sweets and confectionaries.

It was all to pleasing to the eyes and the stomach, and yet....Evelyn didn't have much of an appetite.

This was...weird. There were no servers, no staff. Also, where the hell was the weird chick who owned the place? She shuffled over to the table picking a sandwich from the elegant silver platter. She sniffed of it, her eyebrow raising.

"Tomato and....avocado? What the fuck?" Evelyn whispered to herself. There was a pit in her stomach, a nauseous feeling. She scooted over to Aaren, a puzzled and concerned look in her eyes.

"Dude...do you think we're in our own version of The Shining?

Twas a lovely morning in the rolling peaks and sprawling verdant meadows of the Windy Hills.

The grasslands were bristling with life and very much alive with wondrous shades of emerald greens, dotted with flowers of such frailty and beauty cascading across the valleys and basking in the warm sunlight. A soft breeze of air carried forth upon it the stray seeds of the dandelions and the blissful scent of spring, that oh so pleasant aroma of tulips and lilacs, of the vapors put off by the wild fruit trees bearing their precious and delectable gifts of nature.

Nearby, a brook whispered calmly, crystal waters rippling over smooth rocks coated in moss, glistening in the early dawning light.

But no matter how bright the sun had shone when it crested over the eastern horizon, its white light could not penetrate the thick curtains draped over the windows of the woman's cozy abode.

For she and the sun, while beautiful in the morning, didn't really go so well together.

Even on this brightest of mornings, when songbirds and meadowlarks chirped in the nearby forest giving praise to the gift of the day, the woman still preferred the company of shadows. So of course, she had not a clue as to the time of day other than her own biological clock.

She stirred from her slumber after an hour or so, giving a stretch and a stifled yawn exposing the glinting daggers of ivory in her mouth. Her hair was a tousled mess, yet so was her bed.

Last night was amazing. She had managed to charm a beautiful warrior woman into her home for a bite to drink...and for a bit of fun of course.

Never would she forget the night she spent alone with the stong shieldmaiden, kissing her lips so tenderly and caressing her tone body with such loving arms, feeling the warmth of her heart as their bare skin touched. The excitement and the pleasure were all too much for the vampire woman that she couldn’t count how many times she blacked out from the overwhelming ecstasy in her veins.

She smiled, another yawn, ~"Mmmm....good morning, my love."~

But no answer back. Wearily, she turned to the right side of the bed, finding it abandoned, the covers peeled back. Where could she have gone? The woman pondered, crawling out of bed and staggering through the blackness over to her window.

Once she parted the curtains just a little, the harsh white of the sun singed her pupils, coercing her to cringe and hiss with her fangs exposed. Letting her eyes readjust to the natural shadows however, she caught sight of a note left upon her night stand by her absent paramour.

She read it, a soft smile curling her lips,

My Dearest Claudia,

Thank you for such a wonderful night. I must admit, I was surprised to discover you were a vampire, but it didn't change anything. You are quite the woman, my Lady, and you certainly know how to treat one right. I will never forget our moment we shared together, my darling. Never forget that mischievous twinkle in your eye, the taste of your lips, or how you shouted my name to the heavens in rapture. It pains me to leave you so soon, but I must return to my homeland. Perhaps one day, our paths shall cross again. We will remember that night and share it anew with a kindling passion.

Till then, my Lady. I will always remember you and love you,

Jocelyn

Claudia kissed the letter with a loving sigh, folding it back up and placing it back on the night stand. She brushed her hair and dressed shortly after, descending the stairs and out the front door. The woman was still not used to the sun's rays bearing down on her, such an overpowering feel it had on her. So she raised the hood of her cloak, a gentle exhale as she tarried along the cobblestone road. No place she had in particular to be. Just content was Claudia to roam aimlessly, enjoying the splendor of the hills and the soft wind kissing her cheeks.

"Oh my! Aren't you a cute little thing!"~

~Claudia DeFeren~

Full Name: Claudia Lucille Amelie DeFeren
~"But you can just call me Claudia, dear. So nice to meet you."~

Age: Unknown (Appears to be in her early thirties)
~"You know, it's quite rude to ask a woman of her age."~

Gender: Female
~"My, what an odd question, my dear. I do believe I'm a woman"~

Species: Vampire
~"Don't worry, sweetie. I won't bite...unless you want me to."~

Physical Appearance:
~"Mmm, you like what you see?"~

Claudia has a very voluptuous figure, round, curvy hips and quite an ample bust she proudly displays. Her long shimmering red hair, as smooth as silk, flows gracefully over her round shoulders and down her backside past her rump. She tends to wear it down alot too, only on occasions pinning it up in a sloppy bun. Her rosy cheeks and ruby red lips glow against her creamy white complexion, as do her sapphire blue eyes sparkle with a lust for life. Indeed, she is a beauty to behold.

Backstory:
~"Hehe, now I can't tell you all my secrets, honey."~

Personality:
~"Sugar, spice, and everything nice."~

Claudia is a very jovial and carefree woman. She loves to laugh, drink, dance, sing, and flirt, especially with other women. She has a vibrant personality that seems to charm everyone around her and lift their spirits, but if you cross her, she can be quite the fire storm.

Weaknesses:

Though she is a vampire, Claudia is only affected by a few common vampire weaknesses. She can still ingest garlic, albeit in moderate amounts, and she can still traverse through sunlight, only for a short amount of time before she begins to feel weary, light-headed, and at some points nauseous. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may even cause her to faint or her skin to blister painfully, but this is only in the case of direct contact with her skin.

Religious paraphernalia if touched to her skin will cause minor burns and the sight of such can cause her to have splitting migraines and even lash out angrily. Naturally though, a stake to the heart can kill her instantly. The same goes with forcing her to swallow holy water.

Powers:

~Shape-Shifting~
As with most Nosferatu, Claudia has the ability to change shape into almost anything. Her most common alternate-form is of a black cat, but she can also form into a bat (naturally) or a cloud of dark mist.

~Vampire Allurement~
With just a simple look into her eyes or a batting of her eyelashes, a soft smirk included, Claudia can gain control of someone and lure them to her subconciously. Of course, it's only effective if the intended target is of weak will, but she is rather persistent in her...endeavors.
